This day has been too much for me already and it isn’t even noon yet.

A witch being captured.

Benjamin entering her mind and almost putting himself in a coma in the process.

Me healing him.

Me telling Izumi my feelings for Judah.

Cole most likely overhearing me tell Izumi my feelings for Judah, because you know he has the hearing of a normal werewolf.

Even though everything is pilling up I cannot allow myself to wallow in self pity. Benjamin’s health is my top priority right now.

Izumi, Kane, and I all followed Benjamin as he carried him to the hospital wing. As much as they bicker, it is nice to know that my mate is willing to help him when he needs it.

All of us except Izumi sat outside of his room, waiting for an update on him. They attempted to kake Izumi wait as well, but she practivally shoved her way into the room after they tried to stop her. Judah demanded that she be allowed to stay in the room. If he didn’t I know that she probably would have mauled them.

It has almost been thirty minutes and we haven’t heard word of anything going on in there. I healed him to the best of my abilities, but whatever blood magic that witch had done to protect her mind was nasty.

As I was healing him it felt like he was almost slipping through my fingers.

Hearing Izumi scream, while watching Benjamin fall limp into Judah’s arms was the scariest moments of my life. I’m still terrified because it’s still not over.

It won’t be over until this war with the witches is over.

Alpha Kane, Atticus and Ravian are here so that only means one thing.

My coronation is probably soon. That means Alpha Lucian might be here as well.

I stand up quickly, gaining Judah and Alpha Kane’s attention.

I turn to both of them. “I need to speak to Alpha Lucian now.” I state firmly. “I don’t care who brings me to him I just need for this to be the last incident.

Judah nods. “We will go speak to him now, I will have the nurses alert us when Benjamin wakes up.”

He begins to walk towards the nurses station.

Guilt fills me as I watch him speak to the nurse. I need to be here and comfort Izumi. She needs me right now, but I just can’t. For the greater good of the pack lands I need to speak with Alpha Lucian about what I know.

I can’t sit and wait for the nurses and the doctors to tell me what is happening to Benjamin. It will do nothing but make me feel like I failed him.

I’m not able to help him. I can only pray to the moon goddess that he makes it out of this alive.

What I am able to do is follow the path that the moon goddess has laid out to me and tell Lucian about his mate, and how she is the missing piece of ending this war with the witches once and for all.

I know that they will attack again soon, I can almost feel it.

We need to be prepared and put all of this tragedy behind us.

We need the answers on how to get rid of these witches once and for all.

"All of the Alpha's are staying in the east wing of the pack house, they are all here for your coronation tomorrow." Judah states the last part low, probably attempting to brace himself from the panic attack that I want to have.

I just don't have it in me to panic over it though. There are bigger things that I have to worry about.

"As much as I would like to freakout over not havjng enough time to prepare there are other things on my mind right now, but just know that I am elated to be your queen." I admit before reaching over grasping his hand in mine. I know he needs the reassurance as much as I do.

We continue walking towards the east wing of his pack. I am sure that Lucian has some kind of clue that we want to speak to him.

I think back to all od the stories that I hear about Alpha Lucian. I have been told that he is different from other Alphas, he does not have the temper ofthe usual wolf. I say another quick prayer that the stories are true, and that he will accept his mate even though she is a witch. It would benefit us all greatly.

Even though I have been on his territory many times, I have not actually met him.

Judah stops at a door in one of the hallways before knocking politely on it.

The door swings open quickly and Alpha Lucian steps into the doorway.

Just like in my vision his eyes were literally the same color as coal.

“Alpha Judah.” He stated before tilting his head down slightly before his eyes turned to me. “And you must be his mate, Marisol.” He repeated the action for me as well.

“Yes, it is very lovely to meet you. We need to talk.”

I inwardly cringe at the demand that I was making, especially towards an Alpha. If it wasn’t for seeing Benjamin getting hurt in real time I probably wouldn’t even have the guts to speak to Alpha Lucian at all.

Alpha Lucian nods, before taking a step back and gesturing for us to step into his room with his hand.

“You are aware of Marisol assisting the moon goddess when it comes to helping wolves find their mates?” Judah asks as we all walk into the living room.

“Yes, she helped pair one of my Gamma’s a few months ago.” Lucian responded with a chuckle as he sat down on the couch. “You can say that his mate was less than thrilled.”

Judah and I went to sit on the couch across from him, and he immediately placed his hand on my knee.

I feel myself blush a little but I try my best not to acknowledge it. “Well I have received a vision about you and your mate.”

I can tell that this piqued his interest, he sat up a little straighter as his entire body tensed. “My mate?” He asks.

I nod. “Yes, I believe that she may be on her way to you soon. Also I think that she will be able to help us with our current problems.”

“With the witches?”

“Yes, I believe that because from the visions that I saw.” I can only brace for impact now. “She’s a witch.”

I wait for him to curse at me, to accuse me of sabotaging his chances of having a real mate or for him to swear that he will never accept a witch as his mate. Those would be the tame reactions that I have received from wolves in the past.

It never comes.

“You said that she will be coming for me?” He asks.

As much as I want to question his reaction the only thing that I can do is be grateful that it was a pleasant one.

“Yes. I believe that she is actively looking for you right now, but not because you’re mates. I heard her say something about using you for revenge.”

He let out a low chuckle. “Well I probably should alert my beta about not being concerned with my whereabouts when she does get me.”

I feel Judah squeeze my knee and I turn to look up at him.

He nods at me and I automatically know what he wants me to say.

I turn back to Lucian. “I can show you the vision that I received if you want? That and do you think that you will be able to convince her to help us.”

“I would like to see the vision.” He stands up and walks towards us. “And I am positive that she will help. After all I am apart of her revenge plan.” He says with a smirk.
