Mom Don’t

Chapter Mom Don’t 17

Chapter 17

Wendy’s tone was absolutely cold

She no longer sounded tender or sweet. My mom stared at her in disbelief.

“Violet was your sister. How could you say that?”

My mom got up and went back to the room, leaving Wendy alone in the living room.

Wendy clenched her teeth, her eyes full of hatred.

She seemed just like when she first came back, and she was always hostile to me.

Back then, she was pale and thin with dull skin. Though she was the same age as me, her face was wrinkled.

When the two of us stood together, I was like a princess doted by many people.

On the contrary, she was like an unwanted orphan.

I listened to my parents and took care of Wendy with them.

But Wendy’s eyes were filled with nothing but envy and hatred towards me.

She said that life was so unfair. She wished I were the one who got lost.

She hated that she had been suffering for years whereas I took her place and had had a happy life.

She hated me for taking away everything from her.

She said she wanted to take everything back and make me experience the pain she suffered.

She did it.

The favoritism of our parents became a knife in her hands,
