Message from an Angel

Chapter 12 The perfect valentine.

Beth had had to deal with so much in the last 48 hours, who she thought she loved and trusted, to a man lying next to her who was amazing in every way. She had strong feelings for Rhydon, she was sure of that and they were completely different to how she felt when she thought she was in love with James.

She turned onto her side to face him and his eyes sparkled like the sun hitting water and the light reflecting off it. Rhydon smiled, his hand tracing along her side, his breathing slightly increased as he had to control his own feelings for her.

"I just need a little bit of time."

"I know, I can make you forget him you know."

Beth smiled back at him, he was the sweetest. She rested her hand on his hip.

"You could, but then I wouldn't be able to have closure on that part of my life. I want to get to know you as a person. I fell in love with James after I had been suffering the loss of my parents, I don't want to fall in love with you after all this. I want to love you Rhydon for the person you are not because I am hurt and looking for someone to help take away my pain. If that makes any sense to you?"

"Can I still kiss you?" Rhydon licked his lips.

Beth moved in closer to him, he didn't take his eyes off her as she came towards him and parted her lips to kiss him. Tongues danced side by side as they moved together, Beth found herself being easily turned on by Rhydon but she wasn't going to rush into it, she wanted to get to know him better at least that is what she kept telling herself.

Rhydon couldn't help himself, he was like a randy teenager, the swelling in his trousers had doubled in size and he moved it before it grew anymore. He rolled over and pinned Beth under him grinding his hips.

"Oh Rhydon." She gripped his sides as she felt him.

"I want to show you how much I love you." He placed kisses along her neck.

"Mmm, not yet, but you can keep doing that." She was enjoying the feeling of everything he was doing to her.

His angel lips left tingling sensations along her neck and a deep throbbing between her legs. It would be so easy to give into him, but she wasn't going to rush it with Rhydon. She wanted it to be special with him.

He knew what she wanted and had to respect her for it. Sex is what James did, Rhydon wanted to show her what love was. He kissed her again devouring her lips and mouth with his.

"I will kiss you to remind you of what you have to look forward to when we do make love together. You think my lips can do magic on your skin, wait till you feel what my dick can do."

Rhydon wiggled his eyebrows along with a silly grin of his. Beth broke out into a huge smile and started laughing. He leaned down and brushed his lips lightly over the top of hers before climbing off and holding out his hand.

"I have a dinner reservation reserved for my lovely Valentine." He lifted up her chin and closed her mouth with his hand. "If you like flies for dinner let me know and I'll leave your mouth open so you can catch them."

Beth stuck her tongue out at him and he playfully grabbed it with his fingers. It was the playful side of Rhydon she was enjoying about him. All the little things he did or said made her smile.

"Time to get ready to go out." He waved his hand and both of them were dressed into evening wear. Beth stood with her mouth hanging open again. "I'm beginning to think you like catching flies." Rhydon chuckled.

"Are you allowed to do that?" She made a motion with her wrist.

Rhydon grinned at her, she guessed that was a no but he was doing it because he still could. He held out a hand for her. Dressed in a smart shirt and trousers, Beth sucked in a sharp breath at his gorgeousness, she was now wearing a stunning red dress which she felt a million dollars in. Rhydon leant down to her ear.

“That is because you are worth a million dollars.” He kissed the side of her cheek.

“You can read my mind?” Beth blushed at what had been going through her mind two seconds ago as she looked at Rhydon.

His eyes sparkled and lingered over her as he bit his lip before it broke out into a smile. He took her in his arms and held her.

“I didn’t need to read your mind, the way your hand moved over the dress, the smile which was upon your face and the twinkle in your eyes. And that was after you had been checking me out. He gave her a cheeky wink.

The slight flush which was already on Beth’s face reddened till her cheeks were rosy matching the dress she had on. Rhydon started laughing softy and clicked his fingers. Music came on and he took her hand in his and started dancing with her.

“I promised you a dance a while back did I not?” He glided her around the living room floor.

“You dance well for a cheeky angel.” Beth grinned at him.

“I love being cheeky, especially with you.” He placed a soft kiss on her lips. “Come on, we don’t want to be late. I will finish this dance off later on with you.”

He spun her out and back into him then with another click of his fingers the music turned off and he led her to the door. A taxi was waiting outside the door, Beth squinted her eyes suspiciously at him, he gave her a cheesy grin and opened the door. Beth noticed several black bin bags still outside her doorway. She smiled at Rhydon as she hadn’t even had to touch any of his things. He took her hand as they say in the back of the taxi. As they arrived Beth gasped loudly.

“Rhydon, how did you manage to get this last minute?” It was one of the best restaurants in the area.

“Only the best for my girl.” He threw her a wink as they entered.

Taking the lift up to the rooftop restaurant Beth became quite emotional and she covered her mouth. They were led to a table, the place was filled with couples, soft romantic music played with mood lighting and candles placed on each table. Rhydon had of course got one of the best tables which overlooked the view of the city.

“This is absolutely stunning.”

“Not as stunning as you.” He ran his finger along her jawline and kissed her lips.

“Rhydon, I don’t know how to thank you for this.”

“I know a way which you thank me later on.” His eyes sparkled.

“Beats some shitty little restaurant that he would have taken me to.” Beth chuckled.

“You don’t need to worry about any of that with me, I’ll always give you the best of everything.”

Champagne and a selection of entrees were brought over, Glasses were poured and the waiter disappeared again leaving the two of them alone.

“Well… here is hopefully a future with you, filled with fun and lots of love and laughter.” Rhydon held up his glass.

“Rhydon, you have given me light where there was dark, wiped away my tears when I cried and given me strength when I needed it the most.” Beth clinked her glass against his.

Spending an evening chatting and getting to know each other, and stealing kisses. The time together was perfect in every way for a valentine evening. Finishing up with a walk in the night air the stars shone brightly for the first time Beth could remember, as if they were shining especially for them.

They made their way slowly back to where they caught a taxi back to Beth's home. The black bags were gone and any bit of James had gone with it. Taking a deep breath as she opened her door, Rhydon clicked his fingers, soft lighting and music came on. Beth kicked off her heels and he took her in his arms and finished off the dance they had started earlier on.
