Chapter 827
Chapter 827
In the morning, Theresa woke up and called her father. Johnson answered the phone and asked, "What's up?"
Theresa said, "Dad, are you at home today? I'll come to give you acupuncture."
Johnson said, "I'm going to the office today. You can come later!"
Theresa checked the calendar, only to realize today was the opening day. It was already the eighth day! Time flies, and the New Year holiday had passed in the blink of an eye.
"You are not well enough. Aren't you supposed to rest at home? Let someone else take care of the company." Said Theresa.
Now that her father was getting older, Theresa hoped he could take good care of himself, instead of being busy at work.
"I'm fine. After you gave me acupuncture, I feel much better. Tess, you're really getting more professional." Said Johnson.
It was the first time Theresa had heard her father praise her about her acupuncture. She smiled and said, "I owe it all to my master. I'll take you to him sometime!" Speaking of Leo, Theresa felt kind of guilty for she had been busy these days and had not visited him. So she thought she would get a chance to see him. "Okay." Said Johnson.
"Alright, you go to the office and I'll go directly there to meet you. And I haven't been of any help to you. with the affairs of the company, so I can take a look." Johnson nodded. "OK."
Theresa got up soon because she had an appointment with her father at the office. She went downstairs and found the two little ones already up and sitting at the table. Charlie was there, too. Charlie and Theresa came back together last night and had dinner at home.
Theresa looked at Charlie and said, "You didn't leave last night?"
Brenda said, "Mr. Calsis came in the morning."
Charlie was formally dressed today because he had to go to work later.
Glancing at the clock, Theresa was surprised and said to Charlie, "When did you get up?"
Charlie looked very handsome in a suit with slicked back hair. He looked at her and said, "Why do you care about me?"
Theresa watched him being ungrateful and said, "Fine, I'm sorry!" She sat down beside him and muttered, "I just thought it was hard for you to get up so early. So ungrateful.”
Her voice was very small, but Charlie still heard her. "Not hard at all. I want to see my sons." Charlie said and he looked at Leonard and Ben, "I got their teacher and she will come this afternoon."
After Theresa brought her two
children out, the tutors she had been
giving them stopped. Now that he had to start to work, he couldn't be with the kids every day, so he' kad called a tutor so they could learn something.
"Thank you." Said Theresa.
When Charlie heard her words, he frowned and said, "Theresa, I'll turn against you if you say that again." "As if you hadn't turned against me!" Theresa felt that Charlie was turning against her. After all, he talked as if she owed him money!
Charlie glared at her and said, "I shouldn't care about my own sons?"
"You should." Theresa said, "I shouldn't have been nice, worried you're too busy."
"Don't worry. I can't sleep anyway." Said Charlie.
