Chapter 770
Chapter 770 Go to Dinner With Him
Theresa looked at Dick and said, "Mr. White, it seems that you have a hard time."
Dick raised his eyebrows.
After they entered the room, someone led them to the private room.
Rawlins stayed outside without following them.
Theresa followed Dick into the private room and found that everyone had arrived. Most of the people sitting in the room were from the Calsis family.
They were Robert, Leticia, and the three sons of the Calsis family.
Of course, Charlie was also there.
At the sight of Charlie, Theresa was stunned. Charlie didn't expect to meet her there, either.
He was slightly shocked and wondered, "Why would Theresa come to such a dinner?"
Dick said, "Have a seat."
He pulled out a chair for Theresa and let her sit down.
The elders were chatting and didn't pay much attention to them.
As the most important figure of today's dinner, Mr. Sam Holland was sitting on the host seat, with a girl beside him. It seemed that she was his daughter, who was about the same age as Dick. When that girl saw Dick, her face turned cold. Obviously, she didn't like Dick.
When Chandler noticed Dick, he called out, "Hey, Dick."
He knew that Dick would come, but he didn't expect that Dick would bring Theresa here.
After Chandler took the initiative to greet him, Dick responded, "Hi, Chandler."
Theresa, who was sitting next to Chandler, felt embarrassed by Charlie's gaze.
She picked up her glass and took a sip of water to relax.
Charlie stared at her. In the past two days, he had been immersed in the good news brought by Chandler
Dick had nothing to do with her.
But why was Theresa here today?
Why did Dick bring her here?
Sam was talking with Robert and Leticia about Old Mr. Calsis. "Why didn't Old Mr. Calsis come?"
Robert replied, "He is in poor health and is recuperating in the hospital. So I didn't ask him to come here."
Sam felt sorry and said, "Then I'll go to the hospital to visit him later."
"Mr. Holland, you're so busy. Don't bother. My father doesn't anyone now. Even if he meets you, he may not be able to recognize you."
Sam took a look at Chandler and said, "Chandler has told me that Old Mr. Calsis was sick, but I didn't expect it to be so serious."
"He's getting old," Robert sighed.
Sam thought about his schedule and found that he indeed didn't have much time. He then looked up at Dick, who had been staring at Charlie, and called out, "Dick." Dick was in a daze and didn't hear it. Theresa took a look at him and gently pushed him. "Your father called you."
Dick then looked at his father and asked, "What's the matter?"
It could be seen that the young people were very reserved in front of Sam, and only Dick looked flippant.
Seeing this scene, Sam took a deep breath, feeling that he was almost pissed off by his son.
Sam held back his anger and said, "Old Mr. Calssis is in poor health. You're in Serameton. Help me visit him often when you have time."
"I see." Dick smiled. "No wonder Chandler always comes to see me on your behalf."
Celia was annoyed by Dick and snapped, "How can you talk to Dad like this?"
Dick looked at the girl. Celia and he had the same biological daughter but different mothers.
Hence, they were treated differently.
Celia grew up with her father, unlike Dick.
Dick asked, "Did I say anything impolite?"
Celia glared at him and said, "You are a grown-up, but you're still so flippant. Shame on you!"
Dick didn't reply. He just looked at Chandler and said, "Chandler, I said I wouldn't come. Why do you insist on asking me to come?" Chandler took a look at Celia, and Celia shut her mouth.
