Chapter 752
Chapter 752 Her One And Only
Despite her complex family condition and the divorce of her parents, Cristina always yearned for true love. Eugene was her first man, the only one she had even devoted to. She gave him her first date, first kiss...
A few years after he left, she never got together with another man. Her aunt had fixed her up with her friends or colleagues several times. But then, Cristina either went on fake trips or refused them after the meeting. She even felt that she had lost interest in men.
Until he came back, she realized that what she resisted was just other men, not him! As soon as they met again her dormant love for him was rekindled.
His kisses were already familiar to her. When she was with him the other day, she was still torn between getting back with him and breaking up. She mustn't let him hold her in thrall easily. Yet now, she wasn't hesitate any longer.
When he parted her lips, she took the initiative to wrap her arms around him. As the long kiss ended,
Cristina gazed at him and asked, "The injury on your head..."
"Don't worry about it." Eugene said, "It's really a small injury. I have had Dr. Hill check on it. Don't his superb medical skill?"
Once he finished his words, she put her hand on his shirt buttons, and soon, the top three buttons were unbuttoned by her. She then slid her hand into his clothes, making him coy.
He coughed. "It's early in the morning. We can't do this. After a while, Theresa would come and ask us out for breakfast."
Rolling her eyes at him, she touched those jagged and nasty scars riddled on his back. She was now contracted into sympathy and fury. "These... Are they all caused by that crazy woman?" "No." Eugene was about to jerk her hand off his body.
Cristina averred, "Don't lie to me. I can tell if you're lying with one glance!"
Obviously, he didn't want her to worry about him. So he said, "That's history now."
"I don't know how you can stand it." She sulked, "It tugged at my heartstrings even when I saw you hurt yourself by accident in a basketball game! How could she do this to you..." The person she cherished the most was tortured by that, how could she bear it?
Yet he laughed. "Well, you know what they say, men's scars are all medals of honor."
"Be more serious!" Cristina put on a straight face. "I don't think this is funny! Nor do I think it's any medal! Why on earth would she do this to you? Isn't there any other reason?" She was eager to get a clear understanding of his relationship with his mother. After Eugene heard that, a stunned look crosses his face. He did not answer her questions. "See? You're mute again! I hate it when you hide everything from me. I don't have any secret hidden from you, do I?" She had told him everything about herself.
With a pause, he then continued, "I'll tell you later, okay?"
Of course not okay! However, a knock on the door interrupted them and Brenda's voice sounded outside,
"Cristina, it's time for breakfast."
When Eugene came over last night, Brenda wasn't aware. She thought Cristina was the only one in the room. Sensing that Cristina was emotionally unstable last night, Brenda brooded about her and decided to check on her in the early morning.
Just then, Theresa descended downstairs. Seeing Brenda standing outside Cristina's door, she stopped Brenda. "Let her sleep a little longer."
