Married to the Boss: A Love in Disguise by Ava Green

Chapter 389

“You gave them money?” This was the first time Ruby had heard of these things. Their indiscriminate kindness really pissed her
off.
She knew that her father was kind–hearted. If anyone turned to him, he would do everything within his power to help. For that, he
had lost a lot of money over the years.
If they let him continue to act like this, all their pension would probably be kited in the end.
Today she must get rid of the scourge and knock sense into her father. “Dad, if you don’t drive them away, I’ll call the police and
let them drive these people away. This is my house. Why should my mother and I be the ones to leave?”
“Bah! Did you learn this from that bitch too?” Gianna spat and continued to curse, “Call the police as you like. It’s said that the
prison provides free food. My son and I can spend the New Year in it.”
Andrew tugged at Ruby’s sleeve. “Ruby, don’t make a scene. We’re all family here. Let’s not make things worse. Today is the
New Year, and you only come back once a year. Let’s have a good family reunion.”
“Do you really think we can do that?” Ruby pushed her parents into their room, snatched the key, and locked the door. “Just stay
out of it. Leave it to me.”
If she didn’t teach these awful people a lesson today, they would not know who the real host of this house was.
When Harry arrived after receiving Ruby’s call, Gianna and her son were sitting on the floor, gnawing on chicken drumsticks with
relish.
Harry shot Ruby a glance and said, “Tally up how much property they’ve damaged in your house. The bigger the number, the
better. This is called trespassing, and they will be sentenced to serve in prison.”
Gianna snorted. “Hmph, you can’t scare me with that. When that bitch of the Louis family wanted to sue her uncle, he was just
detained for a couple of days.”
Harry ignored her and continued speaking to Ruby. “It’s okay if they won’t get sentenced for years. These things were damaged
by that kid, right? Let him pay for it. If he refuses, there is nothing we can do since he’s a minor.”
Gianna raised her head triumphantly, knowing that well.

But Harry added, “It’s okay if he can’t be sentenced now. Once he has a criminal record, it will follow him for the rest of his life.
He won’t be able to find a good job, and no parents will want to marry their daughter to a man with a criminal record.”
Gianna was ignorant of the law. She was both difficult and easy to deal with because she had soft spots. Her son meant
everything to her. When she heard the consequences, she got anxious and said, “Don’t involve kids in adult matters.”
Ruby ignored her. “Harry, don’t you have a friend who manages our area? Call him and ask him about it. We must get this matter
done. I will not suffer grievances for nothing.”
Harry took out his phone and said, “I’ll call him right away.”
Gianna rushed over and slapped the phone off Harry’s hand. It fell on the hard floor and smashed into pieces.
It was a model phone Harry had prepared in advance, so he was not worried at all. “Ruby, you have a monitor in your house,
right? Did it capture what she did?”
Ruby pointed to the camera on the roof and said, “Yeah! It has captured everything.”
Harry said, “I bought this phone two months ago for 2,000 dollars. Do you want to pay for it now or do you went to wait for the
police to force you when I hand over the evidence to them?”
