Maisie's call got through very quickly.She very decisively went straight to the point, saying, "Ava, I'm at Glendale Restaurant right
now.I saw an interesting design here.Your design that was rejected by Mr.Branson which you deleted is now with Laura.She
even claims that it's hers but it's clearly yours.Ava, are you free to come over now?"
As they listened to Maisie’s words, Laura and Bill looked at each other.
They were obviously feeling a little nervous.
However, they had all heard just now that Ava had deleted the previous design.
Hence, they did not need to be too nervous.
When they were about to take deep breaths to relax, they suddenly heard Maisie's happy response.
"Ava, you and your friends are having dinner at Glendale Restaurant too? I’ll go get you from your private room.What's the room
number..."
Maisie said as she walked toward the door.
Bill glanced at Laura in a panic before walking to Mr.Lowe's side.
"Mr.Lowe, Maisie has just graduated.She hasn’t been in our company for too long.She’s eccentric, even a little neurotic.Plus,
she’s often bad-mannered.I only kept her around for Ava’s sake.Otherwise, she would have been fired long ago."
Mr.Lowe frowned in displeasure as he listened to Bill's complaints.

"I want to tell you that Maisie is just talking nonsense.Laura would never plagiarize!"
"Really?"

Bill looked embarrassed, and he was incoherent for a while.

Previously, he would never have shown up at this sort of party even when they completed a huge project.
However, he was here now and even patiently listened to an intern’s babbles.
Had Mr.Lowe taken a fancy to this fresh graduate? Bill wondered as he looked at Maisie.She was young, pretty, and energetic.
However, she was not Bill’s type.
The type of women Bill liked was the sexy and sweet-mouthed ones like Laura.
After Ava came in, she was surprised when she saw Mr.Lowe. She had only met him once or twice during their annual dinners,
hence she did not expect him to be here.
It seemed that Laura’s project was pretty big.
Ava greeted Mr.Lowe politely.
Right after she said that, Maisie went straight to the topic.
"Ava, look at this design.Isn’t this the one you deleted?"
Ava looked at the design on the tablet and saw Laura’s signature at the bottom.She was not startled at all.
Instead, she nodded calmly and said, "That’s right.This is the design that I deleted after Mr.Branson rejected it.I didn’t expect
someone to treat my trash a s treasure."
