When Ava saw that Naya was about to grab Daniel’s hand, she quickly got up and held Naya.
“Miss Mendez, Danny is already calling you an ambulance. Please hold on.“
Naya wanted to ask Daniel for help, but she did not think that Ava would interfere.
She looked at Daniel who did not have any intentions to comfort her. She could only grit her teeth and endure this.
However, she was not enduring the pain but the annoyance and dissatisfaction in her heart.
Soon, the ambulance arrived.
Under everyone’s gaze, Naya was brought into the ambulance.
Actually, Ava could tell something was up. However, Daniel did not notice anything at all.
After they got to the hospital, Daniel could only help Naya register and handle some trivial matters as there was no one else.
Then, he waited at the door of the emergency room with Ava.
Ava was just waiting at one side, not saying anything.
Dan was the first one to say something. “Ava, don’t overthink things out of jealousy. That was an unexpected incident, and I’ve
already told her parents. We’ll go back when her parents are here. “
Ava smiled magnanimously. “Dan, I’m not overthinking things. It’s normal for you to be worried about a friend. Plus, she’s in so
much pain just now. I don’t think she wants to rely on anyone else other than you, so I understand.“
“I’m not someone she wants to rely on. It’s just that she has known me for longer and she doesn’t want to trouble you,“ Daniel
explained as he held Ava’s hand gently.
“Ava, if you think this isn’t right, I’ll reject Naya’s plan and think of something else.“
Ava thought that this plan was already problematic in the first place, especially when this plan was Naya’s idea.
Naya looked polite and gentle on the surface, but the first time Ava met her, she could see the taunting and animosity from
Naya’s eyes.

Naya was definitely not someone nice.
When she saw Daniel considering her emotions, Ava smiled. “Yeah, we’ll just—“

The moment Ava said something and decided to ask Daniel to reject Naya’s plan, the anxious voice of a woman called out to
Daniel.
Ava turned around and saw a middle-aged woman walking over hurriedly while dripping in jewels.
Judging from the woman’s face, she should be Naya’s mother.

problems with her stomach?”

stomach problems?”
Naya’s mother was in disbelief. She looked at the door of the emergency room anxiously and turned around to look at Ava who
was standing next to Daniel. It seemed that she only now noticed there was someone else here.
