Married by Mistake: Mr. Whitman’s Sinner Wife

Chapter 2139

After Karen said that, Hannah flew into a fit of rage after being stunned for a second.
“What did you say? You want me to be a servant here?“
“Of course, “ Karen deliberately said in an arrogant tone. “We’re letting you stay in the guest room because we respect Eveline.
Do you want to stay here and eat here for free? You’re able -bodied. Are you not ashamed?“
Hannah did not know what to say to that. Then, her gaze softened as she looked at Madeline innocently. She asked for help.
“It’s no use calling out to her. If you want to stay, you should obediently be a servant.“
Jeremy interrupted Hannah decisively and coldly, his eyes bursting with unignorable intimidation.
“Our family won’t support people who refuse to work. Even my wife works very hard every day. No one has the privilege of
getting anything for free.“
Facing Jeremy’s breathtaking eyes, Hannah gritted her teeth in secret.
Despite her dissatisfaction, she had no choice but to stand up, walk over to take her own cutleries, then return to her seat to start
eating.
Everyone here could see how dissatisfied Hannah was. Even so, she did not dare to say anything despite her anger.
Not long after eating, Jeremy and Madeline went out sweetly with their arms around each other’s shoulders. Karen put down her
spoon after taking a few bites and reminded Hannah before leaving the dining room.
“Remember to clean up the table after eating. While you’re at it, tidy up the kitchen too, do you hear me?“
Hannah clenched her fork tightly and lowered her head to continue eating without saying anything.
“I’m talking to you, do you hear me? If it’s not for Eveline keeping you here, I would have driven you out a long time ago,“ Karen
complained in disgust. Then, she turned around and walked out.
Hannah turned her face and glared at Karen’s back.
“I’ll destroy you sooner or later.“ She grumbled with a laugh.

After dinner, she quickly cleaned the kitchen and was about to complain to Madeline. However, she was told that Madeline and
Jeremy had brought their two sons out for a walk.
Hannah waited in the living room but they still did not come back.
Plus, it was almost midnight and there was still no movement at the door. Hannah started to feel that this was strange
However, she only felt that something was wrong and did not feel worried.
At this moment, Karen walked past the stairs of the second floor groggily. When she saw Hannah in the living room, she
chuckled.
“Oh no, I’m so forgetful. I forgot to tell you that Jeremy and Eveline will be staying with the in-laws.
They won’t be coming back tonight. Go back to sleep. You’ll only have the energy to work tomorrow if you rest well.”
When Hannah heard what Karen said, she felt as if she had been fooled by Karen.
She clenched her fist, a fire burning in her chest. However, she had nowhere to vent it out.
Montgomery Manor.
The next morning, Madeline carried her youngest son and took her eldest son to the winter garden.
