Married at First Sight

Chapter 2081

Kevin caught up with Hayden and reached out to hold her.
“Hayden, you can’t socialize anymore today, and it’s still too early to rest, so let’s go shopping. Tell your bodyguards not to follow
since they’ll be too conspicuous. They’ll attract attention.”
It was normal for two men to go shopping together.
However, if Hayden took her bodyguards along, they would be easily recognized.
Hayden shook off Kevin’s hand and said coldly, “Kevin York, I’m busy. I’m not going shopping. Stop following me!”
“If you don’t want to go shopping, then accompany me to supper. I don’t have an appetite to eat alone. The food will only taste
good if you’re with me.”
Hayden glared at him and was just about to walk away when Kevin pulled her back again.
He said something to her in a low voice, and her expression instantly darkened. She glared furiously at him for a long time and
snapped, “We’ll eat at Jensburg Hotel.”
“As long as you accompany me, we can eat anywhere.”
The two hotels were so close that he could eat until midnight.
Kevin successfully managed to cling to Hayden.
However, his supper also cost an exorbitant amount.
Hayden mercilessly slaughtered his wallet.
Kevin paid the bill and said casually, “I won’t go bankrupt even if I eat like this every day. As long as it’ll make money for you and
make you happy, I’m more than happy to splurge here for supper every day.”
Hayden was speechless.
“Hay, I’m feeling stuffed. Come walk with me to aid in digestion. It’s late now, so there aren’t many people out in the streets. Not
many people will see even if we hold hands.”
It was indeed late at night.

The tabloid journalists camping outside yawned incessantly but still did not see Kevin come out. They were reluctant to leave
and insisted on waiting until he came out.
“Don’t push your luck, Kevin York.”
Kevin chuckled. “I like pushing my luck. I have to make progress somehow. If I don’t make any progress, then it means I’ve been
standing still.”
He tried to hold Hayden again, but she avoided him and said coldly, “Don’t touch me.”
“Then let’s go.”
Kevin gave up on holding her hand. This woman was so sensitive. There was a high probability that no man had held her hand
before.
“If you don’t accompany me for a walk, I won’t be able to sleep, and I can’t guarantee what I’ll do. Don’t blame me if it ends up
affecting your sleep.”
Threats were Kevin’s best weapon.
Hayden thought of his countless cunning ideas. After weighing the pros and cons, she silently walked with him without letting her
bodyguards follow.
“Don’t go out the main entrance. There are many journalists outside waiting to take pictures of us leaving the hotel together.”
Hayden stopped Kevin and took him to another passage. It was the secret passage she usually took to avoid her admirers.
“Let’s take off our suits. We’ll be less conspicuous that way.”
Kevin took off his suit jacket.
Hayden glanced at him. “Didn’t you say there aren’t many people out because it’s late? Why are you afraid of being
conspicuous?”
“With faces like ours, even if there aren’t any people on the road, we’ll be able to attract ghosts too. It doesn’t matter if we attract
humans, but we can’t draw the attention of ghosts. Female ghosts love attractive faces like you the most.”

“Nonsense. There are no such things as ghosts in this world.”
