Making Her Remember(TTS#1)

Chapter Epilogue

When Brandon heard what Sylvia said, his heart was filled with happiness.

Finally, she remembers me. He thought.

But his happiness faded when he felt heavy tremors beneath his feet and lost his balance, resulting him in falling on the concrete floor with Sylvia in his arms.

He strategically maneuvered them so that she fell on him and didn’t hurt herself. Not that she would feel the pain, she was now in a comatose phase. Her memories were replaying.

When Brandon looked around himself, he saw the world spinning, like actually spinning with them being constant in the middle, him holding tight onto Sylvia.

When she got her memories back, the two time-lines merged resulting in this catastrophe.

He too suddenly felt the same fatigue as Sylvia but refused to give in to it. With little intelligence, he called his best friend Nathan.

“Hello?” he answered at the first ring but got nothing in return from Brandon, only his shallow breathing.

“Brandon? Are you there?”

“T-Track m-me.” he got out.

It was becoming difficult for him to use his body.

“Okay I will. What happened? Talk to me.” Nathan tried again, but got nothing.

With the phone between his shoulder and ear he got his laptop on and tracked his cell.

“I found you and I am coming, don’t worry.”

The call ended and Brandon could no longer control himself and gave into the sleep.

Nathan quickly rushed to their location but couldn’t help the headache forming behind his eyes. He brushed it off as being one of stress, but with Sylvia’s memories returning, the people closest to the both of them, were going to have their whole lives changed.

He found both of them lying on the ground, holding on to each other, their breathing even now. He panicked and checked their pulses.

He breathed a sigh of relief when he found that they were only unconscious and called an ambulance for them. He also called Amelia and Max from Ember’s phone and told them of the situation.

They both were worried too much. First, the image of Ember looking at them with betrayal, now this.

They too rushed to the hospital and came just in time as the ambulance reached it with Nathan.

They met and almost immediately Nathan and Amelia felt the sudden pull of attraction towards each other. But they didn’t have time to dwell on it.

The doctors rushed both of them in the OR and started the check-up.

After the agonizing wait of 16 hours, consisting of 12 cups of coffee and 8 sandwiches, they got the news that they both have gone in a coma and they didn’t know if they would wake up.

“I am sorry but at this stage it is uncertain to predict when they will wake up. I should give them 6 month tops, if they are not woken up by then… then we have to pull the plug.” Dr. Andrews said and the trio looked at him with shock.

Please wake up.

They all thought.
