Madeline Crawford and Jeremy Whitman

Chapter 2142

Read Married by Mistake Mr. Whitman's Sinner Wife [by Sixteenth Child] Chapter 2142 - "I know as well that Dan doesn't want to give up on me, but he's really left with no other choice now." Ava felt helpless. As soon as she finished speaking, Daniel called.

However, Ava merely looked at the screen of the phone and did not pick it up.

"Ava, answer the call."

"I don't know what to say. " Ava raised her head and sighed helplessly.

When Madeline saw Ava's hesitation, she took the phone and answered the call for Ava without thinking.

"Ava!" Madeline could hear Daniel's excited voice on the other side of the phone. It seemed that Ava had not answered Daniel's calls for a long time. Then, Madeline put the call on speaker. "Dan, it's me."

On the other end, Daniel froze for a moment before asking, "Eveline?"

"Yes, it's me. I'm with Ava now and she's in the restroom. " Madeline made an excuse and looked at Ava, who was nervous.

In reality, Ava wanted to answer whenever Daniel called her as she wanted badly to talk to him but she had been restraining herself.

"Dan, I just met Ava. It seems that she's very

unhappy. Do you know what's wrong with her?"

Madeline asked even though she knew what was going on. She wanted to see how Daniel would answer.

"My grandpa suddenly fell ill. The doctor said that the situation isn't looking good for him and he might not have much time left. My grandpa said that he wants to see his grandson get married and start a business before he dies."

"Set a date and get engaged to Ava as soon as possible, then. Your grandpa should be glad if you do that, " Madeline said deliberately.

Soon after, she heard Daniel answer with a sigh. "My grandfather has always wanted me to marry Naya. Naya's parents used to be neighbors with us. When I was young, she and I often went to school together, but after high school, I never saw her that much anymore. Even so, my parents and grandpa like her very much."

"You mean your family wants you to marry Naya? What about Ava? Are you going to give up on Ava just like that?" Madeline felt a little dissatisfied and pissed on behalf of Ava.

"Dan, I can understand your desire to satisfy your grandfather's d***h wish, but what about Ava? Have you ever wondered how she would feel?"

"Of course, I've thought about it and decided that I'll never give up on Ava." Daniel's firm words made their way to Ava's ears from the speaker.

Ava's heart that felt as if it had sunk into the deep ocean seemed to suddenly lift back up again with a sense of hope.

"Eveline, where are you now? I haven't seen Ava for a long time as she's been hiding from me. She's not answering my calls either. I really don't want to give up on her. I hope she can meet me and hear me out. I want to tell her that I've thought of a way to get the best of both worlds."

After hearing what Daniel said, Madeline felt cheerful again. She could see the light in Ava's eyes as well.

"Ava and I are in International Mall. She's not back from the restroom yet. When you get here, pretend it's a coincidence that you're running into her in case she calls me a traitor. Text me when you're here." "Thank you! Eveline, I'll go look for both of you now! " Daniel quickly thanked her, sounding urgent. It could be seen how worried he was about Ava.

Then, Madeline hung up the phone and looked at Ava who had an expectant light in her eyes.

"Did you hear that, Ava? Dan still cares about you. He'11 not give you up for this, so don't give up on him. Otherwise, he'll be sad."

Madeline said and grabbed Ava's hand.

"Let's go to wait for Dan at International Mall."

"Maddie, is this really happening? Will there really be a plan to get the best of both worlds?"
