Chapter 62 He Lost Everything
Chapter 62 He Lost Everything
Anastasia's tone was cold and decisive.
"I'm busy."
She hung up immediately after speaking and blocked his number.
"What the hell!" She cursed in her mind.
Not long after, Kevin knocked on the door and came in.
"Ms. Graves, the work party of Rock Project is scheduled for tomorrow night. Is it okay?"
Anastasia was in a mess, feeling a little irritable.
Why did they all want to have dinner tomorrow night?
She had already made an appointment with Jaxon, and it was not proper to cancel it.
"Tell them I have an appointment tomorrow night."
Kevin nodded. "Okay. I'll discuss another time with them."
Anastasia nodded and then called Derek, telling him about Jaxon's purpose.
Derek was silent for a few seconds.
He said calmly, "I see. Let him talk to me."
His words didn't show his attitude clearly.
Anastasia hung up the phone.
In the hospital.
James was a shrewd person. In order to avoid mistakes in kinship identification, he almost waited for the result for about four or five hours in the hospital.
He was sorrowful for a moment when he learned of Donny's death.
They rarely got along with each other, so his sorrow was soon overwhelmed by Beatrice's scandal.
The identification result came out.
He glanced at it, threw it to Lamia, and left the hospital with a livid face.
Lamia looked at it carefully and heaved a sigh of relief when seeing James and Charlie were not related.
The property of the Patterson family still belonged to Lamia and Christian.
She would never allow others to snatch it from them.
She immediately called Christian, told him about it, and still didn't forget to warn him, "I can't believe you even want to raise Donny's son. If you take sides against me again, don't ever come back and call me mother!"
She took a deep breath and felt relieved after tensing up all day.
After a while, she called the servant at home.
"Pack up that child's things and throw them away. I don't want to see them again."
Looking at Charlie sleeping in the other servant's arms, she no longer liked him and felt quite disgusted.
"Ma'am, what about Charlie?"
Lamia snorted coldly, "Send the little bastard to Beatrice. He doesn't belong to our family!"
As she spoke, she took her bag and left there arrogantly.
Christian hung up the phone and rubbed the center of his brows, looking quite frustrated.
The result was out of his expectation.
Charlie was not Donny's child!
All his effort in the past was in vain.
For Beatrice and her child, he divorced Anastasia and destroyed their family.
When he thought of Anastasia and the unborn child, his heart was filled with regret and pain.
The faint pain spread over his heart, like countless hooks piercing in and pulling out with blood. The pain was so dense, making him can't endure it.
He was surrounded by deceit, coldness, and regret.
Only now did he know how precious it was for him to see Anastasia's smiling face when he came back every time!
But now, he had lost everything.
He was really regretful.
