Chapter 243
Chapter 243 Zachary's Secretary
Not finding Anastasia, Christian was anxious like a leopard out of control. His whole body was covered in a gloomy chill.
Zachary got up from the ground in a panic and covered his body with the blanket in shock.
"Mr. Patterson, what are you doing?"
The bodyguards behind Christian didn't intend to leave. They were ready.
Christian approached Zachary step by step. He was like a terrifying ghost from hell.
He grabbed Zachary's hair, with an undisguised stern look on his face. His voice was gloomy and cold.
"Where's Anastasia?"
Zachary flustered.
"I... I don't know. How do I know where Ms. Graves is?"
Steve took a step forward.
He said, "The surveillance video showed that you put a signal-blocking device on Ms. Graves's phone, and she came upstairs to see you. "The surveillance on the sixth floor was destroyed. She disappeared as soon as she got out of the elevator. Where did you hide her?" Zachary's face paled. He shook his head.
"I didn't. If you don't believe me, you can search the room. I've been with my secretary all the time!"
The weeping woman on the bed was Zachary's secretary.
Christian gave Steve a wink. Steve immediately asked the bodyguards to search the room.
The secretary was still naked, but he didn't care.
Zachary swallowed. His face seemed pale from shock.
"Mr. Patterson, I haven't congratulated you on your engagement yet."
Christian looked down. He suddenly increased his strength in his hands, hitting Zachary's head against the corner of the bed.
"Ah..."
Zachary screamed in pain.
Christian tugged at his hair with sharp eyes.
"Who told you I got engaged today, huh?"
Zachary was trembling violently.
"Your fiancée, Ms. Martinez."
Coldness flashed across Christian's stern eyes.
"Did she ask you to plot against Anastasia?"
Zachary was taken aback for a moment, then shook his head.
"No, no. It has nothing to do with me. Don't get me wrong, Mr. Patterson!"
Zachary started to regret it.
But he dared not tell the truth.
If Christian cared about Anastasia, his end would be worse.
So he gritted his teeth. He couldn't say it no matter what.
The bodyguards searched every corner of the room and the adjacent one.
But they didn't find Anastasia.
Steve's face was gloomy. He shook his head at Christian.
Christian's eyes were cold. He slammed Zachary's head against the corner of the bed again.
Zachary's head began to bleed.
He screamed again and again, and his face was deadly pale.
Christian was furious.
With a stern look, he said in a cold voice, "Don't pretend. I know it's you. Give Anastasia back to me, and I will pay your gambling debt of hundreds of millions of dollars.
"If you don't, I will throw you into the sea to feed the fish without waiting for the cruise ship to dock."
Zachary trembled violently all over.
He felt that Anastasia meant a lot to Christian.
He dared not look into Christian's sinister eyes. Christian seemed to be able to see through his hypocrisy and lies.
Zachary was struggling in his heart.
But in the end, he still dared not admit it.
He swallowed, trembled all over, and denied it.
"As I said, I don't know where Ms. Graves is."
Christian's eyes turned cold as he stood up.
He said with a low voice, "Throw him into the sea."
