Chapter Chapter-72: Past flashes-6
Allison felt proud of her mother and closed her eyes as the scene faded and changed to the place of her home. She looked at the mini version of herself when she opened her eyes again. She faced the back of her mother and a little girl talking to her. Ten-year-old Allison was looking at her mother with sad and confused features.
Allison suddenly turned tense seeing the dress of her mother. She knew that day when Akira left and never returned from the war. Allison walked near them to hear the conversation as she forgot what her mother told her precisely that day. "Ali, baby. Come here!" Akira held her daughter's hands and pulled her in a tight hug. Allison bit her lips, recalling that last hug from her mother.
Akira kissed her daughter's forehead and cupped her cheeks. "Mommy loves you so much, baby. Promise me you will take care of yourself!"
Little Allison nodded naively, not comprehending anything at that moment. Akira held her hands and chanted something before closing her eyes and kissing her fingers.
Then she took off the pendant from her neck which had been protecting her till now because of not using her powers there in the midnight crescent moon pack after she married her mate. She had been hiding her nature from everyone for the last few years, except from her mate.
Allison's father and brother were not at home at that time, thinking that now Allison's eyes watered as her father and brother never got the chance to see her and bid her goodbye. They were at training in the neighbouring pack. Akira put the pendant around Allison's neck and kissed her forehead once again.
"Ali, never lose this thing, okay. It will protect you from evil eyes and when you will turn eighteen you will get your real powers. Embrace them, my love. You are meant to have them." There were tears in Akira's eyes as she looked at her daughter. Her replica!
"Say to your brother and father that I love them so much."
"But Mommy, where are you going?" Little Allison asked with a frown and wiped the tears on her mother's cheeks. Akira laughed with warm eyes.
"Mommy is going to save your.... Prince charming, love. You like him, right..."
Little Allison nodded enthusiastically, hearing about her dreamy prince charming. Her emerald eyes gleamed excitedly.
Allison let out a small laugh seeing her mini form and remembering how her mother used to tell her stories of prince charming who would come one day to take her to his kingdom.
"He is in danger and I am going to save him so that you can see him in the future. You are bound to him, Ali. I am not going to let anything happen to you and him. Mommy has to go now..." Akira sighed. Little Allison blinked at her mother and asked, "When will you come back? Will you bring him home with you today?"
Allison pressed her lips tightly because she remembered very well that she asked this question to her mother for the last time before she left her. And never returned. Tears formed in her eyes yet again.
Akira hugged her again and rubbed her back. "One day, I will send him to take you. He will protect you, my child."
Allison shed a few tears seeing their interaction eight years ago when her mother left them. She watched how Akira went to her room and put all her things into a bag except a small box before leaving them in Allison's small cupboard. She knew her daughter would need them one day.
Then She pulled that small box and opened it. Taking a small thin hair in her hand she looked around her home for the last time and immediately departed from there to a place where Lyceon was fighting with the enemies.
Allison too teleported into the place in a blink, she looked around at the wolves and vampires' battle again. But it was different from the previous one. The werewolves were not much in numbers as compared to the Vampires. Then she happened to see young Lyceon fighting with a few vampires in his human form, slashing their bodies with the raging features. She was surprised to see his handsome face without any scar or tattoo. Allison wondered if He got the scar from this fight.. Just then she saw her mother emerging there.
Allison widened her eyes as Akira pushed the werewolf away from attacking Lyceon from behind. She called his name and He turned around.
"Stay away, Lyceon. You can't fight this, you can't win this. You are not powerful yet. You have to back off and leave." Akira warned him before looking around but she didn't see any familiar faces.
"Akira, is that.... you?" Lyceon was dumbstruck. He remembered how his uncle Bernard used to tell him about their friends. He also showed the photos of everyone so Lyceon recognized Akira.
"Where is your sister, Ashina?" She asked urgently. Before He could reply, Akira gasped when she sensed something being tossed their way. A sharp dagger came in their direction but it flung directly into Lyceon's eyes. And it happened in millisecond, the dagger was about to pierce his eye but Akira managed to yank it on time before it could contact his eye but it scratched his skin slightly around the left eye, making him hiss.
Allison gasped and looked at Thana who attacked Lyceon with her magical dagger which burned his skin. Akira gritted her jaws and turned to Thana who snarled at her.
Both of them were face to face again after almost eighteen years. Akira knew that the dagger was coated with the venom by Thana which was aimed to destroy Lyceon's vision but she was glad that she reached on time.
"So the dear saviour of all finally came out, huh!" Thana exclaimed loudly before thrusting her fire waves at them but Akira dodged it.
"You will never get to kill him, Thana!"
Akira yelled and held Lyceon tightly in his hold. "I'm sorry but I have to do this, Honey!" she whispered looking at the werewolves from his packdom.
Allison's heart stopped anticipating her mother's next move.
"You have to live even if I need to sacrifice and destroy everything around me including my life." Saying this Akira threw the dagger right in the direction of Keir which slashed his chest just above his heart and closed her eyes before putting the shield around her and Lyceon.
Then she screamed so loudly that the ground beneath them shook and all the vampires and werewolves bleed from their ears and mouths.
