Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter Chapter-66: Past flashes

Ashina looked at Lyceon, He sighed before turning to her. "We were born that day and lost our parents the same day. After that the war between werewolves and vampires was a never-ending process. The vampires ruled over for years and Uncle Bernard and his wife took care of us for those years hiding our existence. But Keir killed them too when he came to know about me and Ashina."

Allison's eyes for a second went on Rebecca who stood there with a stoic face.

"The last Lycan heirs on the earth survived. So I started the war against vampires in rage but my powers were not too strong in front of him and his bitchy witch. Thana almost killed me but Akira came there out of the blue. She saved me but sacrificed herself. Keir and his mate fled away seeing the effect of her powerful spell on the battlefield. That's when she told me the prophecy before taking her last breath."

Tears leaked out of Allison's eyes freely. Her mother knew she wouldn't come back to her family that day. That's why she told her to stay strong.

Lyceon sighed deeply and pulled her to his side before putting her head to his chest, hugging her closely. She let out a sob remembering her mother's face and hearing her sacrifices.

"I'm sorry." He whispered, caressing her head. "She was a strong woman!"

Indeed she was a strong person.

Allison nodded in affirmation but stayed silent. Mason closed his eyes and sat beside his sister. They all lost their parents in the wars. After cooling down, Allison pulled herself from his embrace and wiped her tears. "Wh...what now? Why are they after me?" She asked in a hoarse voice.

"Because Keir wants you, Allison. He knew your mother. And he also knew that your mother might have passed her powers to you. Akira and Thana were the most intelligent and powerful witches at that time, nobody was able to match their abilities. Both of them used to be good friends, But the difference was that your mother had a pure heart, that's why she was white witch but Thana chose to learn black powers like her personality. Keir also wanted Akira by his side but she never gave in to him. So Thana supported him but now, he is after you to exploit your powers and to weaken the power of our King." Felicia informed her.

Allison understood what he wanted now. He would start another war with them after taking her in his cage. It will benefit him in all ways. After all, she was his main bait. Hurting her will hurt her mate. Lyceon! She was his weakness.

Allison's gaze automatically turned to Lyceon whose eyes were already on her. She looked into his dark eyes and could see the longingness. All the time up to now, He was keeping her under his wings to protect her unknown to her. "I would never let anyone hurt you!" He stated curtly, his tone laced with promise But Allison was not worried about that. She was worried about the uncertainty. She didn't want to lose anyone anymore. She won't let her mother's sacrifice go in vain.

"Did she link our souls also? My mother!" Mason asked, breaking everyone's reverie. He asked Felicia gesturing towards Rebecca who almost forgot about her mate-bond with him.

She rolled her eyes at him but irritation and worry were dancing on her face.

"She might have!" Felicia shrugged.

"Who is Minna, and where is she now? Did she survive?" Allison asked suddenly to which Felicia shook her head, not knowing.

"We don't know about her. We are still looking for her if she is alive or not. But Dad told us after the first war they all separated for our protection and never got into touch again until your mother appeared eight years ago. Except that we don't know anything. Every mystery faded with them." Rebecca let out.

"So...how do we know what happened next and what we are supposed to do now?" Mason inquired.

Lyceon and Ashina exchanged a gaze and looked at Felicia. She nodded at them and looked at Allison.

"For that, I need to project your memories, Allison!"

.

"I guess nobody has the Archives of eight years ago. Or they didn't deem it necessary to keep them. No background of Akira Griffin is found in the Midnight Crescent Pack or her maiden pack which had been destroyed after the attack by Keir Frederick." Aztec informed them returning with empty hands.

"It's weird though. Something must be there!" Rebecca mused.

"I don't know why but something was there which we don't know yet but Keir." Ashina let out, staring in space. Her thoughts dwelled into the past flashes.

Lyceon turned his gaze to Felicia.

"Can you do this with other means?"

Felicia sighed and shook her head.

"No king, but I need only Akira's belongings to relive the past flashes into Allison's mind. Only then she could see what happened exactly. Other than that, there can be no other way. Mine or Allison's Magic will limit our powers even if I try." "It means we will never get to know what happened and what we need to do now other than declaring war." Rebecca sighed, crossing her arms and leaning back on the sofa.

"Allison, can you help me with something in it?" Felicia turned to her. Allison parted her lips and thought about it.

"How can I help? I don't have the powers to see past flashes or foresee anything, you know. Mom never confided about her personal life with me, not that I could understand at the age of ten. But she told me that after eighteen I would be able to get all my powers." Allison sighed and raced her mind about what she was missing in her abilities that could help her.

"Even your father never disclosed anything to you, how he met you mother and where?" Ashina asked.

"He met mom three years before I was born. He was her mate so they fell in love at first sight and married after two years. Dad told me that her pack was attacked and her family was killed so she shifted with her aunt to her pack where she met him and he brought her to the midnight crescent moon pack after their marriage. We know nothing more than that." Mason answered instead. Allison didn't know about this information but again he was five years older than her so their father might have told him things which he understood better than her at his age.

"So you do not possess any of your mother's powers?" Felicia enquired. Mason shook his head. "I Am the werewolf only but yeah, stronger than an ordinary werewolf."

"Cia, is there any way we could get to know the past?" Allison asked impatiently as she was equally eager to know. They killed her mother and she would definitely not sit back behind doing nothing. She wanted vengeance. She wanted to kill the bastard who caused the destruction and so many deaths for the sake of reign.
