Chapter Chapter-45: Banshee
Allison breathed in complete silence for a while gathering her thoughts and for a minute she was grateful that He didn't disturbed her. She couldn't believe that she did that. It was something surreal. The shield power is the greatest energy given by the moon goddess.
But it's also a curse somehow!
I can't be....
"Banshee! You are half banshee, Angel!" Lyceon muttered, grabbing her attention. She shook her head in disbelief. Oh goddess! Why me? Lyceon pulled her face up. She was vulnerable at that moment so she couldn't think of what to do.
"Just be calm. Don't overthink it. It's your power that blew out the chandelier and other things around us which were out of the shield you put on. Nothing is wrong with this. Nobody will realise what happened a few minutes ago." He said softly before wiping her tears. Allison gulped her saliva, clueless of everything around her. A big revelation of her identity came out today and she couldn't accept it. She was a witch as she thought then how come.... "You need to pull it out, Angel. Remove your shield." He said and she blinked up at him. Allison's eyes scanned the surroundings and she realised she had made them hanging. She looked at his prideful eyes as He smiled at her, nodding. She sighed. Everything was chaotic and she was dying with confusion.
"I...I don't know how to do it!" She murmured.
"You can do it. Just call out your power and release the shield." She looked into his eyes and the tattoo scar on his right eye. He nodded, encouraging her. She inhaled deeply before closing her eyes and twisting her wrist as she willed herself to ease the tension out of her body and signalled her mind to release the shield. In the next moment, everything turned around and people screamed again seeing the big chandelier hit the floor.
Lyceon yanked her close to his body before she felt him emitting a dark aura around the ballroom walls. Ashina ran towards them before huffing.
"Are you okay!" She asked with utter concern. Allison nodded slowly, looking like a clueless fool.
"I apologise for this little accident, everyone. I hope all are fine. I guess, there is something wrong with the golden thing above us. Please give us a moment to clear everything up." Alpha Mellina awkwardly said and snapped her fingers before the servants started their duty in swiftness to clean the floor.
Ashina sighed. "Thank goddess, you are fine. Hadn't it been for Lyceon, then you could have..."
"Did you just exercise your energy, Ali?" Felicia came in line before looking at Allison with a blank look. There was a small cut on her chin. Allison glanced at Lyceon who levelled his eyes on Felicia. "What do you mean?" Ashina asked her.
"I felt her powerful energy around me which shook my stability. I could see shocking but dangerous visions." Felicia whispered to nobody, ignoring Lyceon's warning eyes. Ashina blinked up at her.
"Alright. It's a thing to discuss later. Felicia, you need to come to the kingdom too. We need to talk about this after we go back!" Ashina mused, giving a look to Lyceon. Allison frowned. She knew they were hiding something from her. "We will talk about it, Felicia." Lyceon stated. Felicia nodded with a bow to her king. Aztec walked to them out of nowhere.
"I still doubt it was not a coincidence, King." He said before looking around. Allison looked up at him who seemed disturbed.
"The vampire clan left as soon as it happened, why?" He raised his eyebrows. Lyceon clasped Allison's waist and growled possessively. She parted her lips, fearing a little of him. He forced himself to curb his anger around her as He promised himself before. To come close to her, He needed to work on his raging issues.
"There is not only one group, Beta Aztec." They all turned to the voice and saw the man in a blue tuxedo walking to them.
"Greetings, King!" He nodded at Lyceon who merely looked at him. Trevor cleared his throat and turned to Aztec.
"Edwin and his buddies left because Ashina warned him to stay away from..... your guest." He spared Allison a look who didn't like the man at first sight. She matched his gaze and he couldn't help but smirk at her audacity. Lyceon neared him and got into his face.
"Trevor, it will be good for you if you keep your emerging desire and fucking thoughts to yourself." He spat, making him thin his lips. Lyceon didn't want to create any scene or bloodbath there as He had certain matters in his hand to deal with tonight. A human blood entices the vampires double time than anything. Trevor didn't know Allison but he was sure that she was someone important to them as they all were trying to protect her.
He nodded at Lyceon and said to Aztec, "I am not here to hurt or clarify to anyone. Night shadows coven never get involved with your enemies before and now too. So don't hold it responsible for something which you are not sure of." He couldn't counter back to Lyceon as he knew the result won't be good. It was his territory and admirers were all around.
Trevor is the Vampire leader of the Night shadows coven, the only vampire clan which was a part of the community. Edwin was from the same coven and other few vampires who came under the Territory of Dark walkers. Other than that no Coven or clan was with the werewolves kingdom. As both species had been hard enemies for ages.
"Iam not saying that the chandelier thing was the doing of your vampires, Mr Trevor. But They were around Allison when that happened. Why did they suddenly leave their newly made friend with potential danger?" Aztec simply asked. Trevor looked at Allison who was not fearing him in any way. But then her eyes went to someone behind him and she almost gasped.
"She is not someone who needs an army to guard around. Anyways! I will take my leave as it will be useless to clarify your accusations right now!" Trevor said as He turned on his heels to leave them alone.
"He is telling the truth. I warned Edwin to leave when he approached Allison..."
"But It won't make him a Saint again!" Aztec rolled his eyes, interrupting Ashina. He was being snappy lately which Ashina recognized at once. She grabbed his hand.
"You know! Let's dance, Beta boy." She pulled him to calm his hot nerves. Felicia excused herself with her friends. Allison didn't realise when all left them because her sole attention was on the only person who raised her little hope today.
