Lyceon - The dark lord

Chapter Chapter-17 - Dinner

Allison's stomach clenched because of his statement but she shook the tension away. She didn't need to care about her reputation here. And she definitely wouldn't care about what they will say about her. She would be all good unless they would decide to harm her.

Allison had set her sole purpose to escape this hell and find her brother from now on.

She was pacing back and forth with tension. It was past eight and she was already becoming restless. She didn't see Him after that, not that she wished for but the question was on the tip of her tongue whose answers she wanted to rip out of him.

She wanted to ask him about her brother but would she really be able to hear the truth if He would say He killed him with his bloody claws.

The knock sounded on her door pulled her out of my assuming thoughts.

"Who is there?" she asked nervously.

A girl in her teenage years opened the door and bowed in respect.

"Miss, the princess has called you for dinner downstairs." she said softly.

Allison reckoned her as a maid and nodded. Princess must be Ashina. If not then she didn't know as she still hadn't met the entire family or say the entire kingdom populace.

Sighing, Allison walked with her to the grand dining hall and was stunned to see the people gathered up, sitting on the chairs for the dinner.

'Do I even belong here?' She wondered as she halted me on her tracks. The urge to turn and go back to her room was strong but a voice interrupted her little plan brewing inside her mind.

"Allison, won't you join us? Come!" Aztec spoke loud enough grabbing everyone's attention. She realised she was glued on the ground alone while the maid had already started serving them. She wet my lips not getting habitable with the look showered towards her. She watched around ten people sitting and having their meal with all the comforts in the world.

She hesitantly took baby steps to the dining table, conscious of the hot gazes of the multivariate creatures presented there. Their different scents hit her strongly, making her palms itch like something intense trying to emerge out of her. Oh goddess!

Not now!

She knew her new energies were forcing to surface on it's own but she couldn't take the risk to enforce them in the presence of the people whom she considered not less than enemies and in this unfavourable situation. So she fisted my hands to suppress the itching. But that one particular stimulating smell was too irritable to get on her nerves.

Though she was a human but she has a few powers which she yet harnessed to make a use out of them and which helps her to sense influential and eccentric things and people around her. Her skin prickled, sensing the faint scent adulterated others but she couldn't pinpoint it. Something was off there at the moment. Or someone!

Well, it didn't have anything to do with her. Disregarding it, Allison took the vacant seat beside Aztec as he gestured to her to sit there.

"Who is this pretty chic?"

Allison looked up to see a guy with his electric blue eyes looking curiously at her with a smirk. Then she heard a chuckle ripple through another one beside him. She turned her gaze towards him. Wait!

She blinked up in surprise that both guys looked the same. They were identical twins. Both had blue eyes and blonde hair but one's face was a little more sharper than the other. Otherwise you cannot differentiate between the two without a vigilant look.

"Not someone with whom you can hang around! Not that she is your type. So calm your flat tits." She heard Ashina snickered before pushing the piece of meat into her mouth. Allison was thankful for her response despite being conscious in her presence. That woman clearly has the way with bluntness.

The blue-eyed guy snorted and looked at her before uttering, "I can change my types, blazy."

Then Allison heard the growl near her.

"Say that to your King." Aztec curtly warned them. They straightened up at once hearing their King's name.

'He is definitely his King's stooge.' She thought bitterly.

"Dude, shouldn't you introduce her to us to avoid those sorts of statements? Everyone is curious here, you see." the other twin stated gesturing around the table at a few people who were indeed looking at Allison with curious yet vigilant eyes. "Let's just wait for the King to announce her presence officially. I can only say she is going to be living here with us from now on and you guys better treat her with respect. Especially Aidan and Caden, you both. Don't tease her. She is not like us. So be careful." Aztec notified them with a rigid voice. After all, in the absence of a master his beta would be in charge.

Allison learned the twin names. But she was worried about both girls sitting at the last chairs of the table staring at her with animosity. She resisted the urge to roll her eyes.

'Did I steal your men?' She wanted to scream at them.

"They were just asking the name, Aztec. I guess Allison is able to tell them and introduce herself, right Sweetie?" Ashina smiled at her in a provoking way before swirling the wine in her glass. Allison stared at her for a long time. Her side profile looked so elegant and like a goddess's face, she was an eternal beauty.

Allison reckoned she had this habit of disconcerting others and being spooky but Allison was not stupid enough to ignore the hidden mockery. Being an observant personality, Allison knew Ashina was testing her limits. She smirked in her mind. The dazzling woman had no idea what she was capable of.

Still, a lady knows her manners so Allison raised her head like the grace of a queen and started telling them her hearty feelings.
