“Here,” Alpha Tristan gave me his black card while we were on the way to shopping with Raya and Zera. “You will need it after purchasing a dress or dresses for tonight,” he added.
“That’s so sweet of you.” I smiled widely, showing off the card to Raya. I smiled even though my heart was bleeding after learning from Jade that Ezekiel fucked her so hard that
she couldn’t even walk. I
wondered why I was
surrounded by cheaters.

Chapter 15
Tristan asked both the girls to shop independently once we reached the mall because he wanted privacy while shopping with me, but I knew it better.
Once they left, he spoke, “You can buy whatever you want. Whatever,” He stressed the last word, on which I narrowed
my
eyes.
“Even the entire world?” I asked in a sarcastic tone, to which he chuckled, shaking his head.
“I mean anything from the mall, Fiancee. Diamonds, purses, heels, or anything else for breaking your wrist
yesterday,” he explained, on which my blood boiled. He was

trying to buy a one–word apology after learning the truth.
I took out my blade–shaped earring and cut the card into two pieces. Throughout the time, he stayed silent in shock and came out of his hock only when he threw his card at his face.
“What the hell?” he growled at me. Thankfully, we were still in the car.
“If you’re really sorry, then say sorry, Alpha Tristan Deacon, because sorry can’t be bought,” I hissed, glaring at him. “Don’t tell me that you didn’t read in my profile that I value

emotions more than money,” I added, and I stepped out of the car after wearing my earrings.
“I’m sorry.” I heard him apologize after he joined me. I looked at him and felt he was sincere with his words. “Did you forgive me?”
“Mistakes are forgiven, Alpha, not abuse,” I responded with a smile. Did he really think that
if he apologized, then I would forgive him?
“No one has made me
apologize before,” he muttered, ‘
gritting his teeth.
“No one asked you to apologize
to me even this time,” I
mocked him.

“You need to learn how to
respect…” The voice died in his mouth, maybe because he recalled our previous
conversation and immediately changed the topic: “Do you
always carry weapons in this way? First, hairpin, and now earning.”
I shrugged my shoulders and said, “I can’t depend on men for my safety all the time, not when I’m planning to stay alone after getting over this engagement thing.”
“You really want to leave?”
“Hmm. There is nothing that can hold me here,” I said bitterly, thinking about my

Soon, I started hating the idea of going shopping with Alpha Tristan because he didn’t even care to ask what I wanted and decided to buy whatever he liked.
‘He is dominant in bed, and his brother is dominant 24*7, I thought, tearing my eyes from the black S**y gown that I wanted to buy, but Tristan bought a modest–looking black gown and matching jewelry along with it.
He was more into showing Raya that he was buying the most expensive things for me, but my eyes craved the things

that I found beautiful, not
caring about the price.
“This n*ecklace looks so beautiful on you,” he
whispered near my ear while helping me to wear that
diamond n*ecklace. I looked at
the n*ecklace in the mirror and smirked, watching Raya fume in anger from afar.
“Indeed, it’s lovely,” I agreed, but I loved the long earring kept in the corner of the showroom. “Thank you so much, Fiance,”
“Call me by my name, Bri,” he said, calling me by my nickname. I nodded my head and tried to push him away,

creating a scene when he leaned forward and left a perk
on my cheek. “It’s important to make her believe that we’re coming close,” he explained, but I was scared of Ezekiel.
I shook my head, thinking I didn’t owe any explanation to him.
“I heard that there was an attack at the eastern border in the morning.” I initiated a
conversation with Tristan while
returning to the pack house to
show that we were frank and open like a couple. It wasn’t just to show her jealousy.
“Nothing to worry about, Bri.

They were mermaids again.”
“Oh!! I hope our warriors are fine and nothing happened to them,” I said in concern, which I wasn’t faking at all.
“Actually, we lost two, and
three are injured. But we
managed to kill all those
human reptiles.”
“But why did they attack us?”
“I don’t know. They attack werewolves and Lycans for no
reason.”
I scoffed at his words, “And you believe a stupid reason. No one attacks for no reason, Tristan. Instead of war, you should try to talk with them to know what

exactly they are doing here.”
“Maybe they are attacking for treasure and food,” Raya pointed out.
“Really? Water covers 71% of the earth, and you think that they are attacking our species for treasure and food?” I mocked, shutting her mouth.
“Beauty with brains,” Zera commented. “That’s why Luna
is needed, brother. To fill the gap in the brain that Alpha males don’t have,” she
snickered.
“Zeraaa!” Tristan glared at her, and she shut her mouth.
After reaching the packhouse,

Tristan asked Rory to keep the shopping bags in my room. I didn’t miss how Raya was eyeing my bags. I knew that look, which meant that she was planning to do something.
I couldn’t stay near my clothes to watch them because Tristan wanted to spend some time with me, which was to make Raya jealous, of course.
Surprisingly, he was taking an interest in talking with me to know my views and ideas about the attacks.
We returned to our respective rooms to get ready for the
party, only to be surprised that instead of the gown and
11/15
jewelry that Tristan bought for me, there were transparent and sultry black dresses with a
note.
‘A whore like you should wear this to attract males,’
I asked Rory about the gown and jewelry. She was clueless. She remembered bringing the bag securely to my room, and after that, no one came into my room except Jade.
“And why was Jade here?” I asked her.
“I didn’t ask her, but she has a similar bag in her hand as yours,” Rory responded, to which I took a deep breath, asking the Moon Goddess for

patience because I really wanted to go and kill that b*tch. For now, I ordered that no one be allowed to come
inside my room. No matter who he or she would be.
‘Jade, did you change my shopping bags?‘ I linked her calmly.
‘Yes, Love. Raya told me that her bags got exchanged with yours, so I changed the bags and gave the right bag to her. What happened?‘ She asked innocently.
I bet she did this intentionally by teaming up with Raya.
‘Nothing,‘ I said, closing the mind–linked. I went into my
13/15
closet to find any black dress that I could wear tonight. And it was surprising to see the same black dress hanging on the hanger that I liked in the mall but couldn’t buy.
I rechecked it, and I was sure that I wasn’t mistaken in recognizing it. I looked around, and my eyes landed on the long diamond jewelry that I loved in the store.
No one except Jade came into my room, and I knew she would never leave these things
for me.
Ezekiel.
I knew it was him. Only he dared to break into my room

as if he owned it.
