Chapter 36: Secrets Unfold Part 2
After the conversation with the gods, Grandma Luna took me to the enchanting garden. The scenery is so peaceful and the most magical garden I have ever seen.
But I still can’t believe I’m on Olympus—where the Gods and Goddesses reside. I thought only the Gods and goddesses were here, but I was wrong because there are magic users here as well. However, these are the magic users who are strong enough to fight stronger opponents that no ordinary magic users can take on. Some of them are Demi-gods. They rehearse every day to attain their desired shape and strengthen their techniques.
I thought that war only happens in the magic world, but I was wrong because even here on Olympus, a battle is still going on.
Since Hades is said to have disappeared into the underworld, they expect him to reappear on Olympus and sow terror.
And I’ve been told I was bound to save Olympus. Because I am also the daughter of God of Everything. I wanted to see him, but God Zeus and all the gods and goddesses didn’t exactly meet him. They just know him with a voice and take orders from him. I badly want to meet him.
With my restless persuasion, Grandma Luna brings me to the sea of clouds. Only pure cotton-like clouds can be seen all over the vast place.
“What are we doing here, Grandma?” I asked in surprise.
“Talk to him, Luna...” she said smiling and then left me alone.
I smiled when I didn’t even fall on the clouds. Wow, I can step on it and I just bounce at its fluffiness.
Suddenly, a light dazzled me, so I quickly covered my eyes.
“Welcome, my child...” said a full, deep, soul-shivering but soothing voice. It’s not scary, but it makes me feel better and at ease.
I smiled. “Thank you... are you the God of Everything?” I asked and kneel then clasp my hands together as I close my eyes.
“I am... I know you are still confused about your true identity. Just remember—you are the one I have chosen to guide the world and keep it peaceful and happy. I have no other desire but peace...”
I nodded and thought about what he said. “But why me?”
“Because of the goodness and pureness of your heart. Even if I made you invisible, your heart is still pure and innocent, and despite being invisible, you remain kind and loving. I see the goodness you did, even if people can’t see you.”
I smiled as I remembered the times I helped magic users, even when they couldn’t see me.
“So, isn’t the consequence of Grandma Luna the reason why I became invisible?” I asked because I knew one of Grandma’s consequences was the reason I became invisible.
“No. I made you invisible so I could test you if you were worthy of being a goddess.” My eyes widened and my jaw dropped in awe.
“Now, accept your full power. I bless you with the power of the holy spirit, heaven, and the universe. You are now the new Goddess of Creation and Universe, Goddess Luna Syesha. A new order must begin…”
After that, I suddenly shine dazzlingly, causing me to close my eyes firmly.
And upon fluttering my eyes open, I felt a strange power flowing through my whole body. My eyes glowed and vivid images flashed before my eyes like a movie screen. When I close my eyes again, I can see events around the world and across the galaxy. It was as if I had enormous eyes staring at the entire universe—invisible and omnipotent.
When I opened my eyes again, I was so surprised and let out a gasp when I noticed that I was floating in nothingness.
I subconsciously teleported here in the galaxy!
I roamed my eyes and smiled at the beauty of the entire galaxy. I flew towards the stars happily. In the past, I was just looking at the stars below and now I can see them face to face. They were like nothing but just small stones floating in the universe like accessories.
One by one, I went to the planets and looked at them closely.
I smiled widely. I never thought that I could see this all by myself. How I wish I could bring Leena here…
I saw a big planet shining, and it was so hot. It is at the very center of all the planets and is the largest—The Sun.
Oh, she’s lonely...
I saw the moon on the other side and it was also shining, but not hot. It is also like a huge star that gives light at night.
Then I flew toward the moon and I felt all the emotions. I’ve been dreaming of being here and now I’m standing here.
But the Moon is lonely, too. Just like the Sun.
I remember the story from my childhood. My favorite story my mother used to read to us at bedtime. I couldn’t help but reminisce.

“Mama, can you read us a bedtime story?” Leena said while we were preparing to sleep. Mama couldn’t see me and I just kept listening.
“What do you want to hear?” Mama smiled.
“Leena, I like that story of The Sun and The Moon,” I said and Leena smiled with excitement.
“Mama, we like The Sun and The Moon!” Mama nodded and smiled softly.
“In ancient times, when the world was new. There was only one big planet among the planets in the universe; it was very beautiful but at the same time too hot. And it shone towards the Earth every day. The planet was called the ‘Sun’. It gave light for people to see, for plants to grow, and for heat to balance the cold temperature. But even though it’s so beautiful, the Sun is sad and lonely all the time. At night, it disappears and is replaced by the light of the stars.”
“Sun is lonely, mama! It’s a good thing I have twins, so I’m not sad! Because I have someone with me every day!” Leena said with a smile. I also smiled faintly, that couldn’t reach my eyes. I’m sad because only Leena could see me...
Mama smiled and continued the story. “And there is the Moon; it’s small but brings happiness to everyone. Even though it’s nice to look at, at night, it also feels lonely and sad. Because not everyone appreciates the Moon’s light because people sleep at night. But one day, when the Sun turned towards the other horizon, the Sun saw the Moon. At that moment, their gazes met, and they appreciated the beauty of each other. Sun fell in love with Moon. Since then, the Sun has always wanted to see the Moon.”
“Poor, Moon! From now on, I will look at the moon every night!” Leena and I both said and smiled. I feel like I’m on the moon. Leena and I giggled.
“All right, do you promise that?” We nodded at what mama said and she continued the story. “Moon noticed Sun’s light disappearance and replaced it with his glow when it was time for them to meet. Moon knew that Sun had an admiration for him and so did he for Sun. Even against his will, Moon forced himself to say what was on his mind. Moon said, “Go and be happy. Our fates are already decided. You give illumination in the day and my glow was cast at night. So, we can never be, Sun. Please, do not ever abandon your light for the sake of my darkness... but you will be forever in my heart. And always remember that I only belonged to you.”
“That’s so sad... but I know one day they will find each other’s arms again.” Leena and I both said while frowning.
“What’s the ending, Mama?” Leena asked desperately. But mama just smiled and said, “How about you decide the ending?”
“Really?!”
Leena and I slept together with a smile and dreamed of the happy ending of Sun and Moon.
***
The story reminds me of Leena and me. But now, I no longer feel alone. I have them. I can freely hug them now... because I am no longer invisible.
I stayed on the moon for a while. From up here, I saw Leena looking at the moon while smiling. Even though she can’t see me, I reciprocated her smile. I know she wishes to see me because I can hear her pleas.
Leena is my sun. She will always be my light. She always brings lights to me, even though I should be the one to give her light.
On the other side of Moondrous, I also saw Bryle looking up at the moon with a smile. He wishes to see me too. The feeling is mutual. I miss messing with Bryle even though he couldn’t see me before.
And in the other world, I also saw Alesia in our secret place. She was also looking up at the moon peacefully.
At the same time, Claire and Mirai were also looking up at the moon. I know they remember me when they look at the moon. Because when they met me, I was always looking at the moon every night.
I smiled warmly, and I made the moon glow more brightly, as if giving them a signal.
I motion my hand and then the stars also glow more. To add more effect, I made a few shooting stars. That brought a wide smile to their lips, and they made a wish together.
Afterward, I decided to come down and show myself to everybody. In just a blink, I stood not far away from Leena. And Leena’s eyes widened when she saw me walking toward her.
I smiled widely at her reaction.
“Luna?!” she blurted out in surprise while blinking multiple times in awe, like she couldn’t believe I was here.
“Oh, my god! Lunaaaaa!” she jumped happily and at the moment I stepped closer to her she hugged me so tight like there’s no tomorrow. I hug her tight with the same force—like a bone-crushing embrace.
Tears streamed down my face nonstop. We both cried in happiness. We stayed like that for an hour or so. I really miss her so much.
“Oh my god, I miss you so damn much! Please don’t be gone for too long again...” she said in between sobbing.
“I miss you too, and I promise I won’t leave you for too long again.” We released our hug and smiled sweetly at each other. I wiped her tears away.
She looked at me from head to toe. And her eyes widened as she had just realized something.
“Grandma Luna told the truth! You’re now a Goddess! Goodness! You are so stunning and intimidating!” she beamed, and I chuckled as a response.
“I am so happy for you... oh my god! My twin is a goddess!” Once again, she gave me a bone-crushing hug.
“Yeah, I also can’t believe that I am.”
We smiled softly at each other and held hands as we entered the palace.
And there, I saw my mother, the Queen, and my father, the King, with tears streaming down their faces.
“Luna?! My child!” they both uttered and rushed towards me with a smile.
They hugged me tightly like a bear finally found its missing cub. It’s a bone-crushing embrace and I can feel their longingness for me. Tears rolled down my face nonstop as they showered me with kisses.
I can finally hug them.
I can finally talk to them.
The happiness I felt can never be bought and exchanged for anything in the world.
Because I’m finally... home.
I’m home.
