Chapter 35: New Beginning
[Luna]
My chest aches to watch Luvian in agony. He lost so much power and energy, Luvian returned to his normal form. He inherited his father’s look, the only difference is that Luvian has a small horn on his forehead. It only seems to grow when he transforms into his demon king form.
It hurts to lose a parent that he didn't even see. I know the pain he feels.
I sighed. I approached him and stopped right in front of him. He looked at me with astonishment in his eyes.
"... Kill me now, Luna. I deserve to die because of the chaos I made and because of me, the whole Moondrous and the other world were ruined. Many died because of me… I deserve to die!" he said bitterly and full of remorse.
It seems that he has lost his will to live because of what happened.
I heaved a deep breath and sighed.
"It's not entirely your fault, Luvian," I said, and he was caught by surprise. He frowned. I gave him a faint smile and added, "I know there’s kindness left hidden deep within your heart. Even if you're the demon king—whose evil by nature—that doesn't mean you're bad. You are different, Luvian. That's because you're a half-Moondrousian, Luvian.”
Luvian was astonished and furrowed his eyebrows. "Demon King?"
"Yes, you are the new Demon King, Luvian. Since your mother is an Evilandian, and your father is a Moondrousian with the Lava ability. Hence, you got your father’s ability while you also got your mother's dark power ability. Thus, you are the first being mixed with Evilandian and Moondrousian blood. And your power is the strongest of all demons. Your immense anger awakened your hidden power of the demon king." I explained.
He didn’t utter a word. It seems he was still processing the information. It’s clear that he’s confused, but at the same time believes all the words I said.
"So Luvian, let's end the conflict between Evilandian and Moondrousian. Now that Allamadin is gone you are the new king of Evilandia. Let bygones be bygones and let's start a new beginning. Let’s build the new Moondrous World together with no bloodbath and everyone is united." I said.
He looked at me intently and sighed. "I'm also tired of the battle between our clans. Many have died and I don't want it to happen again. Now that I understand everything, let’s bury the past and start anew. We will bury everything that my father—Allamadin had done. However... I had one request, Luna." he said.
"But of course! I’ll grant your request to the best of my abilities."
He let out a deep sigh and looked at me with expectant eyes. "I… I want to know if... if my real father is still alive." His eyes speak volumes the way he said it. A pin drop of silence envelops us and the cold wind blows past in the depths of the night.
The wind whispers into my ears.
"Yes, your father is still alive… I suppose." I replied, and he inhaled sharply as he looked at me. I saw the excitement in his eyes.
Luvian's father is the older brother of my father. I was surprised at first but I felt ecstatic knowing we still have a relative. However, we haven’t seen Uncle Luca in a long time but I know up to this day that he is still looking for Luvian’s mother—Aviana. I still remember the young Leena talking to him about his lover named Aviana. He yearns for her and he will do everything to see her again. Because of his devoted love for Aviana, he did not marry anyone.
I wonder where Uncle Luca is now because it was ten years ago when we last saw him.
"W-Where is he?" he questioned.
I let out a deep sigh and I can tell he is nervous seeing my reaction. Before he could assume something, I spoke. "Ten years ago, he just disappeared into thin air, and we didn't see him anymore..." he gasps at what I said. I could see the disappointment on his face. "... He went looking for Aviana—your mother." I continued.
A faint smile plastered on his lips. Then a lone tear escaped from his eyes. Luvian is indeed vulnerable right now.
"He didn't stop looking for my mother..." he whispered softly as he bowed while wiping his tears with a small smile.
I patted his shoulder, and he looked up at me. I smiled and said, "Find him, cousin..."
The look on his face says it all, he was flabbergasted, with eyes widening in astonishment.
"Cousin?!" Luvian exclaimed in shock and I guess he couldn't believe the words I said.
"Yes, you are our cousin, Luvian. Your father is the older brother of our father. We used to hang out together when we were younger." Leena butted in and smiled at Luvian—who was still in disbelief.
Luvian shook his head. "I feel terrible right now... really really terrible..." he said with remorse in his voice.
I understand how he feels at the moment. He regrets being blinded by rage and not knowing the truth sooner.
He heaved a deep sigh. "I'm really sorry...for the damage I had done. My life isn’t enough payment to atone for my sins."
Leena looked at me, and I nodded. We stepped closer to him and smiled.
"It's okay, Luvian. We're here and I can bring it all back... so no need to worry." I said that made him sigh in relief. I know how remorseful he is for almost destroying the entire Moondrous and the other world.
I look up at the moon and the starry sky. The sun will rise soon. So I had to do what had to be done. I don't know but I'm on pins and needles, for I know something bad is going to happen to me.
Leena drags Luvian away from me. Luvian looked at me skeptically and wondered what we were doing.
I just smiled reassuringly at him and Leena—who was anxious.
I averted my gaze to Bryle and the others—who were wondering why Leena and Luvian walked away from me.
Before closing my eyes, I stole a glance at Bryle and gave him a gentle smile. Then I felt the flow of the wind change drastically. I floated upward, higher and higher from the ground until I could see the entire Moondrous World which had become flattened and destroyed. The damage is worse than I had imagined.
In a slow, swift motion, I swayed my hands in all directions and then cast a spell while I let my body go with the flow. The wind picks up harshly. My body and soul reconnected to all the elements. A vast magic circle appeared under my feet and the magic circle widened until it envelops the entire world.
I opened my right palm, and the 3 stones appeared, the clear crystal stone, the white stone, and the brown stone. Then, I opened my left palm while looking at Leena with a reassuring smile. She hesitated at first but gave in right away. She opened her palm. 3 stones appeared—a black stone, a red stone, and a blue stone. Then the stones made their way toward me and floated in my left palm.
To complete the ritual, I closed my eyes as I merged the stones in my hands to make them become one. It took five minutes to merge them. As I flutter my eyes, a big round rainbow stone appears before me as it glows brightly. For a moment, it dazzled me greatly.
Waving my hands, I threw the stone with full force into the air as it shines more brightly. Then I cast a light magic ball and aim it at the rainbow stone. Colorful and sparkling stardust spread throughout the entire world as well as the other dimension. I can feel the world rotating faster and faster as I also control the time and fate. I swayed my body along and did the same rhythmic while releasing my creation magic which I only used when needed in a time like this. However, I know I used too much power and spiritual energy this time, for I will bring back again the life of the earth and the life of the magic world. Of course, I know I have to pay the price later.
However, I don’t know what the consequences will be because I used 1000% of my power this time. It’s beyond my power limit or so I thought...
I can feel the aching and vibration in my whole body like I’m going to explode any time soon.
It's now begun...
The pain is unbearable and excruciating, but I endure it all for the sake of everyone. Tears streamed down my face nonstop and all my memories flashed before my eyes. It’s the sign to bid farewell to the world.
Before I exploded with the rainbow stone, I sent my loved ones a message through mind-link.
‘I love you, all…’
Sacrificing my life for the sake of all mankind is worth it. Somewhat, it makes me feel happy and complete for I find my true purpose. That is... to save the entire world. And I don’t regret a thing.

[Third Person POV]
Leena burst into tears when she heard her twin sister's voice in her head.
No!
She fell to her knees while tears streaming down her face nonstop and at the same time something exploded from above. They were blinded as white light covered the entire world.
At the same time, the sun rose and shone peacefully.
When everyone opened their eyes, they gasped at what they saw. The entire Moondrous World is back to its former beauty. It's lively and prosperous again. The trees and the plants look so refreshing. It is like a new paradise is born. The palace of the faraway kingdom is once again standing intact atop the entire central city and looks magnificent.
All the houses in the different towns are also back to normal like they were never destroyed in the first place. The dead magic users in the war were resurrected which made everyone feel grateful and teared up in joy. Everyone cheered because the war is over and the whole Moondrous is back to normal again.
In Enchantreia World, everyone couldn’t believe their eyes because they witnessed how their ruined world returned to its original color like nothing happened at all. All the magic users who died in the war are resurrected. The infrastructures are also back to normal and there is no trace of deterioration. Everyone cheered and thanked the gods. What happened just now is a miracle and mystery.
The same thing happened at Laikan World, everyone cheered in excitement and was thankful because the war finally ended. Everything is back to normal and their world is more vibrant than ever. What they are more grateful for is the resurrection of their loved one who died in the battle. However, it is still a mystery to them who restored the beauty of their world. Who is the god or goddess that saves their world?
Meanwhile, in Majika World, everyone can't believe that all of a sudden the war ended and a vast light enveloped their world, and all returned to normal. Even those who died in the battle were resurrected. They are very grateful for what happened. Although they are wondering who did it, they are still grateful with all their hearts.
While riding Armani, Mirai can’t help but wonder who restored their ruined world.
"Armani... who did this?" Mirai whispered.
Armani replied, "Only one person can restore the world..."
"Who?" Mirai asked excitedly.
"It’s Luna... as far as I know, she is endowed with the power of creation and universe. With the ability to restore the damaged..." Armani replied. Mirai gasped at what she found out. Just how powerful Luna is?
"Then I thank her wherever she is now. Thank you very much, Sister Luna..." Mirai said while looking up at the sky, smiling widely. She misses Luna, and she hoped that she was alright.
Meanwhile, in the world of mortals, everything is gradually returning to normal. Everything was restored the same as before like nothing happened at all. All the people have no memory of what happened because Luna erased their memories. It will forever remain a forgotten memory.
People go back to their old way of life unconsciously aware that they have had a terrible experience in their lives. Other people dream of what happened but it will only remain a nightmare.
However, in the world of Moondrous, contrary to the other world, everyone is grieving. Sorrow filled everyone’s heart of the loss of their savior and princess.
With Luna's disappearance, they couldn’t bring themselves to rejoice. For everyone knows that Luna sacrificed her life for everyone.
Queen Lumeena wept bitterly as King Edward comforted her while suppressing his emotion just to be strong for his wife and daughter. But deep inside, he is broken and his heart was torn into a million pieces.
Luvian felt bitter and had no choice but comforted Leena. He blames himself for what happened. It made him even more guilty because he was the reason why this had happened in the first place. Everyone should blame him and he will accept their wrath. He deserves a punishment.
"Luvian, how many times do we have to tell you that it’s not entirely your fault? You know the only thing you can do now is to prove to everyone that you're not really evil. That you're also a Moondrousian. Luna has only one request. That is to unite all Evilandian and Moondrousian. Don't worry because I'll talk to everyone… they will listen to me." Leena said while smiling bitterly.
Luvian sighed. "It's because of Luna that I've come to know the truth about my whole being. I promise I won't let her down with what she wants to do. I was also grateful to you, Leena." Luvian said—full of gratitude. Leena smiled and hugged him which stunned him.
Afterward, Leena introduces Luvian to her mother and father. At first, they were hesitant but when they found out that he was Luca's son; they accepted him wholeheartedly, especially since he was also a victim of a manipulative and evil Allamadin.
That same day, everyone agreed to accept the Evilandians under Luvian's leadership. It was all thanks to Leena that everything was made possible.
The people of Evilandia wholeheartedly accepted Luvian's decision. Because he is now the king of their clan. But, inevitably, other magic users will still shun them and still fear them. In truth, Evilandians are actually not evil. They were just led in the wrong direction and had bad leadership. They are actually the most understanding and kind creatures despite their ugly appearance.
Under Luvian’s leadership, he granted all evilandian to transform with human features except their horns. Without their scaly skin, they look actually decent.
Since all evilandians turned less scary, magic users agreed to allow Evilandians to study at Moondrous Academy and entered their kingdom. In return, magic users can also enter Evilandia.
Everything has returned to normal throughout the Moondrous World. It became united and more peaceful than ever was before. And they know this is the new beginning of their lives and they will still face many trials in the future.
Meanwhile, Leena was still affected by Luna’s disappearance. She felt empty and sad. Tears rolled down her face as her heart throbbed painfully while thinking about all her memories with Luna. Her face looked gloomy while staring at the starry night sky. The wind blows her long black hair. She is currently at the top of the hill where Luna and she always trained their skills. She is sitting on the top of a huge rock and with a brief movement, she will fall into the abyss. The valley is so dark, but she was not afraid of high places like this, after all, she would not die if she fell.
She was still hoping for Luna's return. She knew in her heart that Luna would come back. She could still feel her energy all over the place giving her warmth. Even the air she breathed reminded her of Luna. She felt like Luna was caressing her face gently. And the howl of the winds that brushes the trees sounds like a lullaby that Luna always hummed for her to sleep. Her heart filled with hope.
"Even if it takes a few years, Luna, we will still wait for you. I will wait for your return. I know this is not the end because this is just our new beginning..."
"... a new beginning that you are no longer an Invisible Princess." Leena smiled and the chilly wind blew which made her smile even more causing her to close her eyes gently.
Then she flutters her eyes and looks up to the moon with a gentle smile.
"Leena..." a soothing voice whispered that got her attention.
She smiled upon recognizing the voice. She stood up and faced the man who was smiling while looking at her as well with a warm smile. Their gazes met, and they smiled sweetly at each other.
"Joaquin..." she muttered.
