Chapter 3: The Legendary Snake (Part 1)
[Third Person POV]
People living in Sampa town are happy again. The curse of witches from black wizards finally lifted. Everyone is having fun and they are thankful for a girl named Luna. Fearing that the other witches would return, Luna cast a spell to protect the entire town against the black wizards.
Everyone witnessed Luna make protection barriers around the town. At first, the people were afraid of what Luna was doing. But Luna informed them what she did was for their safety. When Luna flew upward into the air, it amazed everyone. Luna doesn’t even use a wand like them. The Mages use a wand to unleash their abilities but with limitations because their body is weak. Too much power will kill them.
“Luna! Luna!”
Luna wandered around the entire town with Riget when someone called her. The young girl rushed to her and eventually smiled widely at her.
“Hi, Luna! I’m Mirai! Can I talk to you for a moment? Please?”
Luna hesitated but later on agreed. The young girl smiled broadly and pulled her somewhere. They came to a place with a lot of trees and flowers. In the middle of every tree, there are benches lined up. They sat on one bench.
“What are we going to talk about, Mirai?” Luna asked as she settled herself on the bench, smiling at Mirai.
“Hm, I just wanted to ask why you are not using a wand to release your mage?!” Mirai curiously asked.
Luna stared at Mirai. She’s thinking if she will spill some information. Mirai is just a kid, so there’s no harm in telling the kid about herself.
“I’ll tell you, Mirai, but don’t tell anyone what I’m about to tell you. Will you promise?” Luna said and the young girl exclaimed in joy, “I promise! Cross my heart!”
Luna smiled, then started explaining. “I’m not like you, Mirai...” Luna began as Mirai gasped.
“What? Then, what are you?” Mirai asked while creasing her forehead.
“The world I came from is called Moondrous World. The Gods and goddesses blessed all the beings with unique abilities. There are fire users, wind users, earth users, water users, mind reading, telepathy, teleportation, copying, metal, sound, and many more.” Luna explained and showed Mirai what she could do. She let out a small fire in her palm.
“Wow! It’s a fire!” Mirai blurted out in amazement as her eyes twinkled.
“But there is a limitation when using our ability too much. We can get killed when we use our power to the fullest.” Luna continued.
“What? It’s scary.” Mirai mumbled and gulped. Luna hummed.
“What can you do, Mirai?” Luna asked.
“I can move things and make a fire!” Mirai uttered while smiling widely. She took out her wand and tried to move the stone.
“Was the wand given to you?” Luna asked curiously. Mirai shook her head.
“No, Luna. When we are born, this wand will come out. Our lives depend on the wand. If it gets broken, we will die.”
Luna fell into deep thought. She didn’t think that there was a world that existed like Majika. She thought, ‘What is her role in this world? Why was she stranded in this world? How can she return to her world of origin?'

[Luna Syesha]
Five days had passed, but I still didn’t know how I could return home. I went back to the tree up in the mountain where I came out, but no matter what I did, the portal wouldn't open. I can create a portal using my power, but it doesn’t work and I don’t know why. It’s very impossible.
I went out of the house and found people who seemed to be in a hurry. The men are rehearsing with their swords and various kinds of combat weapons. Other citizens also practice with their wands and cast spells to bring out their power. I saw Mirai rehearsing as well.
“Mirai!” I called, and she turned to me.
“Luna!” she yelled and waved at me. I approached her.
“What’s going on? Why is everyone busy rehearsing?” I asked, but Mirai suddenly became sad.
“Well, everyone is rehearsing because of the war that is about to take place soon,” Mirai answered. What? War? My forehead creased.
“But how did you know?” I asked, frowning.
“Because of the prophecy book in the castle. Everyone was informed, so we didn’t miss the opportunity to practice. We must win this war because otherwise the Black Wizards will continue to lead the world of Majika and we will not allow that to happen.” I saw her fists clenched in anger. It was the first time I saw her get angry. I looked into her eyes and saw her painful past. Her parents were killed by those witches and witnessed by her. It was so tragic. So, this is where her anger came from. I can see her determination to win the fight. I saw in my vision that Mirai would play a big role in this world.
Mirai looked at me in surprise when I suddenly cast a spell and a book appeared in my hands. The Spell Book. I smiled and gave her the book.
“What’s this?” she asked, and her eyes widened when she saw the title of the book. “Spell Book?” I nodded.
“Yes, study that, and I’m sure you can learn a lot of techniques available there on how to use your power. Once you know how to do all the spells in the book, it will automatically disappear.” I said.
“Wow! Thanks, Luna! This is so cool!” she said happily and hugged me.
“It’s nothing, Mirai,” I said while smiling.
I left Mirai because she was already studying the spell book I gave her. As I was walking, I came across a stream. I smiled at what I saw because the water was clear. I sat on a big rock and looked out over the flowing water from above.
