Chapter Luna Of The 85
Chapter 85 yesterday.
HELGA TOOK A DEEP BREATTI and met her own gaze in the mirror. She had just finished tying approached her from behind and placed a hand on her shoulder Her heart raced with anticipation hes true identity to the rest of the pack, as she had promised herself when Siegren y, she would reveal "Are you okay? You don't need to push yourself too hard," he said softly, looking at her reflection. Helga shook her head and touched his hand before morning her head to face him properly
"I'm just nervous, that's all," she said, smiling to reassure him that she was fine, and she had no intention of backing out now. When she made a decision yesterday, she told herself that no matter what happened, she would come clean to the rest of the royal pack. Her refolve only strengthened when Sierra accepted her request to be her proxy during the visit of Narva's delegation
During their talk yesterday in Siegren's study, everything felt awkward. Not only did her husband struggle to have a friendly conversation, but Sierra also seemed distant and unfamiliar. However, despite that, they still managed to reconcile. Although it may take some time, Helga was confident that the siblings would repair their relationship, especially since they would be working together soon.
"Take your time, we can come out later," Siegren said as he massaged her sore shoulder. Slowly, Helga stood up from the vanity chair and shook her head. She was well aware that the other pack members had already gathered downstairs. After all, the Alpha King had used his mind link to summon everyone to the main palace hall-from young pups to elders. Of course, it made them alarmed and confused, wondering what was going on. Some feared there was a threat to their pack while others simply worried about what could be so urgent for the Alpha King to call for a meeting of the entire pack so suddenly. No, let's head outside. I'm sure everyone is already waiting and wondering why you've called them here. I don't want them to keep guessing." Helga said as she smiled, her body slightly tensed. But as soon as Siegren pulled her into a hug while rubbing her back soothingly, she couldn't help but feel the tension inside her body fade away instantly. Once again, he reassured her that he was always by her side, and everything would be okay.
With a deep breath, Helga mustered all the courage she had and gently pulled away from the hug. Her emerald eyes shone with determination as she nodded to Šiegren before taking his arm in hers and leading them out of the chambers. Every step she took felt heavier than the last, and it took great strength to stop herself from shaking. She could feel her heart
racing as they approached the bal overlooking the main hall, where a crowd of people awaited their arrival. Her mind couldn't help but race with thoughts.
How would they perceive her? Would their behavior towards her change! Would Portia. David, Lucian, and Sierra feel deceived for not revealing her true identity, despite their strong bond? How will they respond to this revelation? These thoughts flooded Helga's mind, making it difficult to concentrate on her breathing as they walked through the double doors and onto the spacious balcony.
She turned to Siegren, who leaned in to give her a quick kiss on the forehead. Her heart fluttered as she took a deep breath, trying to calm her nerves all over again. She then gazed down at the werewolves gathered before her, surprised by the number of pack members present. This was the first time she saw the entire royal pack in one place after all, "Greetings, Your Majesty the Alpha King and Queen Luna. May the Moon Goddess bless us with her light on this beautiful afternoon. everyone greeted in unison as they bowed their heads respectfully. The high-ranking members were in front, followed by each other until the rest followed right after, ending with only the omegas at the rear of the crowd. "Raise your heads," Siegren's voice resounded through the room, and everyone obeyed without hesitation. Helga's nerves were on edge once again, but she took a deep breath and composed herself, making sure she appeared confident and together. She stood tall, facing them with unwavering resolve, despite their curious stares that seemed to pierce through her every move

"To begin. I must apologize for the short notice announcement of this gathering, I am certain that it caught everyone off guard and caused some anxiety. But there is no need to worry; there is no emergency. It's simply that my mate, your Queen Luna, has something important she wishes to share with all of you." Siegren announced with his voice loud enough for everyone to hear and make them pay attention. No one dared to speak out, and instead, everyone seemed eager to listen and find out what was going on as they looked at Helga.

She swallowed hard, forking eyes with Portia who gave her a reuring nod even tho ne had no idea what was about to come out of her mouth. She forced a smile and took a deep breably before speaking, hoping her voice would remain steady.
"I know this was sudden, so I wanted to apologize for taking your time away from your busy day to attend this gathering." she began feeling Siegren's hand gently grasp hers and intertwine their fingers in a comforting gesture. It helped ease her nerves, giving her the courage to continue. Tm sure you all remember that I was once known as an orphan, and even though you all accepted me with open arms, I know there were still doubts about my past."
"I am grateful for the thought and care that you have shown me ever since I was crowned as your Queen and Luna. I owe all of you a great deal of thanks for accepting me without any hesitation. That is why I am standing here today, in front of all of you, to share something with you that I believe you deserve to know, I hope this truth will not change your opinion of me and you will understand why I kept it hidden until now." Helga's hand began to shake, and Siegren could feel the tension in her grip. He gently rubbed circles on her palm, trying to ease her nerves and offer his support. She looked at him anxiously, and he mouthed the word, "Everything's fine." where
A wave of relief washed over Helga, causing a small smile to creep onto her lips. She then turned her gaze back to the front everyone was eagerly waiting for her next words. Taking a moment to collect herself, she inhaled deeply, closed her eyes, and then opened them again before finally disclosing her true identity to the crowd below.
"The truth is I'm not a citizen of Verdentia. I was born in Narva, and I belonged to a fallen pack there." Helga spoke with confidence and clarity, immediately capturing the attention of everyone in the room, even though their faces were filled. with surprise and shock. "My real name is Helga Serkia, and I was a member of the Royal Blood Pack, the only daughter of the last Alpha King and Queen Luna of Narva."
