Roman glanced at Donny but didn’t say anything. He turned to Erin and said, “Silly girl, I don’t need you to deliberately flatter me. Feel free to ask me any questions about acting. Take care of yourself, or you can ask Ken to accompany you, okay?”
Erin lifted her white envelope bag from the sofa and said in a relaxed manner, “No need for that. I’m just buying a few skewers. Stay tuned for your lamb skewers!”
She had barely taken a few steps when she suddenly turned around and asked, “Roman, do you want your lamb skewers to be spicy?”
Erin’s serious expression made Roman want to laugh. After contemplating for two seconds, he replied, “Yes, make it spicy, please.”
As soon as she left, Donny couldn’t help but comment, “Mr. Blair, you really treat Miss Lane differently.”
Roman instantly retracted his gaze from the door as he said seriously, “Is that so?”
Donny nodded with understanding. “Just from the way you look at her-”
“Donny, let’s do the touch–up quickly and not keep the crew waiting for too long.”
Roman deliberately avoided the topic, and his old friend, Donny, understood that he didn’t want to discuss it anymore.
Donny earnestly began to touch up Roman’s makeup.
Half an hour later. Erin leisurely strolled along the snack street outside DragonSky Studios, observing the crowded stalls and shops on both sides of the street. Most of the people were from the film industry, including staff members, extras, and a small number of tourists visiting the studios.
Many people in costume were buying snacks, and one could easily feel the lively and cheerful atmosphere on the street. Erin was contemplating which barbecue store to choose.
At the same time, three men walked out from a relatively expensive specialty restaurant next to her. One of them, who was wearing a hat and a mask was Matthew. Their eyes met simultaneously. A flicker of surprise flashed in Matthew’s eyes, but quickly, they turned impassive as he walked past Erin without acknowledging her.
She swallowed back the words she wanted to say; she’d Intended to greet him. Ever since they parted on bad terms in the hotel room, they had run into each other twice on the set. All the while, Matthew had been wearing a sour expression and ignoring Erin.
He was no longer the boy who used to call her “Miss Erin” excitedly.
Erin sighed inwardly. Perhaps she had truly hurt Matthew’s self–esteem. She didn’t turn around but continued walking forward. After taking roughly a dozen steps, Matthew, who had returned, quickly walked toward her from behind.
Without saying a word, he grabbed Erin’s arm and pulled her along.
Erin turned to face him and saw his angry and handsome face as he removed his mask. She awkwardly leaned against the large tree and asked, “What do you want?”
Her confused expression angered Matthew, and he punched the tree in frustration. Erin’s heart skipped a beat, thinking he was going to hit her.
“Erin! You’re so stubborn! I’ve been waiting for you for several days and expected an apology from you. Why didn’t you come to find me?” he questioned.
Hearing his question, Erin furrowed her brows and asked in return, “Why should I apologize to you?”
Her lack of understanding instantly deflated Matthew. He let out a deep sigh and said, ‘Forget it. Let’s just pretend I didn’t say anything.”
All he wanted was for her to tell him in person that she was wrong, that she shouldn’t have rejected him, and that she would consider being with him and not dismiss him as a potential boyfriend because of their age difference.
“Matthew, as long as you’re willing, I’ll always be ‘Miss Erin‘ to you.” She could only say that much.
Matthew became enraged all of a sudden. “I don’t want that! Don’t you understand? I want you to be my girlfriend! My girlfriend, do you get it?”
He had heard about the rumors circulating on the set about Erin and Roman in the past few days. There were fans arguing online, with Roman’s fans mocking Matthew for being rejected by Erin and Matthew’s fans insulting Erin right away.

Erin’s usual silence left Matthew feeling powerless. Unwilling to admit defeat, he gave it another shot. “Erin, don’t think that just because I’m younger than you, I’m not qualified to be your boyfriend! Give me a chance, please?”
