Chapter 25
Someone adjusted the restroom’s temperature to the lowest, and cold air quickly filled the room.
Meanwhile, wastewater was still gushing out from the toilet. Seth was soaked all over, and he almost threw up from the disgusting smell.
He rushed to the sink, wanting to clean himself, but the water from the faucet was as red as blood. Then, the ceiling lights above him flickered all of a sudden, and a portrait of a bloodied woman with disheveled hair appeared in the mirror in front
of him.
“Ahh!” Seth was so startled that he fell to the ground.
He was freezing from the cold and was covered in nauseating wastewater. In the meantime, the woman in the mirror was still bleeding incessantly.
“Ahhhh!” Seth was so terrified that his knees buckled, and he could not get up from the ground.
At the same time, his stomach hurt like hell, and he was shivering from the cold. It was probably the scariest, most disgusting, and agonizing moment of his life.
He truly felt like dying instead of suffering from all that.
Concurrently, the witty Cayson put a maintenance sign in front of the restroom door and ran back into his room. “Mayson, how are things going?”
Mayson captured the embarrassing scenes of Seth in the restroom using surveillance cameras, including the interesting scenes in the banquet hall. He had recorded all of those on his computer.
Then, he compiled the videos and sent them to several media companies through email.
“Okay! All done!” exclaimed Mayson.
No one knew that the plan of sabotaging the event today was the scheme from the brothers, Mayson and Cayson.
For their mother, they would teach those arrogant people a lesson!
After getting a message on his smartwatch. Cayson put on his cap and said, “Mommy is already waiting for us downstairs. Hurry up, and let’s go!”
“Mm*
Next, Mayson packed up and left the room with his younger brother.
In the luxury car downstairs, Caroline saw her children running out of the hotel. Riley had already opened the car door for them to hop in.
After entering the vehicle, Cayson grinned and said. “Mommy, aren’t we awesome?”
“Of course! My two babies are the best!” Caroline smiled as she patted the duo on their heads.
Driving the car, Riley said smilingly. “The Lewis residence would be in trouble today. Since Mayson and Cayson planned it, they would absolutely have a hard time coming back from this!”
“That’s right! Their scandals will be revealed soon!” After Cayson finished speaking, he thought of something and asked, “Mommy, you told us you’d found our elder brother. Where is he?”
“He’s in the Ziegler residence.” She showed the picture of Leon on her phone to her sons, and they leaned over to look. “Wow, he looks so much like us!” commented Cayson.
“Not so much. It’s completely the same, remarked Mayson.
“Mommy, when can we meet him?” asked Cayson.
“We’ll have to wait for a while. After earning his trust, I will bring him to see you two. Trust me; you guys will reunite soon!” she reassured.
The two brothers nodded in excitement. Once the three brothers reunited, they would certainly be invincible.
Following that, Caroline chatted with her children along the way. Soon, Riley parked the car in front of a columbarium located west of Jipsdale.
“Ms. Lewis, we’re here!” After Riley got out of the car, he opened the car door for Caroline.
Then, Caroline stepped out with her children.
Looking up at the solemn entrance of the columbarium, Caroline took a deep breath. She was here for her mother’s ashes and tried to find a niche for it.
Back then, her mother had passed away two months after her accident. Therefore, Caroline did not receive any news

throughout the years and could not send her mother off one last time.
Harry was cold–blooded and did not even bother to get her mother a gravestone after she passed away. He merely left her ashes stored in the columbarium for five years.
Instead, they lived in the massive mansion and enjoyed their lives in luxury. Caroline was filled with hatred whenever she thought about that.
Cayson and Mayson were the first to run into the building to find their grandmother’s ashes.
“Mommy! We found it! Grammy is here!” The kids saw the picture on one of the niches and recognized Lydia.
Caroline and Riley walked over together.
When she saw her mother’s familiar black and white photo, she sniffled and cried.
“Mom, I’m back! I’m here to visit you! I’m sorry… I’m so sorry! It’s my fault that you were left alone here until now!” she lamented inwardly.
As Caroline inspected the urn on the inside, she unexpectedly noticed there was a small stalk of a fresh flower in the niche.
It was a lilac colored flower. Caroline recognized it was Jacaranda, her mother’s favorite flower.
Caroline picked it up and examined the jacaranda. It was fresh and was likely placed here not long ago.
“Who has visited my mother?” she asked, turning around to look at Riley.
“Could it be Mdm. Thompson’s friend?” Riley voiced out his guess.
“My mother’s friend? Who would that be? Who would know my mother loves Jacaranda?” she asked rhetorically.
After giving it some thought, Caroline still could not think of any clues, so she led the kids to visit her mother.
“Cayson, Mayson, quickly greet your granny!” she instructed.
Mayson nodded quietly, whereas Cayson yelled, “Granny, I’m Cayson, your grandson! Nice to meet you! This is my older brother, Mayson. He’s awful with words, so I’ll speak on his behalf! My brother and I are here to visit you!”
The original sorrowful atmosphere was lifted by Cayson’s witty speech.
Afterward, Caroline took her mother’s urn out and gently wiped away the dust with her sleeve. She said, “Mom, I’ve found a suitable place for you. I’ll bring you out of here today.”
Her eyes reddened as she held the urn in her arms. On the way out of the columbarium, she remained silent, and her children, too, stayed by her side quietly.
Only she could feel the immense sorrow and pain in her heart.
If the fire did not break out and she did not leave Jipsdale back then, perhaps her mother would still be alive.
“Mom, what exactly happened after I left? Who did this to you? Was it Melissa or Yvonne? No matter who it is, I will avenge you!” she vowed inwardly, her gaze turning frigid.
Riley drove the car in silence until they reached a place with vibrant scenery.
“Ms. Lewis, this is Yannopolis, the best location in Jipsdale according to geomancy. I’ve bought this place as per your order. Now, it belongs to Lucent Venture Capital,” he informed.
Caroline stepped out of the car and stood on an elevated surface. When she glanced at the sea of cherry blossom trees before her, she recalled her childhood.
Her mother had brought her and her twin younger brother here to have a picnic. Caroline had the best memories of this place as they took pictures, laughed together, and caught the butterflies under the falling petals.
She picked the best spot before saying, “Riley, have someone bury my mother here.”
“Yes, Ms. Lewis!” answered Riley.
Then, he phoned the workers to come to the place. They dug a tomb of a suitable size and placed a small coffin inside.
Caroline was going to take the urn, but Cayson helped to bring it out of kindness as he ran toward her.
When she saw her son about to slip and fall with the urn in his arms, she hastily shouted, “Be careful, Cayson!”
Alas, Cayson fell, and the urn dropped to the ground, causing ashes to spill all over the place. Looking at the spilled ashes, Cayson blanched instantly and thought, “Oh no! I’m doomed!”
