Chapter 19
Chapter 19
Miles picked up Alexia at once. "Make sure that you teach all of them a lesson," he said and left with Alexia.
Micheal nodded his head. He glanced over at Kayla and her friends. The guys who had tried to assault Alexia with Clinton had since gone quiet.
"You will all be going to the dungeon. You deserve to die for the things that you've done but you'll be locked up in the dungeon for now!" Micheal said.
He had no mercy for them. He had no idea how they'd bullied Alexia in the past but seeing what they did to her today, he knew that the bullying in the past must have been horrible.
All of them immediately panicked when they heard this..
"No! I don't want to go to the dungeon! I won't go to the dungeon! I didn't do anything wrong so why should I have to go there?!" Kayla yelled.
She knew that Miles and Micheal would punish her for what she did but she never expected that they would directly throw her into the dungeon.
"Seriously? You don't think that you did anything wrong? You've bullied your sister so much! You even had your friends beat her up and almost raped her. What else do you want to happen before you know tha you've done something wrong?" Micheal asked. He is more than glad that they had rejected Kayla as their mate. If such a person becomes Luna, she will bring destruction to the pack.
She is not fit to lead alongside them.
"My dad is the beta! Are you really going to throw me in jail knowing that my dad is the beta?!" Kayla asked. She was already at her wit's end so she brought her father up.
She really hoped that Micheal would let her go on account of her father but she was wrong. Really wrong.
"I don't care who your father is. You did something horrible to your sister and you deserve to be punished. And your father is the former beta. He's not our beta, so you can't use that to threaten me!" Micheal said.
Kayla's heart sank to her stomach when she heard this. Is her entire life really going to end like this?
Is she going to spend the rest of her life in the dungeon?
She gritted her teeth. Alexia! This is all Alexia's fault! She has to do all that she can to get rid of Alexia or else her name won't be Kayla!
Axiel had just finished a meeting with the elders when the bodyguard who was in charge of protecting his sister Acella came running to him. "What happened?" Axiel asked. Acella had some problems and she always needed someone to watch her unless she's going to go out of control. But Axiel is always busy with being the alpha and leading the pack so he didn't have the time to give her all the attention that he needed.
So he had a bodyguard whose only job is to look after Acella and make sure that she won't do anything stupid at all.
"Miss....Miss Acella..she's been inside all day. She hasn't even had breakfast. I thought...I thought that she just wanted to be
alone as usual but today is different. No matter what I say, she's refusing to open the door. I'm afraid she's going to hurt. herself" the bodyguard, Matthew, moved closer to Axiel and whispered this in his ear. There were only a few people who knew about Acella's condition. Everyone knows that she is quiet and she doesn't like to talk much but not everyone knows that she is a troubled girl who's always trying to hurt herself.
Axiel was angry when he heard that Acella had been locked up inside her room all day.
"What?! Do you mean to tell me that my sister has been inside her room all day?? What have you been doing?? Why didn't you tell me about this?? What the hell is wrong with you?! Your job is to guard her and make sure that she doesn't harm herself!" Axiel said. He knew that he isn't the best brother to Acella but he was really trying his best.
Ever since their parents died, the responsibility of being the alpha and taking care of a young girl who doesn't talk at all fell on him.
He didn't know how to juggle both and one side was meant to suffer more than the other side.
Acella was the one who had to suffer the lack of attention. He always tried to make it up to her but somehow, in his heart, he knows that it's not enough.
Matthew bowed his head. "I didn't want to disturb the meeting and that is why I didn't tell you anything. Why don't we go see her now?" Mathew asked. He was still whispering
Neither he nor Axiel wanted outsiders to find out about Acella's condition. Axiel knew that they were some elders who aren't happy with him being the alpha.
They will definitely try to use his sister's condition against him if they know about it.
He wasn't afraid of any one of them, but he didn't want Acella to be manipulated. She's already going through a lot on her
Own.
"You had better do a good job as her guard Mathew. Don't let this happen next time" Axiel said.
Matthew is one of the guards that he trusted the most and that is why he put him in charge of his sister. He really won't dare to change him out of the blue.
Axiel and Matthew arrived in front of Acella's room.
"Acella....Acella....." Axiel called out softly. He was really gentle, it was a different side from the part of him that he showed Nadia and all his other girlfriends. Mathew was already used to seeing the alpha who is always cold and ruthless being gentle to his sister so this no longer fazed him.
Axiel called a few more times but Acella never responded.
Axiel turned to Mathew. "Go get the keys from one of the guards," He said.
"Your Highness.....are you just going to enter her room?" Mathew asked.
Axiel looked at Mathew like he was crazy. "Of course. She's my sister. Why can't I enter her room?" He asked.
Well...you know..she's a female and you are...what if..."
"Just shut up and go get the keys!" Axiel barked.
Mathew blushed and immediately left to go get the keys.
Axiel rested his head in his palms. Ever since they lost their Parents, he took up the responsibility of taking care of his sister.
He found out that taking care of a teenager is way harder than being the alpha of the pack.
How his parents did it so well without breaking a sweat will forever be a mystery to him.
A few minutes later, Mathew was back with the key.
He handed it over to Axiel.
Axiel opened Acella's room and the both of them entered.
"Acella? Acella?" Axiel called out.
She wasn't in her bedroom so Axiel walked over to the bathroom.
Immediately he opened the door, he saw a figure soaking in the bathtub.
The soap suds covered her body but her fair hands and shoulders were exposed.
