Chapter 81 I trust our love
Rudrani:
I woke up and found me in Ashu's arms. He secured me so perfectly in his hug. His hug shows that he understood the pain of my heart but he's not ready to open up with me. I tried to get up and my nuptial chain stuck in his hand. Ashu opened his eyes and looked at me.
"My nuptial chain is in your hand," I said.
In this situation, my bonding with him is also in his hand. He can leave it or hold it. Ashu looked at the nuptial chain and he held it tight as if he read my mind.
"Stop thinking much. Don't strain yourself, Rudrani," Ashu said.
"Happy Anniversary," I said to which he smiled.
I got out of the bed to get ready and Ashu gave a sari to me.
"I bought it yesterday," Ashu said.
"I love you," I said trying to find out the truth in his eyes.
"Can you spend with me for the whole day?" I asked him.
"I have already told you that there's an important surgery today. I need to go," Ashu said.
I nodded and went to get ready. I prepared the breakfast and his favourite sweet. Ashu came downstairs and as he told me not to cook for him, I thought he would leave. "Ashu," I said.
"Aren't your questions finished in the night?" Ashu asked.
"Do you have time at least to have the sweet?"
Ashu looked at me for a few minutes. He remembered me my past Ashu for a while.
"Come here," Ashu said.
I went to him.
"Aren't you angry with me for talking that way with you in the night. If it's the past Rudrani, she would have left me by this time," Ashu said.
"Only if everything is same as before," I said.
If his parents are alive, even if I leave, that would be justified. But now in this present situation, I can't leave him for anything. I can't gift him the loneliness who is the reason behind me forgetting my loneliness. "Do you trust me or do you trust my words?" Ashu said.
"I trust our love, the bonding we created, the moments we shared," I said and Ashu cupped my face giving me a deep kiss.
"Actions speak better than words," Ashu said.
"It's very difficult for a wife to bear it to see her husband with another woman moving close. It needs maturity, lot of trust and unconditional love. I can't say anything now to you except that I am lucky to have you," Ashu said and hugged me. "I don't know why you are doing this, but I am with you in this," I said.
"I want you to be a wife who doubts her husband. I hope you got me," Ashu said.
I nodded understanding his words.
"So you want to see that possessive Rudrani one more time," I said and he smiled.
"As if you aren't now," Ashu said and I smiled as it's true that I am still possessive for him, but not insecure anymore.
"I will send you the address and you should come there by afternoon. I will be harsh but you...." Ashu stopped clutching his fist. I know he hates if I cry.
"It's okay. I can understand," I said.
"Riya asked me to meet her in a hotel room. So, I want you to be there to spoil the date with her," Ashu said.

"But why are you...?"
"Please Rudrani. I can't say anything now. It's not that I don't want to say but I can't say because I don't want to put your life in risk," Ashu said. I nodded.
"Have your breakfast and go," I said.
"Sure," Ashu said.
He had the breakfast but his face showed different emotions. Surely he was thinking about a serious issue.
"I want to tell you this," Ashu said and I looked at him.
"If you didn't agree to support me in this, it would have been very difficult for me as I can't see your tears," Ashu said.
I felt happy to know that my Ashu didn't change and will never change. Last night, his words had broken my heart but the love I have for him stopped me from leaving him. That's the best decision I have made ever.
"I really don't know whether I can be your past Ashu or not but I love you so much, Rudrani. If you too leaves me, I don't have a reason to live anymore," Ashu said in a choked tone and I hugged him.
"It's okay, Ashu. Unless your character and core nature changes, I will never leave you. I will bring back my Ashu in you who is cheerful and sweet after completing what you want to do. I am with you," I said and Ashu hugged me so tightly as if me going away would take his breath away. And I have decided that whatever it is, I would never leave my husband.
Ashu left to the hospital. I went after sometime and I saw Riya with Ashu moving closer. Though I trust him, still my heart couldn't bear him being close to some other girl avoiding me.
In the lunch hour, I got a message from Ashu which is a hotel address. I went there and opened the door of the room and was in shock seeing Ashu over Riya in the bed.
What the hell! I couldn't hold my tears but came out of my thoughts hearing the shouting of Ashu.
"How dare you to open the door without our permission? Are you spying at me, Rudrani? Why did you come here?" Ashu said.
I can see a kind of relaxation in his eyes.
"Why did you come here? Ashu already clarified you about our relationship. We are dating. Soon Ashu will marry me divorcing you?" Riya said.
"That will never happen," I said seriously.
"Do you still assume that Ashu is your husband? He deserves better than you. He is not a fool to waste his entire life with a ugly girl like you. I don't even like to see at you," Riya said moving her looks away from me.
I noticed Ashu clutching his fist and anger in his eyes. That's enough for me to understand that he will never cheat me.
"Get lost from me before I call the security to throw you out. It takes just a few seconds for me even to kill you if required to own Ashu," Riya said and Ashu lost his cool. Before he reacts I stood between them.
"What is this, Ashu? Why are you doing this? I know how much you love me," I said facing Ashu and stopped him from reacting.
"Go away from here, Rudrani. We will talk at home," Ashu said, closing his eyes.
What's wrong with Ashu? I can understand that he is holding deep pain inside his heart which I can realise through his looks and words. Who is this Riya? Why us he doing this? I didn't understand anything and Ashu signalled me not to go. "Can't you hear. Just leave," Ashu shouted, making me shiver.
"We should keep an end to this, Riya. I will teach her what's her place in my life after reaching home. I don't want you to lose your respect because of her stupidity. Let me take her to the home," Ashu said seriously. "But Ashu our plan," Riya tried to say something.
"I am all yours, Riya. We will plan our date again," Ashu said and held my hand dragging me to the car. We sat in the car and he drove it off as soon as possible. He is silent in the drive.
"Are you fine?" I asked patting on his hand.
"Yes but I should end this drama sooner. No wife could bear all this and definitely no woman could do what you did today. You are my life, Rudrani. Please forgive me for putting you in such a painful situation," Ashu said. "It's okay, Ashu. Without a correct reason, you won't be doing all this. Don't worry," I said.
