Chapter 56 Friendship that inspires
Rudrani:
I returned home without leaving any chance to Ashu to convince me. I was in balcony and heard his foot steps approaching me.
How can I explain him how much I love mom and dad? I have never seen the love of parents but after coming into this house, I experienced parents' love. I can't leave them. I love mom and dad a lot. "Rudrani," Ashu said turning me to face him.
"Sweet heart, I didn't mean to leave our parents. But the thing is we need some lone time. We should take our relationship forward and for that, spending more time with each other is necessary. We will stay in that house only for sometime. After that, we will return to our home," Ashu said slowly.
"No Ashu, I can't agree with you. I never felt them as my inlaws. I always felt the love of parents from them. I can't leave them. Ashu, I never understand why many sons want to leave his parents after marriage in the name of privacy? What happiness will you get in leaving parents? This is just ridiculous."
"Rudrani, you are not getting my point. We are not going away from them forever. It's just the matter of few months."
"I just don't like...."
Before I could say further, Ashu silenced me by putting his finger on my lips. I gave the same serious look to him. Ashu smiled and cupped my face.
"My dear angry bird, I love you for this. You are just amazing. Every time you mesmerizes me with his attitude. I am lucky to get a wife like you who loves my parents more than their son."
I was about to say something but this time he made me silent with his lips making me smile. I forgot my fight and the reason behind it.
He cupped my face again.
"My love, I decided to shift the house for you but when you don't like it, then I too don't like it. Because I love you."
I hugged him while he tugged my weavering hairs behind my ear. He hugged me making me feel all the warmth of flawless love that make me feel that he is just mine and I can share all my feelings with him.
In the night, we had dinner together with our parents. Next morning, I was in my cabin checking the case sheet of a patient and heard a knock on the door. "Yes, come in."
"Hi Rudrani," Sanjay greeted me with his pleasant smile.
"Hi Sanjay. What's up? How is everything going on?"
"Everything is going fantastic with my best friend's support as she taught me how to face the challenges of life."
"Enough Sanjay, stop praising me. I often doubt people who praise me a lot," I said smiling.
"It's not praise my dear friend. Without you, there is no Sanjay. You are the reason behind me being alive."
Just then I heard the sound of door opening. Ashu looked at both of us.
"I will come later. Just continue your conversation."

Ashu said faking smile and hiding his possessiveness.
"One minute, Ashu. Actually I came here to talk to you but not to Rudrani. I want to reveal the reason behind my suicide attempt."
"Ashu, please listen to him just for once. I am feeling guilty for hiding it from you as I don't like to hide anything from you," I said slowly trying to predict his reaction.
Ashu nodded and sat on the chair beside Sanjay.
"Tell me, Sanjay," Ashu said.
"Ashu, I attempted suicide because.... I am a gay," Sanjay said.
"What?" Ashu asked out of shock.
I didn't understand how to predict his reaction. I am sure he won't insult Sanjay and being a doctor, he will definitely understand his problem. But, what if Ashu thinks that I didn't reveal this to him because I didn't trust him?
"Yes. That's the reason I tried to end my life. I was so stressed that I can't even share this with my parents. If anyone comes to know this, they will make fun of me. My parents may feel that I am degrading their image in the society. So I decided to die before everyone comes to know this. But, Rudrani saved me," Sanjay said.
"Do you mean you shared this with Rudrani?" Ashu asked Sanjay.
"Yes! I trusted only her. I felt I can tell this to her because I am sure that Rudrani never hurts anyone and understands everyone so well.

Do you know Ashu how do majority of the people react wheb they see a gay? They treat them as an untouchable or the one who didn't deserve any respect. This is the reason behind few who marry a girl hiding that they are gay. They want respect and didn't want to get insulted by others. I don't understand why can't people understand that every human has right to live with dignity.
Rudrani understood me and my inferiority complex. She boosted my confidence and helped me to fight back with my life. She taught me the importance of life.
Rudrani explained me how people treat a person when he/she succeeds in life inspite of any sort of defects in him/her. She motivated me to challenge the problems of my life and work towards reaching my goal. She is a true friend who wish to see her friend in a good position and inspired me to live life with more confidence.
Now I am confident and want to live my life with zeal. It's all because of her," Sanjay said.
Ashu looked at me.
"Okay Ashu, I never disturb you both again. I hope all the misunderstandings betwen you both created because of me were cleared. Thank you, Rudrani. Bye," Sanjay said.
I tried to speak but stopped as I don't want to hurt Ashu.
"Sanjay, wait!"
Ashu said stopping Sanjay.
"Sanjay, I have no objection for your friendship with my life. Not before, not now and not in future too. I am just insecured in the past assuming that my wife may be in love with you and hates me. But she clarified all my doubts by confessing that her love is only for her husband."
Ashu smiled looking at me to which I blushed and lowered my eyes. This Ashu can make me blush just with a word.
"Sanjay, I am matured enough to understand your friendship with my love. I trust my wife in the same way I trust my mom. I know her love is all mine and nothing can separate her from me. I am happy to know that she saved your life by inspiring you and understood the issue well. I will be more happy if you both continue your friendship forever."
"Thank you so much, Ashu," Sanjay said.
