Love that heals

Chapter 44 Her ways to solve her problem

Ashutosh:

I asked Rudrani to give up her goal for me and she was shocked. Her eyes shed tears and she looked cute. Her nose became red and cute. I felt to pull her into my arms, wipe her tears and kiss her till she smiles. I clutched my fist to control myself. I am sorry, my baby. I didn't want you to choose breaking this relationship for every reason. You should learn to love your husband.

Rudrani left the cabin. I took money and kept it in an envelop. I wrote letter encouraging her and knocked the door of her cabin. I hid myself from her. Rudrani smiled happily reading the inspiring words from her pen friend. I am relaxed as she will clear her fees now. But, shocking me, Rudrani didn't accept the money though I told her to repay me later in installments.

Her letter proved her innocense, purity and beautiful heart. She said she can't take money as I refused to help her and she didn't want to prove that she can solve her problem without my help. I am sure she can help herself and my support is not necessary but still she gave that value to me.

The way she valued friendship and her husband amazed me. She is perfect. I am sure that she will take a decision only after much thinking. There might be some reason behind her decision to leave to Sanjay's home too. I felt proud and happy for getting such a wonderful wife who is selfless, pure and clear with her decisions. She never change her decisions. I love it though it hurts me sometimes.

Rudrani gave a surprise to me by returning to me just within a month. I kept a new condition to relax her. Rudrani is in the final year of Medicine and need to spend many hours for study. I asked her to stay as a guest and not to do any household chores which were usually done by her such as cooking and other works related to me. I want her to be free from every work. I already told this to mom and dad, so they were calm while I said the conditions to my beloved wife. She agreed to my conditions and went to her room. After one hour I heard a knock on my room door. I opened the door and Rudrani stood there.

"What?"

"I want to talk to you just for five minutes," She said and I asked her to come in.

"Ashu, if you really think that being independent and educated making me to neglect you, I am ready to accept your condition," she said.

"Which condition?"

"Giving up my dream," She said.

Is this girl mad? For her friend, she fought with me and now she is giving up her goal for me. I don't know how will I bear this girl throughout my life without getting admitted in mental hospital. God, please show some mercy on me. "Good," I replied with frustration.

"But Ashu, I am talking about temporarily giving up on my career. It will be a pause but not the end. Within one year, I will prove you that I can be a wife of your dreams. I will show how well I can manage my home and career but not without your support. The support of a husband plays key role in the life of a wife while handling the family. Without your support, I can't handle our family alone. After making you understand that I can do well my duties as a wife and daughter in law, I will resume my studies," Rudrani said.

So, she want to sacrifice one precious year of her life for me. But, I am not a stupid husband. Seeing her as a doctor is not only her dream but my goal too. I want to see her as a famous cardiothoracic surgeon.

"I believe a woman can do anything and handling both family and career is not a big deal. I have seen my mom already who is perfect in handling both. The only problem here is I won't pay your fees unless you ask me as my wife. I think you know how to ask husband for something as a wife. Try it," I said smirking and smiling naughtily inwardly.

I love to see how my wife goes romantic now.

"Don't pay, Ashu. As an employee I asked for advance salary that too as I can repay. But as your wife, I am not going to ask anything from you because still you are a student. You are not earning to pay my fees by yourself. It's your parents money, Ashu on which you have no right," Rudrani said.

For a second, I was shocked. I never thought in this way.

"Ashu, I don't know whether you know it or not. Dad gave an ATM card to me by depositing five lakhs on my name after our marriage saying that daughter in law of this house should never suffer for money. If I want, I can withdraw that but I don't want to withdraw the money. I requested my principal madam and she asked me to work as a tutor to her daughter who was preparing for the National level Medical entrance test as I topped in the test earlier. I agreed for that and she will clear the fees. I am resigning the job in our hospital as I can't handle both. I just want your acceptance not money."

How can she be this confident and independent. People like me depend for finances on the family but say they are independent. But, Rudrani is really an self dependent girl. You are a surprise to me forever. If I didn't decide to make you understand my pain when you broken my trust by lying and prioritizing Sanjay over me, I would have saluted you by now. I love you, sweetheart.

"Fine, you can continue your education but I will sanction the advance salary. You no need to quit the job," I said.

"Sorry Ashu, I promised principal madam that I will work as a tutor to her daughter," she replied.

"So you are going to deny my words again, let me see," I said seriously.

"No Ashu but," Rudrani tried to explain.

"Let me see how will you quit the job in our hospital," I said. "Ashu, I can't handle both the jobs along with my studies." "You must work in our hospital, that's my decision."

She looked at me with a pleading look but I didn't speak.

"Okay," she said and left the room.

I smirked planning something in my mind. My dear darling, wait to see more of my stupidity. If you didn't work in our hospital, how can I inspire you through letters whenever anyone hurts you? You won't share your problems with me but you trust your pen friend to confess your issues. So, I can't miss this chance.
