Love Is Colder than Death

Chapter 5 Being Framed

"If you wanna mention the concept "first come first served", I'm also the one for him!"

Phoenix held her rage back and tried to reply calmly, "It has always been me that has been keeping Mohan accompany. I'm always by his side--there were so many dangers and risks on his way to be enthroned--I helped him to get over all of these!"

"And at that time..." She pointed at Snow, roaring, "Where were you three hundred years ago? You were busy bothering my fifth brother! Your father was determined to curry favor with we Celestial people, he's even willing to send his daughter you to be one of the concubines of my brother's. But his plan failed plus Jun Mohan became the new Fair Emperor so you changed your target, am I right?"

Phoenix somewhat felt a little bit pity for that Jun Mohan back at that time for he was the prince of the Fair Land, which was a status qualified enough to marry a West Sea princess.

She also remembered that the rumor going like that Snow was having a relationship with her fifth brother had spread all these six Lands back then. Of course, Snow almost joined his huge concubine group.

Profits from their relationship with the Celestial royal family were far more essential than what a simple prince from the Fair Land could offer.

"So you hurt Jun Mohan's heart out of this reason, right? I don't care what relationship did you have in the past. I just hate, hate I haven't met him before you."

"Ha, ha. For what it's worth, who Jun Mohan loves is ME, not YOU."

"Does Jun Mohan knows who you really are?"

"You bitch--"

"Slap!" Phoenix raised her hand and slapped Snow on the cheek. She never expected that Phoenix would beat her so she stood there stuck.

After a few seconds, she finally came to herself and screamed, "What! You just slapped me!?"

No one dared to rough up her all her life except just now. Snow turned crazy and rushed forward to drag Phoenix from her chair, pulled her hair, and took one of her hairpins to threaten her. "I'm gonna kill you!"

Phoenix did not have any magic power right now that she couldn't compete with her. The hairpin was about to cut her face...

She closed her eyes after seeing the hairpin was only one inch away.

However, Snow suddenly stopped and smiled wickedly, "I have told you, you can't win me..."

For an instant, she stabbed the hairpin into her chest. Blood overflowed all over her shirt. Before Phoenix realized what had happened, she was already lying on the floor.

"No! No! Please let me go! Please! Mohan and I are truly in love with each other! No! Do not destroy my primordial spirit! I'll die! Mohan! Mohan! Help! Mohan, where are you... Mohan..." "..." Phoenix was stuck, she looked at Snow shouting loudly, whose sneer occupied her mind.

Damn! This was strick!

Well! Jun Mohan might be on his way here so that Snow seized this opportunity to frame her when she couldn't exert any magic power right now.

"Your Highness--"

"Bang!" The door was propped open. Sparrow rushed into the hall and was shocked by the scene.

Instantly, a white figure flashed in, then Phoenix was hit at the stomach that she flew away like a hit baseball, fell hard onto the floor, and spat some blood in great pain.

What she could hear were Sparrow's weeping and that man's roaring-- "Phoenix! I have already warned you! How dare you harm Snow like this!"

Phoenix could hardly sit up. Her face was green around the gills, on which streams of sweat fell down from her cheeks. She held her abdomen in agony, her eyes gave a blank and desperation look.

As for Snow, she was leaning in Jun Muhan's arms. Blood was on her panic-stricken face, which looked very miserable.

"Mohan, I'm dying..." Snow closed her eyes and winced in pain.

"My Seven... Be a good girl, calm down, you're not going to die." Jun Mohan lightly cuddled the woman in his arms. Both of his expression and voice were unusually soft and gentle. Seven, calm down...

Phoenix took a quick glimpse at Jun Mohan, but she only met the man's raven dark pupils.

He stared back at hers. There was not a sign of tenderness in his eyes. He was scanning her coldly as if he was scolding and warning her.

Ha, ha... She just overestimated herself, his calling of "Seven" was by no means for her.
