Once out of the mall, Eloise Thompson spoke up and asked, "What are you doing here?"

"Called you, but you didn't answer, then asked the driver."

At that, Eloise Thompson took out her phone and looked at it, realising that there had indeed been a call from Hector Rogers a few minutes ago, but she was probably shopping at the mall at the time and hadn't seen it. "What did you buy?"

"Just shopped around and bought a suit." Eloise Thompson opened her mouth in response.

"Yes! Daddy, Auntie Eloise and I bought a parent-child outfit, and I had my eye on a tie Auntie Eloise wanted to buy for Daddy, but that Auntie Woo Bad just snatched it away."

Hector Rogers raised his eyebrows slightly at this as he turned his attention to Eloise Thompson.

"You want to buy something for me, huh?"

Eloise Thompson spoke with a slightly embarrassed look, "Just saw it in passing and then thought I'd buy it."

Hector Rogers looked in a good mood with a slight curve of his mouth, and the trio then found a nearby restaurant for dinner before strolling home.

The following day, Eloise Thompson stayed at home with Solomon, who was almost healed, so by lunchtime Eloise Thompson was cooking and planning to fix something to eat, with Solomon helping Eloise Thompson in the kitchen.

"Wow, so the rumor that Mr Hector has a crush on someone turns out to be true! I always thought she and Reeva were a couple!"

"Who isn't! I all thought Reeva would be the young lady of the Rogers Group before, but now ... tsk tsk."

Reeva Lawson returned from a trip to the coffee and water room and heard the chatter, her steps standing in the doorway freezing in place.

Hector Rogers actually admits that Eloise Thompson is her fiancée?

It was always assumed that Reeva Lawson was engaged to Hector Rogers and that she was his fiancée, but now... isn't this an embarrassment to Reeva Lawson?

Reeva Lawson clutched her hands tightly, jealousy and resentment flooding her heart.

Just then, the lift doors were opened and Eloise Thompson stepped out, leading Solomon by the hand. The pair headed straight for the president's office, passing Reeva Lawson, and Eloise Thompson blushed slightly.

"Is Miss Eloise almost healed from her injuries? I'm so sorry, I wanted to make time to visit you again in the last few days, but I never got around to it."

Reeva Lawson spoke unhurriedly, by now she had gathered herself, her face as elegant and dignified as ever.

"Miss Reeva don't worry, there's nothing more to me." Eloise Thompson spoke lightly, seemingly not wanting to interact much with Reeva Lawson.

When she had finished, the assistant came out and led her and Solomon into the office.

With that, Reeva Lawson watched as Eloise Thompson walked into the office, but could do nothing to stop it.

Hector Rogers has been very cold to himself these days because of the car accident, and Reeva Lawson has heard that Eloise Thompson has moved into Hector Rogers' home.

In the face of all this, Reeva Lawson was jealous and wanted to cut Eloise Thompson into pieces, but could do nothing but watch.

The office door was abuzz again when Eloise Thompson walked in with the young Prince of the Rogers family in tow.

"Wow, is that woman the one the president likes? The aura looks good on her!"

"Yes, yes! And the little young master looks so well behaved with her holding him!"

"She's here to bring the president a meal, isn't she! So envious!"

There was a lot of chatter in the secretarial department.

Reeva Lawson was furious when she heard these comments, she is Eloise Thompson, a woman who has given birth to a child, who is she!

Inside the office, as Solomon had said, Hector Rogers was happy to eat the meal cooked by Eloise Thompson, a normally high-strung face now wearing a faint smile.

After the meal Eloise Thompson didn't bother Hector Rogers any further with his work and left with Solomon.

Reeva Lawson arrived at Hector Rogers' office near the end of the day to report on her work.

Before leaving, I watched the faint look on Hector Rogers' face, as if he didn't want to talk to himself any more about anything other than his work.

Reeva Lawson's eyes flashed a little lower and she couldn't help but ask, "Hector, do you really hate me?"

She thought that they had grown up together as childhood friends, that Hector Rogers had helped herself before, and that Reeva Lawson felt that she had always been special to him, but now Reeva Lawson is beginning to realise that it was all in her head......

He was kind to her purely on account of the friendship between the two families, and to Eloise Thompson that was truly special.

"No." Hector Rogers spoke faintly.

At these words, a smile finally flashed across Reeva Lawson's face; in any case, it was good that he didn't hate her, but then Hector Rogers spoke again, "By the way, you've been studying at Rogers Group for a while, so you can basically take charge of the projects now. You should be able to take over from there."

What Hector Rogers is saying is that Reeva Lawson can leave the Rogers Group and return to the Lawson Group.
