Love Comes To Me

Chapter 194: What kind of person is so dignified

On the field, many guests were saying goodbye to Grandpa Fletcher.

Hector Rogers, along with Hector Rogers' parents, Rupert Rogers, and Solomon were all in attendance as Matriarch Rogers looked around the party and spoke complimentingly, "Dad, who did you get to plan this birthday party, it was really well planned!"

"Yeah, yeah! I'm really quite good." Rupert Rogers followed suit and spoke up in praise.

But the thought still crossed my mind that it would be better if I let my sister-in-law plan it.

At this, Grandpa Fletcher ha, ha, ha, laughed.

"You'll find out later."

Then came the Lawson family, Reeva Lawson dressed up in exquisite splendour, looking elegant and dignified like a princess.

After following her parents up to the invitation and saying hello, Reeva Lawson spoke, "Happy birthday Grandpa Fletcher, may you be blessed with a long life."

"Thank you Reeva, I haven't seen you for a few years, you little girl has grown up to be a better looking girl." The old man spoke with a smile.

Reeva Lawson smiled back and spoke with grace and dignity, "The same goes for you, Grandpa! Still so young after all these years." "You're still so good at talking, you girl."

Grandpa Fletcher laughed at the compliment and the two families chatted for a while, with Reeva Lawson standing by to help greet the guests.

Matriarch Rogers was so impressed that he took Grandpa Fletcher's hand and said, "Dad, I told you, Reeva is such a good kid, she and Hector are a perfect match, it's a shame..."

Matriarch Rogers was sorry to think that Hector Rogers didn't get to be with Reeva Lawson but with Eloise Thompson, and she couldn't help but sigh.

Grandpa Fletcher, who liked Reeva Lawson but respected his grandson's choice, remembered this and asked Hector Rogers, "Didn't you say you were going to bring me that little girl you liked today and she hasn't arrived yet? "Grandpa, something came up and she couldn't make it." Hector Rogers pursed his lips and spoke in reply.

At this, Grandpa Fletcher frowned slightly, but said nothing.

...

"

Here, Eloise Thompson was following the address and had just arrived at the hotel to leave it. She didn't have any expensive congratulatory gifts with her, just a pair of antique paintings from an antique shop, which she couldn't afford after all, but Eloise Thompson believed that the old man wouldn't care about that, so it was good that the thought was there.

After walking upstairs, Eloise Thompson was stopped by the waiter at the door.

"Excuse me, young lady, please show your invitation."

Eloise Thompson didn't have an invitation either, so just spoke up, "I was invited by Grandpa Fletcher, sorry, could you please go and give a briefing."

The waiter raised his eyebrows slightly. To be invited by Grandpa Fletcher himself, his status must be extraordinary, so he hurried in to inform him.

Grandpa Fletcher was receiving guests when the waiter came over and spoke, "Mr Fletcher, there's a girl without an invitation, but says you invited her and she's at the door now!"

As soon as Grandpa Fletcher heard, he knew it was Eloise Thompson and his expression couldn't have been happier.

"Hurry up and invite in."

Matriarch Rogers spoke up from the sidelines in some confusion and asked, "Dad, who is it?"

"Did you just ask who planned my birthday party? It's not coming."

Having said that, Grandpa Fletcher greeted the guests in front of him and then went straight out to greet them himself.

The crowd saw this and followed in confusion, with Rupert Rogers muttering under his breath, "What a man to be so dignified."

Everyone was curious as to who it was when the old man went out to greet him personally.

Eloise Thompson waited outside and surveyed the surroundings, she couldn't help but be a little curious as to what this Grandpa Fletcher was all about, after all, all the people who had just walked in were people of extraordinary status. As he was wondering, Eloise Thompson saw a group of people walk out, first Grandpa Fletcher, then Hector Rogers, Rupert Rogers ... a bunch of familiar faces.

For a moment, Eloise Thompson was simply dumbfounded and thought she was hallucinating.

The rest of the group were stunned to see Eloise Thompson in the doorway, and Rupert Rogers was so excited he almost shouted out to his sister-in-law. What the hell is going on here, and why is Eloise Thompson here?

Everyone was a little confused, except Grandpa Fletcher who was very excited.

"Miss Eloise, you're finally here."

Eloise Thompson was embarrassed for a moment, not yet reacting to what this was about, and could only respond with a smile, "Grandpa Fletcher." Watching Grandpa Fletcher's attitude towards Eloise Thompson, Matriarch Rogers frowned, Hector Rogers and Rupert Rogers were amazed.

Grandpa Fletcher hadn't even noticed the change in the crowd's expressions and was busy introducing both sides.

"This is the little girl who planned my birthday party, named Eloise Thompson."

He then introduced Hector Rogers to Eloise Thompson: "I'm the grandson I told you about, Hector Rogers, handsome isn't he?"

Eloise Thompson was dismayed, at first thinking that the Rogers family had only been invited to the party, after all, this Grandpa Fletcher looked like a very unusual person, and it was not surprising that the Rogers family had been invited. But when she heard Grandpa Fletcher's introduction, it finally dawned on her that the grandson he'd been talking about all day was Hector Rogers!

Grandpa Fletcher is the grandfather of Hector Rogers, and it's a small world for Eloise Thompson to be in.

Eloise Thompson was just about to say something when Solomon appeared, and as soon as he saw Eloise Thompson, the little guy was so excited. "Auntie Eloise!"

Solomon pounced straight away and clutched Eloise Thompson's thighs.

It was Grandpa Fletcher's turn to be dismayed, and he froze and asked, "You know each other?"

Eloise Thompson nodded awkwardly, put her arm around Solomon and spoke, "Yes, acquaintance."

Solomon couldn't have looked happier, "Daddy, you're lying, I thought you told me that Auntie Eloise wasn't coming."

How could Hector Rogers have imagined that Eloise Thompson would know the old man and that they would be on such good terms, so it was Eloise Thompson who Grandpa Fletcher had been talking about introducing to him? For a moment, Hector Rogers' expression became a little odd.

Grandpa Fletcher looked at him, then at Eloise Thompson, and after a long moment it came back to him that, hard to believe, this was the man his grandson liked?

And looking at the wrinkled brows of Solomon so fond of Eloise Thompson and Matriarch Rogers, Grandpa Fletcher was sure of himself right then and there.

It's amazing how coincidental things can be in this world. Thinking about it, the old man immediately smiled and dragged Eloise Thompson into the party. "Go go go, don't stand here, have fun at Grandpa's birthday party tonight."

"Okay, Grandpa." Eloise Thompson spoke with a smile on her face in response.

Mentally, however, he couldn't help but sigh, not expecting to meet Hector Rogers and the Rogers family in this way.
