Chapter Elion Chose To Protect Liza And Not Ella
"Ella?" Elion called out as if he was confused if it was actually Ella.
"Master Elion, did my husband sell me to you as a wife? How can he do such a despicable thing? Am I really that irritating? I had no idea he hated me that much to sell me to someone like you." Ella lamented in disbelief.
Elion opened his mouth to speak but didn't know what to say. He opened his mouth again but Ella looked at the shattered cup on the floor and suddenly ran away and returned with a dustpan and carefully gathered the pieces of the broken cup. As soon as she gathered everything, she stood up and left without looking back. After returning to the back corridor, she was very restless. She didn't believe what she just heard. Elions' voice kept ringing over and over in her head. "Henry, and my dad, are the only ones that know I am married. Right now, I am telling you now so you know as well. Ella doesn't even know that she's my wife and I haven't been able to bring myself to tell her." These words kept ringing in her mind and tears ran down her cheeks uncontrollably.
The next day, Ella acted as if she knew nothing and did her chores as usual before leaving for work. When she was done cleaning at the company, as usual, she freshened up in one of the baths in the company and as usual, she made a cup of coffee for Elion and took it into his office. When she handed him the coffee, she stood beside him and took a deep breath before speaking up. "Master Elion, please there's something that has been bothering me for a while now and I wish to share it with you."
Elion smiled to her amazement and placed his back on the chair rest before responding.
"Take a seat so we can talk." Master Elion, I prefer standing up.
Feeling disappointed, Elion nodded a go ahead and she spoke very calmly but every word was embodied by fear.
"Master Elion, thank you for granting me an audience. Sir, I have something that has been bothering me for a very long time. Actually, I have a strong feeling that Liza didn't undergo any kidney transplant."
"Can you repeat what you just said?" Elion requested in boiling anger.
"Master Elion, I have a strong feeling that she didn't have a kidney transplant..." Ella was still talking when Elion poured the hot coffee on her hand causing it to burn instantly. Ella held her hand and cried out in pain. Just then, Liza bounced in and seeing Ella being pinned to the wall by Elion, the joy in her heart was unspeakable.
"How dare you Ella. Who do you think you are to try to spoil my relationship? Are you mad, how dare you?" Elion asked all the questions at once leaving no room for Ella to respond.
"Ella, how dare you make Master Elion angry? Who do you think you are?"
Liza intervened without even knowing what had transpired.
That evening, Elion left the company fuming in anger, he dragged Ella down stairs not minding her wounding her legs from constant falls. As soon as they got close to the car, Liza ran to the front seat and opened the boot and Elion t pushed Ella into the boot like a log of wood and got into the car. Henry sped up as soon as Liza got into the backseat with Elion.
When they got home, seeing that Elion had burnt Ella's hand, she conceived a very wicked idea. Liza ordered one of the chefs to heat oil. When the chef brought the oil, she commanded some guards to hold Ella and she dipped the already half burnt hand into the oil. Ella cried out like a woman in labour because the pains were unbearable. She looked at Elion and cried out for help. "Master Elion, please help me, please stop her, I will die soon if she continues. Please sir, it hurts. Please help me. Please sir help me.
