Love Began with the First Meeting

Chapter 954 Extra Story 92 Of Aaron The Banquet

'This woman really is annoying. Doesn't she know that touching a man's body like this will light a fire in him?'

Suddenly, something crossed his mind. He frowned and asked in a cold voice, "Do you change clothes for other men like this?"

"Occasionally..." Ximena answered, absent-mindedly. All her attention was on the suit on Aaron's body. She had not expected that he would cooperate with her without the least bit of resistance.

Aaron's face was immediately covered by a layer of gloomy haze. "Never do that again!" he ordered.

"Hmm... Huh?" Ximena stopped what she was doing and looked at Aaron in confusion. When she saw the haze on his face, she smiled slightly and said, "That was in the past. I don't need to do that anymore. My people would do it for me." Hearing that, the cold look on Aaron's face softened a little. At the same time, Ximena had finished buttoning up his suit.

"This is great!" she said, looking quite satisfied with her own work. "You look perfect in this!"

Aaron's strong body came with wide shoulders and narrows hips, which formed a reverse triangle. His perfect figure could compare with top male models of the world. He had wheat color skin, which was neither too fair nor too dark. It was the sexiest skin color. And now, in the suit made by Ximena, he looked more attractive and stylishly evil.

Ximena looked at him with her increasingly blurry eyes. He looked so fascinating and handsome. She could not help but be enchanted by him once again.

But Aaron felt that Ximena was no longer as excited as she had been a moment ago. Her eyes gradually turned dark, but it didn't seem like she was unsatisfied with him or the suit. Instead, it was like she was resisting some sort of emotion in her heart. "Don't I look good?" Aaron asked her.

"Of course you do..." she answered by instinct, coming to herself abruptly. She tried hard to put a restraint on her fear that she would lose everything in the end. She decided to shift the topic of conversation. Pointing to the other model hanger, she said, "That will be my dress for the evening."

Aaron turned towards the direction she was pointing. It was a silver gray close-fitting long halterneck dress. He was a bit surprised because her dress was plain grey with no other color, except the Swarovski crystal inlaid around the halterneck, while his suit abandoned the single color style he always preferred.

He was able to imagine how noble and graceful Ximena would look in that dress as she stood by his side that evening. Along with him, she would become a focus among the attendees too.

"I think it would suit you very well," Aaron said, unstintingly generous with his compliment, which was not at all like him. He turned to look at Ximena.

"I haven't bought the appropriate shoes to go with the dress. I'm planning to go look for a pair this afternoon," Ximena said with a charming smile, which she rarely wore.

"I will have someone send a pair of shoes here," Aaron said as he turned to leave. "Let's go eat. I have another meeting after lunch."

Ximena was wild with joy since she had achieved her aim of getting the shoes from him as a gift. Although she was plain aware that Aaron could see right through her, she had taken a liking towards acting coquettishly in front of him.

The two of them walked out of her shop hand in hand, and then got into the car which was waiting for them by the side of the road. Ken started the car, and headed to the restaurant.

Meanwhile, a car was stealthily parked in the opposite side of the road. The man sitting in the back seat had his eyes fixed on Ximena's fashion design shop. He watched Ximena get into Aaron's car with so much joy on her face. As the car drove away, his driver said slowly, "It looks like she doesn't care about it, does she? She struggled in the beginning, but has been at ease for the past few days."

The man in the backseat smiled and lowered his head; his eyes were hidden by his bucket hat. "If she is able to be so indifferent after finding out the truth, then I have to say, our organization would better not attempt to create any more trouble for Aaron." The driver chuckled lightly. Without another word, he started the car and left.

Time slid at its usual pace. It was finally the evening of the banquet. The venue looked brilliant in the neon light. Aaron attended the banquet as an upstart, but he was the main focus of many. The woman by his side drew much attention as well.

This woman was now pretty famous and the people in QY Island knew she was someone who pursued fashion.

"Our customized tailoring dyes your dress with your dream!"

The advertising slogan of her fashion design shop had been the buzz of the island lately. Many political players and celebrities at the banquet were wearing dresses made by "Only Memory", her customized tailoring store.

A glowing red carpet was sprawled from the gate to the banquet hall. Media was not allowed to interview guests or take pictures beyond the periphery. Everybody was looking forward to seeing Aaron and Ximena. Shortly after, a limousine arrived and stopped at the end of the red carpet.

The photographers clicked pictures of the limousine vigorously, as if their hands had been stuck to the clicker. The sound of shutters along with the flashlight made for a noisy scene at the evening venue.

Ken got off the limousine first. He opened the rear door and Aaron got off the car elegantly. In the suit tailored and sewed personally by Ximena, he looked even more handsome than usual. Ignoring the numerous flashlights, he strode to the other side of the limousine. He opened the door and stretched out his hand like a gentleman.

Sitting in the backseat, Ximena threw a glance at the flashlight outside the limousine. With a proud smile on her red lips, she placed her hand on Aaron's. In the past, while she had been living in a dark and dirty alley, she had stared at those big screens on the outer walls of the shopping malls numerous times. When the previous banquets of the council hall had been displayed on the screens or when movie stars had walked on the shiny bright red carpet, she had dreamed that one day she would walk on that red carpet, taking proud steps, arm in arm with a handsome man. However, it was not until she actually walked on it that she realized that nothing was more important than the person standing by her side at that time.

Arm in arm, the couple looked elegant. Looking steadily forward, the two of them headed towards the Banyan House. By the time they entered the hall, they had become the focus in everybody's eyes.

Numerous gazes were fixed on them, filled with all kinds of emotions-admiration, envy, and much more complicated feelings. Ximena suddenly stopped walking and turned her head to look sideways. She didn't see anything except the crowd of photographers and reporters. But she was so sure that she had felt a malicious gaze on her, as if someone wanted to bring her severe harm.
