Love Began with the First Meeting

Chapter 1109 Extra Story 89 Of Sweetness Between Bri And Mol From The Beginning To The End

Richie said, "She works until ten. There's still half an hour..."

"Then I'll go to find her." Addison said and stood up. He wasn't dressed formally - he was only wearing a simple T-shirt, jeans and a pair of fashionable shoes since he wasn't in the National Congress. Wearing something like this, he looked like a ten-year old boy again. Confidently, he walked towards the bar, looked around and then asked politely, "Hi there, is there a Becky working here?"

'Why are there so many people wanting to see Becky today?'

The girl at the bar thought, confused at the sudden influx of people looking for Becky. After looking at the boy from head to toe, she then looked at the four people sitting not far away. Instantly, she knew that the boy in front of her was with them. She asked, "Little boy, why do you want to see Becky?"

Addison replied after thinking for a second, "She's my mother's elder sister."

"Huh?" The girl questioned, astonished. Quickly, she studied the little boy with wide open eyes. While she couldn't afford expensive clothes, but she knew which was which the moment she laid her eyes on them. This boy was dressed casually, but she could tell that every piece of his clothes didn't cost any less than her monthly salary. The adults with him were also wearing luxurious outfits - nothing too showy, but definitely expensive. 'How could Becky have such rich relatives?' the girl thought.

Addison didn't talk but enjoyed her staring at him for a while, then he asked, "Has aunt finished her work?" It was the first time that he addressed Becky as "aunt", but he did it in such a natural way that anyone who would hear him would think he had been calling her dad ever since he was born. Ever since he could remember, he was taught that they had nothing to do with the last generation's personal issues. No matter these people were enemies or friends to his parents, in front of them, he had to keep the due manners as a youngster should.

"She's, she's..." the girl stuttered but she finally was able to say, "Helping... in the kitchen."

Becky wasn't in a good mood because of what happened that afternoon. In order to not bring her bad mood to the clients, she came to help with the baking in the kitchen. She was so concentrated on the decoration work that she didn't even notice when Addison came in. Generally speaking, nobody but only the staff was allowed to enter into the kitchen. The other two bakers were shocked when they saw Addison just casually strolling in there. "Little boy, can I help you?"

Addison replied, pointing at Becky who was working, "I came to see my aunt. She works here."

One baker was so amused with the dimples on Addison's smiling face that he ignored the way he addressed Becky. With a huge smile on his lips, he said, "Oh, go ahead......"

"Thank you, uncle!" Addison thanked him with a smile, then walked in.

The baker didn't realize that this little boy addressed Becky as "aunt" until the other baker asked him about it. Everybody in the coffee shop knew that Becky had no family. After all, they've seen her always alone.

With a swiftness, the two bakers turned to the direction of Becky and Addison. Meanwhile, Becky looked up to see what was happening, saw Addison, frowned, and quickly looked down, pretending not to know him and kept doing her work.

"My grandparents are both outside, Aunt Becky," Addison said without any introduction. As a Ruler candidate, he was trained to talk differently from person to person. To Becky, he didn't think it was necessary to talk in an indirect manner. "Papa Brian and mommy are not here. Charlie and Evelyn are here."

Becky tried to control herself and pretended not to hear him again, but this time, she couldn't. Human beings were strange. Only when they lost something would they know to cherish it. The moment they calmed down, a sense of urgency to own whatever they lost again no matter what bad experience they had before washes over them. Molly had come to talk to her that afternoon, which made her restless. She just wanted to cool down by baking the whole afternoon, but that was interrupted by Addison coming in and disturbing her. Seeing that Becky was suddenly motionless with her eyes down on the baking tools in her hands, Addison said expectantly, "Aunt Becky, Charlie and Evelyn want to see you too."

Becky couldn't keep back her tears, and they fell on the cake in front of her. 'When did I become this fragile?' she thought, still trying to calm down. Despite experiencing a lot in life, she was proud that she had kept her domineering attitude, and how proud she was of who she was. But at this moment, her defense was broken by Addison's words, just like that.

Regaining something after losing it, how did it feel? That would be probably be what Becky felt at this moment.

Turning a cold shoulder to Molly was easy for her to do, but she couldn't resist three kids addressing her as "aunt". If Addison could forgive her although she had made a lot of mistakes, why couldn't she give them one chance to spend time with her? When the three kids were glued to her, she felt like she was the happiest person in the world, especially for someone like her who couldn't conceive a child again.

Molly stood across the road, looking at Evelyn sitting on Becky's knees happily while talking about something. With what she was seeing, she felt like she could let go of everything now. However, as much emotion as she was feeling right then looking at her kids and Becky, she knew that the scars in her heart would never be erased.

"Thank you," Molly said, turning to Brian with a smile and tearful eyes. The sincerity in her eyes and tone could not be doubted, and Brian could see how genuine Molly's feeling were at that moment. 'What have I done to deserve such a good man? Every time, I have no idea how he solves my problems for me, but he does! How lucky I am to have such a man!' she thought.

Brian just put his hand on Molly's shoulder and said calmly, "I did it not just for you. You and I, we both owe her something." Nothing unhappy would have happened if he did the right thing. But if Becky didn't lie to him, he would have never fallen in love with Molly. 000000
