Love Began with the First Meeting

Chapter 1095 Extra Story 76 Of Sweetness Between Bri And Mol Crisis

"Okay, let's go as soon as Charlie and Evelyn are back from school tomorrow!" Molly couldn't wait. She wanted to see Aaron again as well. After all, she had not seen him for a long time. In fact, the last time they had seen each other was when she tried to help him and Ximena with their relationship. Aaron and Ximena had been getting along well with each other, but they hadn't gotten legally married yet.

Although a red certificate was not necessary to determine their affection towards each other, Molly still hoped that the two of them would get legally married soon. Nevertheless, in the end the key to this issue would still fall on whether Ximena could get pregnant. When Charlie and Evelyn were told that they would be going to T City on holiday, they jumped about in sheer joy. The twin kids enjoyed coastal places. Unfortunately for them, A City was an inland city. So, the thought of going to T City or Dragon always made them extremely happy, as they would be able to quell their longing for the beach to their hearts' content.

It was past eleven o'clock at night when the airplane they took arrived at the airport of T City. Assuming that Eric and Aaron were still busy dealing with problems of Dragon Empire Group, Molly and Ximena decided not to let them know about their arrival. After getting off the airplane, they hailed a taxi, heading to the hillside villa Richie had bought many years ago in T City.

When the taxi dropped them off at the villa, Molly turned on the lights. Since the place was regularly maintained by hired help, everything was spick and span. However, as soon as Ximena saw the black and white style of decoration in the house, she felt a bit disappointed. She was a fashion designer who was sensitive to colors. Although she was not a home interior designer, she knew the importance and principles of color matching.

"This villa belongs to my father-in-law. He bought it before he met my mother-in-law..." Molly smiled and gave Ximena a bit of history about the place when she noticed Ximena's confusion. "Rumor has it that before he met Shirley, his world was dull and primarily made up of black and white..."

"Really?" Ximena could not help but express her opinion as a professional, "Such a dominant tone for home decoration would only drive people away."

However, at the same time, listening to stories about Richie Long drew her curiosity.

Undoubtedly, Richie was a legend from the Long Family and from Dragon Empire Group. Once, he had willingly stopped and sacrificed an oil exploration program, which could bring him inestimable profit, for the sake of Shirley. Suffice it to say, Ximena was deeply impressed by this and she thought he was probably the only person in the world to do such a thing.

Pointing at a room casually, Molly said, "I will stay in this room together with the kids. The other rooms are clean. You may choose any one from them as you like..." Suddenly, she paused upon remembering that Ximena wasn't a big fan of the black and white decorations. Then she pointed at the room next to the master bedroom and said, "Well, since you don't like the color tone of black and white, you may take this room... It's purple, by the way."

"Oh?" Ximena was a bit surprised.

"Shirley likes purple, which probably explains this room," Molly explained with a smile. "Good night,"

Ximena smiled back as she pulled her luggage into the purple room.

At first, they wanted to go to Flight Media to visit Eric and Aaron. But unfortunately, it was past twelve at midnight when they finally arrived at the villa. The twins were already asleep as they could not stay up late like the adults. Besides, they were very tired from the long hours of travelling. Molly and Ximena realized that they wouldn't be able to offer any help at this hour. Therefore, they changed their mind and gave up on their original plan of going to Flight Media. Instead, they chose to stay in for a good sleep and regain their energy. Just as they had expected, all the lights in the building of Flight Media were still on. From the CEO's room on the top floor to the front desk in the hall on the first floor, everybody was burning the midnight oil. In a big conference room, Eric and Aaron sat in the master seats, while the senior executives sat at their side. The screen on the wall was divided into two sections, each showing different things. One showed Richie and Frank, who were in a study in the Long Family Mansion in Dragon Island, while the other showed Brian, who was in the headquarters of the Zelanian subsidiary of Dragon Empire Group. The conference was being held among the three major parties. They collectively pooled all the information they had respectively gathered till now. The most important topic of discussion was where to start and how to remove the problems that had emerged.

Just in case that they misjudged the situation and made any wrong decisions, a huge negative consequence would be resulted in.

The conference didn't come to an end until it was past three o'clock early in the morning. By now, Richie and Frank had gone off line and Aaron had returned to the hotel he was staying at. The only people still there were Eric in the conference room and Brian on a screen. "Do you have something else to say?" Brian uttered these words in form of a question, but he was already sure of an affirmative answer.

"Little Molly has arrived in T City..." Eric mentioned it casually. When he saw the frown on Brian's face, he couldn't help but hide his smile under his indifference. "You know the Dragon Empire Groups has eyes and ears everywhere in T City. Besides, they chose the airline under Dragon Empire Group, so it's not like she and Ximena were trying to hide their whereabouts. I think it would be more difficult for me not to know about their arrival."

"Does Aaron know anything about this?" Brian asked.

Shaking his head, Eric answered, "I'm sure they had been looking forward to this. How could I ruin her plans of surprising her significant other?" He deliberately targeted Brian by continuing, "You'd better solve the problems in Australia as soon as possible. Otherwise, Little Molly might end up spending time with me because of her flooding sympathy for me."

It was evident from his smug face that he was enjoying this.

It had been nearly five years since their love triangle had ended with Brian and Molly's reunion. However, he still tried to annoy Brian when he'd find a chance every now and then. Perhaps it was his consolation prize for losing out to Brian. He had not only given up pursuing Molly, but he had even helped her get back with Brian.

Brian, however, remained calm and composed, not allowing Eric to derive pleasure from his annoyance. Slowly leaning his back against the chair, he said, "It doesn't matter. If that's the case, then I have no choice but to go back now and seize my wife first." "..." Eric was speechless. He mumbled some words that only himself could hear. In the end, he curled his mouth and said, "It's quite late here. I'm going to try and get some sleep. I have a busy day tomorrow."

Soon after, he nodded at the screen and turned it off without waiting for Brian's response. He turned off the lights in the conference room and went back to the top floor.

The CEO's room was a suite, which contained a separate room with a bed for emergencies. For the past few days, Eric had been sleeping there every day. Now that had two advantages. The first one was that it was convenient for him. The second was that he would not waste any time in traffic. 00000
