Love at First Night (Frank and Judith)

Chapter 438

Chapter 438 Frank, I’m Back
Judith did not probe into it instantly. She still sit there quietly, waiting for him to talk about it when he calmed down.
At this moment, she did not even bear the sight of his distressed face.
She was afraid that such a sight would haunt her forever.
This memory would torture her every time she recalled it in the future.
What Frank needed now was a quiet listener.
While Judith was trying to relate to him, Frank, who was suppressing his pain, slowly said, “The rain that night was so heavy that
it almost blurred my eyes, but I was overwhelmed by pain and just wanted to vent all the bad feelings.”
“I desperately ran forward, with Jodie at my heels.”
“When I was exhausted and stopped, I suddenly remembered that Jodie was still behind me. I quickly backtracked for her, but I
couldn’t find her. It’s been almost nineteen years, and I have never seen her again...”
Frank talked a lot about it.
Judith no longer asked anything about it.
When Frank finished speaking, Judith looked up at him in a stiff way but was stunned when her eyes were fixed on his
handsome face.
Unknowingly, tears rolled down her face.
Frank also shed tears which were even more translucent against his white skin.
He seemed so vulnerable, just like a fragile doll. It was as if even a gentle touch would make him collapse.
Frank looked at the tears on her face and felt an overwhelming pain!
“Jodie,” he called softly in a voice full of longing for her.
He tilted slightly aside to hug her tightly, burying his head in her shoulder with his eyes closed and trying to feel the sweetness!

Judith was still slightly stunned in his arms, recalling his words which made her overwhelmed by pain.
She wondered why she could relate to him so much as he described his feelings.
She did not expect such a distant and ruthless president to have such a terrible story and such deep love for a girl.
The several years they spent together had been such an unforgettable memory for him that he was willing to spend the rest of
his life waiting for that girl.
In this era of rapid development, many people only valued benefits rather than true love.
But such sincerity and true love existed in Frank!
She blinked her eyes slightly as her tears rolled down her face slowly!
She closed her eyes and suppressed all her feelings. She opened her mouth and thought for a long time before saying, “Frank,
you should have nothing to regret since you’ve tried your best to be nice to her when you were with her. What matters most for
anyone is to have a clear conscience.”
“Jodie’s disappearance is not your fault.”
“You don’t have to complain that the fate is bad for you. After all, you have the right to choose. Let go of the past. Perhaps if you
are lucky, one day, Jodie will appear in front of you.”
“At that time, she might look at you and say with a smile, ‘Frank, I’m back!”

When Judith finished speaking, she was instantly overwhelmed by the sorrow.
She didn’t know why she felt so much pain.
She also didn’t know why her heart ached so much.
Frank trembled slightly as he hugged her and heard what she said in the end.
It touched him so much to release all his sorrow at this moment.
