Love at First Night (Frank and Judith)

Chapter 10

Chapter 10
Frowning, Judith’s red lips pouted slightly. “Adam, what are you saying? You know that I work at the Taylor Group for some other
reasons.” She would have a chance to buy the shares of Cooper Enterprise at the Taylor Group. She wanted to take revenge.
Adam looked at Judith with his deep eyes. He felt sorry for Judith.
A warm applause sounded, attracting the attention of the three. Alissa smiled and said, “Let’s go. Forget about these unhappy
things. Let’s go and watch Eric play the piano.” Adam held Judith’s and Alissa’s hands. They walked towards the seats not far
away. They were in the Melody Restaurant.
People were pleased by the light music in the luxurious private room. Dishes had been served on the table. However, Frank
didn’t eat them but drank wine.
The contest in which Eric participated was broadcast on the television on the wall. Gary watched it with great interest.
He was immersed in the smooth music and drank the wine.
However, Frank had no interest in these variety shows. He had traveled all over the world to search for Jodie these years. He
had searched for her in one city after another, but he still failed to find her. He would miss Jodie more when he saw familiar eyes
occasionally. But he still didn’t get any information about her. On that night, a heavy rain washed everything, even the place
where Jodie had an accident, clean. The only thing left behind was the lollipop she wanted to give him, Jodie always stayed by
his side when he was depressed and unhappy. No matter how he drove her away, she would accompany him until he was
cheered up. “Frank, this is a strawberry-flavored lollipop. It’s very sweet. You won’t feel sad anymore after you eat it. You will only
feel happy.” Jodie’s soft and pleasant voice often echoed in Frank’s ears. Jodie’s clear and clean big eyes were so lively that
seized people’s attention. Frank, a man who didn’t have a sweet tooth, also loved eating the strawberry lollipop. He put some
strawberry lollipop at home and in his car. Eating the lollipop would give him a sense of happiness.
Frank sat on the chair lazily. The brilliant lights made his handsome eyes look deeper. He raised his head and drank another
glass of wine. Whenever he’s alone, he prayed in his heart that he could find Jodie as soon as possible.
He also hoped to find his mother.
He couldn’t be happy anymore without them. Frank was completely immersed in his world. He wasn’t affected by Gary, the
sounds from the television and the vibration of his cell phone.

The host shouted excitedly on the television. “Congratulations to Eric on winning the National Championship with the song ‘My
Mother’.” After the warm applause, Eric’s handsome face was magnified on the television, brimming with a happy smile. When
Gary looked at Eric, he felt that the face was familiar to him. He knocked on the table lightly. “Frank, look at this little boy. Have
you seen him before?” Gary didn’t pay much attention to Eric before. After all, Eric was a child. No one could predict the future,
especially in the entertainment circle. However, Eric won the first place in the piano competition today with the song he wrote
himself. He had a promising future. Only then did Gary take Eric seriously.
