Love After One-night Stand with CEO

Chapter 172 Is Being a Girl No Good?

Danny felt goosebumps all over him from Hanna's words. He stared at her and felt an inexplicable attraction to her. "Where did you come from?" Hanna looked at him and asked with a slight smile.

Danny hurriedly said, "I came for a physical examination with my little brother and grandma. What about you?" Hanna was a little shy. She whispered, "I have a fever, so my mom brought me to see the doctor."

"Are you okay? What did the doctor say?" Danny suddenly became worried.

Hanna smiled, revealing her dimples. "I should be fine. I often get sick..."

As she spoke, she frowned and felt pain in her heart again.

Every time she had a fever and got sick, her heart would hurt a little. Her mom told her it must be a sequela from birth.

Danny frowned, and his heart twitched. It hurt!

"Ouch! It hurts..." Kasen covered his chest at the sudden pain.

"What's wrong with you?" Hanna hurriedly looked at Danny and asked.

A smile appeared on Danny's face as he said, "I-I'm fine. It's just I felt a thug at my heart."

Hanna did not understand. "My heart hurt too!"

Danny grinned and said, "Really? Could we be soulmates like my father often says?"

Hanna giggled.

At this moment, Kasen rubbed his chest and walked over. When he approached Hanna, he was shocked by her.

"You're beautiful!" Kasen was stunned.

Hanna looked at Danny and Kasen. Her big eyes were full of confusion. "Are you... twins?"

"Yes. I am the older brother. My name is Danny. He's Kasen. What's your name?"

"My name is Hanna," Hanna introduced herself in a sweet voice and with a smile.

"Hanna... What a nice name. How old are you? Are you in kindergarten?" Danny asked.

"I'm three and a half years old. I'm in the junior class at the international kindergarten. What about you?" Hanna tilted her head and asked. "We are five years old, and we are..."

"Danny! Kasen!" An angry voice sounded.

The next second, Mrs. Lewis ran over in a hurry, followed by several people.

"Where did you go? Are you trying to make me worry?" They disappeared in the blink of an eye, which made her anxious.

"Grandma, we weren't running around. Look! We met a beautiful little girl." Kasen held Mrs. Lewis's hand and said with a smile.

Mrs. Lewis glanced at Hanna and was shocked by her. Hanna was really a very beautiful little girl.

Hanna was even more stunning and beautiful than the granddaughters of wealthy families she knew.

"Grandma, Hanna's pretty, isn't she?" Danny smiled as if Hanna was his treasure.

Mrs. Lewis put away her smile and said, "What's the use of being pretty? She's a girl, and she'll end up with someone else."

"Grandma, how can you say that?" Kasen was unhappy.

"Grandma, Hanna is a good child. She is my sister. Don't say that to her!" Danny also said seriously.

Mrs. Lewis's face darkened. "Enough. Who are you? How can you play with these unknown girls? Didn't I introduce a lot of young ladies from influential families to you last time?" "Grandma!" The two brothers voiced their displeasure at the same time.

"Alright. Let's go back. I have something to do later." As she spoke, she dragged them both and walked away.

"Hanna, wait for me. I will go and find you!" Danny shouted.

"Me too. I'll go too..." Kasen's voice gradually faded away.

Hanna frowned and looked a little unhappy. Why did that grandma say that to her?

"Okay. Thank you, doctor." Rosa opened the door and walked to her daughter. "Hanna, let's go home after taking the medicine, okay?"

Hanna didn't say anything, but her face was unhappy.

"What's wrong?"

"Mom, is being a girl no good?"

Rosa was a little confused. She looked at the nurse beside her and found that the nurse was in a state of shock.

The two little boys must be models, right? How could they be so handsome?

"What's wrong, Hanna?" Rosa touched her forehead. Hanna wasn't burning.

"When you were speaking with the doctor, a pair of twins showed up. They were so good-looking. I had never seen any boys more handsome than them. But their grandma took them away. She seemed to dislike me because I am a girl..."

Rosa frowned. Who dared to say that to her daughter?

"Mom, isn't being a girl no good?" Hanna's big eyes were filled with innocence and confusion.

Hanna frowned because she was not very happy with those words.

"How could it be? I am a girl too. Why are girls no good?" Rosa tidied Hanna's hair and looked at her doll-like daughter. Her heart seemed to melt.

"But why did that grandma say that to me?"

"Well, she might be an old witch. She said that because she was jealous of your beauty!" Rosa reached out to pick up Hanna and walked to the pharmacy. Hanna furrowed her beautiful brows and whispered, "Wouldn't that make Danny and Kasen very pitiful? Will that grandma scolds them often?" Rosa stopped and looked at her daughter in astonishment. "What did you say?"

Hanna was shocked by her sudden expression. She looked at Rosa with a pair of big eyes and did not know what to do.

"Hanna, what were their names again?"

"Danny and Kasen..."

Rosa's heart skipped a beat. She asked subconsciously, "Where did they go?"

Hanna didn't know what was going on. She pointed in a direction.

Rosa quickly carried Hanna and ran in that direction.

"Mommy, what's wrong with you?" Hanna was a little scared. Rosa held her and ran wildly in one direction.

Rosa didn't have time to explain to her and kept running till they reached the outside of the hospital.

Suddenly, she caught a glimpse of a familiar Maybach. She had seen it in the underground garage of the Lewis Mansion. Rosa wanted to chase after it, but she was holding a child in her arms. How could she catch up with the Maybach?

A few seconds later, the luxury car turned and disappeared.

Rosa held Hanna in her arms and gasped. She was exhausted.

"Mom, what's wrong with you? Don't scare me..." Hanna had never seen Rosa so panicked before. She was so scared that she was about to cry. Rosa came to her senses and looked at Hanna. She patted Hanna and said, "Don't be afraid. I just wanted to see if they were bullied." Hanna sniffed and curled her lips. "Mom, will they?"

Looking at her daughter who was about to cry, Rosa could not help asking, "Hanna, do they... look okay? Do they... like you?"

Hanna nodded and said, "Yes, they

look beautiful. They are the most beautiful little boys I have ever seen. They liked me too and wanted to play with me. But their grandma is terrible."

"Don't be afraid. I am here. I won't let that old witch bully you!"

Mrs. Lewis had not changed at all. She was still as annoying as before!

Hanna tilted her head and asked, "Mom, will you protect Danny and Kasen too?"

Rosa was a little stunned, so she asked with curiosity, "Hanna... you've only seen them once. Why are you so concerned about them?"

Hanna smiled and said, "Mom, Danny said we were soulmates!"

"Soulmates?" Rosa took her to the hospital to get the medicine.

"Yes. My heart hurt just now, and Danny started feeling it too. Mom, do you have a connection with each other?" Hanna asked in confusion.

Rosa stopped in her tracks.

They could feel Hanna's heartache?

Some said twins have a telepathic connection with each other.

Thinking of what Marlene had said, she suddenly felt a sharp pain in her heart.

Suddenly, she wanted to see them!

In the Maybach.

"Danny, you know your brother is not

sensible. As an elder brother, how could you act like him too? I warned you many times not to talk with girls with no status!" Mrs. Lewis began to nag.

Danny frowned and said, "Grandma, what do you mean by no status?"

"I know you understand, but you don't know your father's identity and status. You will become as capable as your father in the future. You should find a girl who matches you. What's the use of a little girl with a face?"

"Grandma, don't say that about Hanna!" Kasen was upset.

"What's wrong with you? Can't I talk about an outsider?" Mrs. Lewis was unhappy. She had raised them for five years. How could she not compare with an unknown girl? Danny didn't want to pay attention to her, so he simply looked out of the window.

Mrs. Lewis looked at the obedient Kasen and said, "Kasen, I know you are a good boy. Remember Noella from last time? She's pretty too, and she seems to like you very much!" "Grandma, I don't like her. She's capricious and unruly. She's always pointing fingers and kicking at me. Grandma, I'm a man. Why do I have to be pointed at by her?" Kase retorted.

Mrs. Lewis was stunned.

Kasen was right? Why should a man of the Lewis family be pointed at by a woman?

Mrs. Lewis thought of her son and got mad. Thus, Mrs. Lewis shut up.

Rosa sent Hanna home. Hanna clung to her and refused to let go.

"Hanna, be good. It's not good for me to take leaves when I just started work. Tomorrow is the weekend. I will play with you, okay?" Rosa lay beside her and said.

Hanna hugged her arm and said, "Mom..."

"Hanna is a good girl, right?" Rosa tilted her head and kissed her forehead.

Hanna nodded and said, "Okay. Will you come back early today?"

"Okay, I promise you to come back early! Come now. Take your medicine and sleep."

Hanna nodded, sat up, took the medicine, and lay down.

Rosa coaxed her for a while before she fell asleep.

"I love you." She kissed Hanna again before covering Hanna with the thin blanket. She picked up the cup and closed the door.

However, as soon as she closed the door, she heard Aunt Poppy talking to an outsider.

Rosa walked to the living room and asked, "Aunt Poppy, who are you talking to?"

"Miss, there's a man looking for you." Aunt Poppy stepped aside.

The next second, the tall and slender figure appeared.

The man smiled and said leisurely, "It turns out that you do live here!"

Rosa turned pale with shock, dropping the cup in her hand.
