Chapter Capítulo 2149

Chapter 2149
None of them would have been willing to invest in Severin before then. After all, Severin had just entered the sect, and his level
of attainment was not that high. Each of the five core disciples within the sect had their own strengths, and even Celeste-the last-
ranked core disciple-was one of the rare prodigies with an inherent talent in alchemy. It would only be a matter of time until she
became a seventh -grade or even eighth-grade alchemist.
The top three-Karl, Spencer, and Riley-had successively broken through to paragon and were far ahead in terms of attainment.
Karl, in particular, possessed a strong divine constitution and stellar talent as a reputed reincarnation of an ancient power.
Should he continue his training in a stable manner, he might be able to cement his
position and reach greater heights.
Back then, the sect elders were more inclined to support Karl compared to Severin. As time passed, however, Severin’s talent
became increasingly apparent and his achievements grew ever more astonishing. He had forged ahead and made a
breakthrough to paragon, convincing Daniella and the others of his monstrous talent, and spurring her into expressing his true
feelings.
Myles assumed a serious expression after hearing Daniella’s
question and asked, “Are you confident in securing first place in the upcoming sect tournament?”
Severin considered Myles question carefully before phrasing his answer. “I have nothing to say about my chances to claim top
spot, but securing a place in the top three would be rather doable.”

His physical body had become as powerful as that of a dragon ever since he reached the level of a paragon. Coupled with his
surging power of blood and energy, his combat prowess could match or even

as he was aware, there
were only four paragons within the core disciples-himself, Karl, Spencer, and Riley. It was Karl that Severin was more concerned
about, rather than the other two, as Karl was supposedly the
reincarnation of an ancient powerhouse.
However, Severin was cautious not to give any absolute assurance to the peak masters as he was aware of the possibility that
unexpected developments might happen. However, he was confident in getting one of the top three spots and thus worded his
answer to reflect that. The peak masters seemed to have predicted that answer as they exchanged glances while nodding in
satisfaction.
Severin was aware that he should not allow the joy of his
breakthrough to grow into arrogance, for that would only lead him to suffer severe defeat in the future and-at worse-death.
Myles regained his composure and said, “In that case, I’d like to offer this seventh-grade Breakthrough Pill to you.”
A thumb-sized cream-coloured pill appeared in front of Severin with a wave of Myles’ hand. The fragrance was invigorating, and
a single whiff left Severin feeling profoundly enlightened. He felt as if the power of heaven and earth within him had been

condensed and
increased.
Severin gladly accepted it, as it was designed specifically for a paragon to secure the breakthrough of stages within a level.
While it might not be of much use to level nine paragons like Myles and Daniella, it was godsent for someone like Severin who
had just secured a breakthrough!
Severin chuckled. “Haha! This’ll be a great confidence booster for
sure!”
