Letting My Brother's Best Friend Take My V-Card (Jessie and Luke)

Chapter Billionaire My Husband 145

PART 3 - CHAPTER 145 JESS

"Luke," I whispered, my heart racing.

Leaning against that black Jeep, he exuded a sultry confidence that was impossible to ignore. He uncrossed his arms, sliding his hands into his pockets in a way that made his fitted black V-

neck hug his body just right, giving me a tantalizing glimpse of the muscles underneath. There was something dangerously. attractive about him-the way his jaw was clenched, like a storm brewing just beneath the surface, had my head spinning.

Every instinct screamed a red flag, warning me to stay away, yet all I could think was how my body was betraying me, wanting to step closer, to feel the heat radiating off him, despite every rational thought shouting at me to turn back.

But what unsettled me most wasn't how he looked at me.

It was how he was looking at Aiden.

In a blink, Luke closed the distance between them. His fist shot out, grabbing Aiden by the front of his shirt and yanking him forward with a force that made my

breath hitch. "What the fuck do you think you're doing!?" Luke growled, his voice low and dangerous, vibrating with barely restrained fury.

I moved to step between them, but neither budged an inch. It was like trying to shift two immovable walls.

Aiden didn't flinch. In fact, he smiled at Luke, his calm

demeanor only infuriating him more. They were the same height, but that's where the similarities ended. Aiden was lean, all wiry muscle from hours of running, but Luke..... Luke was a powerhouse. Built for contact, for the kind of sport that left bruises and broken bones. "Woa, man," Aiden said, his tone casual despite the fist still gripping his shirt. "Nothing happened. I walked Jess back to the dorm, that's it."

Luke's smirk was cold, his eyes dark, "Fucking convenient for you, isn't it?" he sneered. "Jess, not remembering me. But let me make something clear-" his voice dropped, "that doesn't mean you stand a fucking chance. Got it? I'm still here."

1 forced myself between them, ignoring the heat radiating off Luke as I pressed a hand to his chest. Looking up at him, my fingers trembled against the solid muscle beneath, I said softly, trying to calm him down. "He just walked me back. That's it."

Luke didn't move for a moment, his eyes still blazing with anger as he glared over my head at Aiden. But slowly, the rage ebbed away, replaced by something else-something raw and

conflicted. His gaze dropped to me, and with a reluctant sigh, he let go of Aiden's shirt, stepping back.

I turned to look at Aiden, who was fixing his shirt, clearly unfazed by the whole thing. He glanced up at me, his expression hardening. "You should get a leash for your pet," he bit out before turning on his heel and walking away, leaving Luke and me in the middle of the emp Luke's voice broke the silence, "I know you need space, Jess," he began, his eyes locking onto mine. "But I've been going fucking insane giving it to you." 27.945

He stepped forward, and before I knew it, his hand reached for mine. I let him take it. It felt right-comforting, familiar in a way I couldn't explain.

I felt safe with Luke, but I felt safe with Aiden too.

"I'm okay. I really am," I said softly, "but I'm sorry, I still don't remember anything yet."

I glanced up, expecting to see disappointment flash across his face. But there was none. Instead, Luke just stared at me, his expression unreadable but calm. His gaze

softened as his hand reached up to brush a stray strand of hair away from my face, the light touch sending a shiver down my spine.

"I just miss you," he whispered, his voice almost breaking. His thumb hovered near my cheek, and I could see the hesitation in his eyes. "Can I? Is this okay?"

I nodded, the weight of his touch grounding me, making me feel more present than I had in days. "Yes," I whispered, my voice barely audible, as the warmth of his hand on my skin set off a chain reaction in my body.

Luke's fingers moved gently, trailing from my cheek down the side of my neck. I felt my breath catch as he continued, his hand

gliding over my shoulder, down the length of my arm, slow and deliberate. Every inch he touched tingled, leaving a heat behind that made my skin buzz with awareness.

When his hand reached mine again, he entwined our fingers and gently tugged me toward him. His grip was firm but careful as if he was afraid I might pull away. PART 3 CHAPTER 145

But I didn't.

I followed him willingly, my heart racing faster as we walked together toward his Jeep, the same one that had been haunting my dreams.

I didn't know what was going to happen next, but I didn't care. I just knew I didn't want him to let go.
