Chapter CHAPTER VII: INHERENCE (6)
The Path of Fire, was the name of the new spell. Which, in reality, was subdivided into five regular spells, founded on the Lexicon of Leyra. Each represented a stage; a step towards the conclusion of the intended plan.
Argôn was located at the beginning of the path. Amalia, at the end of it. The first thing she did was to perform a test. In it, the sorceress would try to switch the energy of a small tree to that of a plant, which was dying. With her glowing hands, and a few words, she opened a small portal.
The woman extracted with her lighting hands, the consciousness of the tree, and sent it directly to the portal. On the frontal face of it, where the dragon was facing. The structure of the tree fell immediately.
Amalia then, still located at the end of the path, extracted the energy from the dying plant and sent it to the same portal, but integrated the energy on the other side. From her side. Right into the insides of the opened dimension.
And just a couple of moments after this, the already induced energy from the tree came out from the portal. It went out as an amorphous light; revealing itself from ending side, where the sorceress was located.
Amalia then, guided the light with her powers to the now uninhabited plant. Now, the energy of the tree lived inside the plant. She renewed the crossing successfully.
“What about the plant’s previous energy?” the dragon asked.
“This portal is actually a set of dimensional roads” she said. “The light transports energy to the regime of consciousness, and only returns it to this realm if necessary. The energy of the plant was trapped in it. It will return to the place where it came from: the Light. “
“But not all energy goes to the Light” she clarified. “In this portal, the limb of reincarnation is also found. You can reincarnate in any regimen.”
“But then, do we need a human body for this?” the dragon asked.
“Not necessarily” said the sorceress. “I just wanted to check that the portal worked correctly, with the words I had for it. This is the first step.”
Amalia engendered from her hands, a power that sprouted like a greenish energy. Quickly, it began to turn into a solid material of a dark blue color. Matter was transformed into a portal, much larger than the previous one. It was possible to see a magenta transparency through it from the side of Amalia, but from the side of the nervous dragon, the entrance of the portal portrayed a view full of stars. It was the infinite, which seemed to be synthesized in the dark: thousands of galaxies, planets, universes, the cosmos. It was the most fulfilling view, the dragon had in all of his life.
“Release the wolf!” Amalia exclaimed.
The dragon released from his claws, a wolf that had been caught in the forest moments before. The wolf began to run, and all the pilasters absorb its energy quickly on its path.
On the dragon’s side, the yellow colors dominated. A sort of electricity ran through the upper parts of the pilasters, and the energy current adhered to the wolf. It howled in pain, but it kept running towards the entrance of the suspended portal.
From the perspective of the sorceress, the wolf came more towards her. The road was actually enchanted to force the one who will enter its path, to cross it. To reach the other side of the portal. To reach her, on the end.
If the energy entered the portal, and did not came out of it towards the side of Amalia, it would mean the energy was trapped in the limbs of the portal dimensions. With no possibility of return. This electric activation of the pilasters, originated from the beginning of the path, was step number two.
The wolf then entered the portal. Just as he entered and lost himself in it, a light shone so bright that nothing could be observed on the dragon’s side. Amalia, meanwhile, watched as the wolf’s energy entered the realm of consciousness and light correctly, and his old body lay on the ground, for the portal expelled physical matter once it absorbed its energy.
“What happens now to his body?” asked Argôn.
“Upon entering the portal, energy is absorbed, and the body is expelled from the dimension” said the woman. “Returning it here. This is just abandoned, as it means the death of his current physique. This is the third step of the spell.”
After a few moments, the portal begins to emanate an exorbitant noise. The sorceress then verbalized some words that would embody this trapped energy, into a human being of the Lořn´s race.
“Give us precious light, the blessing to engender this energy, and inhabit the consciousness of this creature into the awareness of a new man. For his intentions are pure and innocent, and his power will be transmuted to the coevolution of our environment. Let him give up his natural state, if this is his true will, and if love really lives inside this heart, let him access this new physical form. Oh, terrestrial creature created by Lerudith, as a verbalizer of your new physique, I will take care of you until the end of your days. I invite you to embody the Light, and incarnate, as a human being!”
After these words, the portal expelled a bright matter from the side of Amalia. Amorphous at the beginning, but in an instant, it started to form itself until a human body. From the dimension, a being was born, and while the being was losing brightness, the face of a man began to display. The portal, was gone.
“What happened to the portal?!” asked the dragon.
“It returned to the dimension of light, this is the fourth step” replied Amalia. “The disappearance of the interdimensional bridge, and the return of the energy extracted. Into the embodiment of the desired creature.”
The new man stood up. He couldn´t stop thanking Argôn and Amalia, since he longed to be a human. He swore his loyalty and service to them, until his death.
The stable consolidation of the creature in his new body, the fifth and final step, was completed.
“Your name will be Laín Ethelem. You will be our server and advisor” said the sorceress.
“So it will be, madam!” replied the new man.
“I suppose you already know what we want to do” said Amalia. “Any advice of the portal for our divine creature?”
“Sir, this period of time is very short” he said talking to Argônæth. “In my mind, thousands of images and visions happened at the same time, although I don’t remember the infinity of so much information. Most importantly, you will witness the Light itself. It will undress your heart and your spirit, and it will really see if your intentions are authentic. You won´t be comfortable. You must go with a mind full of gratitude and love, for in this dimension, the mind will cease to exist, and you’ll only be energy.”
Laín paused briefly and then continued,
“I think it is quite possible for the Raēn, your majesty” he said.
“It’s the moment, Argôn ” said the woman.
Rough drops of sweat descended from the dragon, and his knees wobbled. Although his gaze was cold and deep.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” said Amalia. “We can stop this right now. You do not have to do it.”
“I want to do it, and I’m going to do it” the pensive dragon exclaimed. “You need my support, and I will support you. I will not leave you alone, and we will be victorious. I will sacrifice whatever I have to sacrifice.”
The wolf’s dead body was removed, and Amalia looked at her new counselor as he lowered his head indicating that it was the right time. The sorceress placed her left leg forward, and her right leg behind. She shrugged his arms back to gain momentum and bowed her head, just a little.
While directing some old words from the Book, the woman swung her two arms at the same time, playing with the air in a circular manner. She evokes three different energies. Green, blue, and red lights circulated in all pilasters; the seeds sown under these pilasters connected with this energy and the power in each of them multiplied. A new portal had opened. It was bigger than planned. The seeds broke inside, and the tricolor fire seized the pilasters. Turning them all into giant torches, lighting the way for the brave dragon. The fire path, was open.
“Now Argôn!” she screamed. “Run!”
The dragon ran as fast as he could. The creature had too much energy that suddenly, the torches began to melt in a strong red color, exploding a fiercely dense fire.
The torches exploded excessively as they glimpsed at the presence of a miracle. The sorceress did everything she could, but every painful step the dragon took, she felt it too. It was a beating for her. She felt every scream, every heartbeat; the pain however, did not stop the dragon.
He entered the portal, trying to introduce his huge body into it, while thousands of currents of electric light were in place. His instincts told him to let go of his being. His mind insisted that if he let go of his being, he would fail. His heart told him that if he let go of his being, he would suffer, but his spirit yelled at him,
“If you let me go, you will be free.”
The dragon shouted, “I will be free!” on his last words before completely entering the portal. When he entered, Amalia and Laín managed to avoid the uncontrollable emanation of powers, hiding at the nearest stones. A flash of waves that forced them to cover their faces, distorted matter and air.
Suddenly, the portal vanished. The whole road was destroyed. Everything was full of fire and explosions. The pilasters fell, and the ground was covered in flames. On the floor, only the light of an object shone, the golden bracelet. And the confusion took hold of the minds of the place, in the presence of a sunset that mystified the mysterious disappearance of the creature.
“Where is it?” Amalia shouted. “Why is the portal gone?! Why did it leave?! Argôn is not here yet!”
The sorceress was screaming desperately because she didn’t know what had happened. She started looking everywhere. She looked up quickly thousands of paragraphs of the Book of Leyra, in moments, turning pages and pages; trying to understand what happened, but after a while, Laín fixed his gaze on a small lake. On the banks of this one, there was a man.
“Madam, look! It´s him!” Laín exclaimed.
He seemed like he came from the water. He had a scar on his right eye, and was freezing. Amalia gave him a silk blanket she was wearing and, in the amazing fall of the testimonial sun, she lifted the young man and turned his face towards her.
“Argôn?” exclaimed the sorceress.
“Amalia?” he asked. “Am I back?”
The man stammered, almost unable to speak.
“Yes! You did it!” respond the crying woman. “We did it, Argôn! It worked!”
