Chapter CHAPTER I: INTRO - LIGHT REFLECTIONS (2)
To stylize the creation, nature magnified the fire and integrated it with a light to form a new, mystical and mysterious element: plasma. It became the seventh of the divine elements, and quickly the most powerful of them all, being this the most unpredictable. Autonomous of its own existence, this energy became the main component on which the foundations laid for the development and formation of the magic force, and its derived essences. Its physical projection was infinite, with adaptable colors, depending on the environment in which it developed. Life established, this would be the only element that would be in continuous transformation, as the creatures of this planet learned to dominate it.
Mother Nature then fragmented these elements of effulgence and perfection in crystal bases. Each crystal base enjoyed a fragment of these energies. It fused them all, to form the embryos of her defending creatures of the world. They were destined to protect Kepler, and its inhabitants against any evil.
One of the first creations derived from these elements was the Kingdom of Dragons. They were giant reptiles, with proliferated wings, and with the marvelous ability to emanate bursts of glowing, portentous fire from their gigantic mouths. And in these times, the kingdom was born from the creation of the first Legendary Intial Dragon. The first-born Golden King. On him, all created things were founded; for he was the living representation of the whole notion of life. He was constituted as the oldest dragon of them all. Consolidated as the perfect creation of Elgoneth, main demigod of the Beatific Golden Assembly. And destiny separated for the Golden Dragon, the establishment to forge a unique empire; in which the seven supreme dragons were destined to emerge. These origins, would later extent into the seven divine lineages. Until the end, of all fabled times.
This was the oldest and most perfect creation of Elgoneth. This destiny for the Golden King was to forge a unique empire, which was to be composed of seven supreme dragons, of which the seven divine lineages would extend until the end of time. Each dragon must have a precious gem embedded in its forehead, which was in the form of a diamond crystal. These could be of seven different colors. Each color represented an offspring of one of the seven lineages. These descendants then, would convert into the generations of the pure race, the golden race, and would always be at the forefront and under the command of the Golden King.
The benevolent Golden King then, combined his powers and his essence for the formation of the embryos of the sacred creatures. The first Kingdom of Dragons, the kingdom of gold, was based on the creation of a thousand dragons, plus the golden dragon. The seven Supreme Dragons were effectively begotten, and with them, the birth of the seven lineages.
In this first-born kingdom, the Golden King had been in charge of creating the first female species, whose purpose was to bring the vigorous creatures into the light of life and thus ensure their continuity, allowing a broad descent for each lineage. An empire of a thousand and one dragons, essentially perfect, and very powerful.
The First Golden King taught them to fight, since life had endowed him with the art of war. And when the time came, he formed the first Dragon Army, and with them, he set up a majestic armor. It was made with fragments of land, stone, marble and plasma.
These armors were intended to cover their elongated tails and hardened skulls. These properties came from the rock caves of Epnea, thus generating a set of sturdy and resistant armor, and aesthetically amazing, as the spectacular armor was dyed in gold and magenta. A truly indestructible breastplate.
However, within Kepler, new creatures emerged from the creation of the dragons. In the moment that Elgoneth extracted the golden essences from the subsoil, he decided to solidify and fuse them into a green glass base called the green emerald. With this emerald, the Supreme Green Dragon could be created, and the Vegetative Lineage managed to be consolidated. But these main foundations came from the Nénufar region, a territory located in the swamps of the Lileín River.
But this extraction resulted as a disproportion in the balance of the energy that kept the region alive. After that, in a compensatory way, this energy submerged inside the mangroves of Nénufar and the earthly roots began to unify with the aquatic ones. An absolutely new organic matter was gathered, which set the creation of an unexpected and fresh species. They began to rise slowly, intertwining with each other; from the adjoining swamps, and in a moment, the eminence of giants was perpetuated.
With the birth of these beings, the energies managed to reorder themselves, and through them, they expressed their fury and discontent at the tearing of the foundations. The fragments of the heart of the area had been taken away.
The beings were divided into two types, the Neufratos and the Neufaros. The Neufratos were tremendously big, and had thick and robust limbs. From their roots flowed a greenish light, which functioned as the main powers of its region. The Neufaros were smaller, almost as the size of a regular tree. These had strange and deformed faces, and their limbs were much thinner.
Although these species were unified, they were quickly destroyed by the first Army of the Dragon Kingdom. But these monsters did not die, they survived in the subsoil, and for days they continued to intertwine with each other. Waiting for the right moment to return and rise like giant creatures, and when the day came, when both moons of the planet were in their aligned waning state, the roots absorbed the cold light of them. They used it as a catalyst; the adequate energy source to rise again and invade the land races, or at least, with the pretense of wanting to do so, as this was only intended to incite the battle against the Kingdom of Dragons.
Those of Nénufar correctly deduced that the green emerald was embedded in one of the dragons, and therefore, they rose with the vehemence of recovering the stolen gem. They longed to seize it, and return it to the place where it belonged, the Nénufar Region.
This is why these beings detested dragons, and throughout their existence in Kepler, they dedicated themselves mixing with each other; gathering enough energy to rise in the waning nights like monstrosities and tried every time to destroy the dragon army. And, although they were always defeated, they swore that one day they would beat the Dragon Kingdom, and the green emerald would finally be recovered. Thus, the dragons welcomed their main enemy kingdom, the Monsters of Nénufar. They fought each other throughout their coexistence, and forged what was known as the Eternal War.
Dragons were much more powerful beings, and in original times, the Golden King was the leader in combat. He led them to substantial success. The objective was not to eliminate these beings, but rather to dismantle and overthrow them until they ceased to constitute a threat to the nearby regions of the land race. In fact, the confrontation was convenient, as it allowed the dragons to improve their skills, organize their rapid movements, and coordinate their attack and defense. The army perfected its battle strategies.
Those of Nénufar were decomposed and disintegrated, but these were regenerated and rebuilt below the surface and the swamps again, so they constantly resurfaced. That allowed their species to be pluralized. However, in the same way, the Dragon Army also resurfaced. And this resurgence was nothing more than the constant evolution of the army, and its impressive styles of attack. This pressure gave them just what they needed to generate the fruits of strength they were looking for, and that they could not develop it in any other way than in these wars. As long as the Nenufars resurfaced, the Dragons would always become more powerful.
