Legends of Amacia The Caverias Rebellion

Chapter 32: Reunited

A half hour later, Hanna showed up in the healing chamber, cleaned up and wearing a clean tank-top shirt, a pair of trousers, and leather sandals. She walked quickly over to Selina and immediately noticed that the healer was nearly done with her. Hanna looked down at her and her emotions overloaded again. Tears burst forth and she sobbed quietly while caressing Selina’s face. She looked Selina over from head to toe and loved her more than her own life. She was even more attractive to Hanna in her helpless state in her oversized gray T-shirt. “Oh, what you have suffered because of me. This is all my fault. I should have never brought you to this cursed land,” Hanna sobbed softly as the light from the machine faded away. Kissing her hand, Hanna said emotionally, “My beloved soul mate. Why didn’t I leave you at Tiamat like I wanted?” She threw herself on Selina, weeping over her.

“Because the Lord wanted me here at your side,” Selina whispered as she slowly woke, seeing Hanna bawling like a little girl. Hanna suddenly stopped crying and looked Selina in the face. Her eyes were weak, barely open, but a slight smile was on her lips as she whispered, “Surely, the Lord knew what He was doing when He sent me with you.”

Hanna’s face flushed with joy and she scooped Selina up, clutching her to her breast, kissing her repeatedly. “Easy, Hanna,” Selina warned with a whisper. “I’m still not one hundred percent. I have no strength in me.”

Hanna let her down gently, saying, “I know. I’m still not fully recovered either.”

“Where are we?” Selina whispered weakly.

“The Isle of Antilla in the Red Tower of Tsang Chi,” Hanna replied as she hovered inches away from Selina’s face. “We are safe here from the Emperor and his minions for now.”

Selina’s face relaxed a little with the news. “Kiss me, my mutated king,” she whispered. “Let me kiss the man I married and not the sister I see before me.”

Hanna gave her one of Hannibal’s special kisses that showed her exactly how much she loved her. Selina melted in the kiss, falling back asleep with an ecstatic smile on her face. “Selina?” Hanna whispered softly to her. “Selina?” A very soft purr began to rumble out of Selina’s chest and she knew that she was going to be all right. Hanna sobbed joyously as she gently picked Selina up to take her back to their quarters. As she did, Kida returned with Emma and ten men with stretchers to carry out those whom the healer had finished with. They immediately saw Hanna picking Selina up as they entered. Emma motioned for Kida to go to them while she went with the men to help carry the sleeping patients out.

Hanna turned with Selina to see Kida rushing to them. Her face was aglow with excitement and hope. “Is the healer done with her? Did she wake? Did she say anything?” Kida asked excitedly. She immediately saw the tears and the smile on Hanna’s face.

“Yes,” Hanna replied. “She woke for just a moment before you got here. She’s sleeping now. I’m going to take her back to our quarters and clean her up. Do you have anything for her to wear?”

Kida was ecstatic. “Yes! Yes, I’ll get something right away and bring it to your room!” she cried. Hanna smiled and carried Selina back to their quarters. Kida ran to Emma and grabbed her excitedly, saying, “She woke up and spoke! She’s going to be all right like you said!” She hugged Emma tightly and added, “I’ve got to tell momma and dad!” Kida rushed out and Emma smiled warmly as Kida ran off. It warmed her heart to no end to see Kida so excited. Emma then went back to her task of helping carry those the healer was done with outside.

Hanna made it to her quarters in a matter of minutes and immediately took Selina to the bathtub. She gently undressed Selina and laid her in the warm waters of the tub, beginning to wash her gently. Hanna washed Selina from head to toe.

As she began washing her hair, Selina woke again, being revived by the warm water and the action of Hanna’s hands scrubbing the weeks of filth from her. “What are you doing?” she asked sleepily.

Hanna moved in close to her saying, “What do you think, sis? I am giving you a bath.” Selina was at a loss for words and a bit embarrassed. Her mouth hung open in surprise as Hanna went on to wash her hair. “You said that you didn’t have any strength,” Hanna said as she gently lathered Selina’s hair. “And let’s face it. I don’t think the Emperor let you have a real bath while you were a prisoner there, did he?”

Selina shook her head, saying, “No. You’re right. I haven’t had a real bath in over a month. My sisters in the Harem did give me sponge baths once a week while I was there. By the way, where are they? You did get them, didn’t you?” Hanna heard the pleading tone of Selina’s voice as she finished lathering Selina’s hair.

“Yes. We got them out, all of them,” Hanna reported in a soft tone. “But Izanami, Myra, Tasha, Jennifer, Sakura, Jasmine, Hitomi and Trinity had been severely mistreated when we got there. They had been lashed to a pillar four feet off the floor in a perverted crucifixion. I had been told they had been like that for two days because the Emperor thought they knew something about my return to the fortress. They, of course, knew nothing. All the rest of the women had been chained like animals when we got there.”

Selina was horrified as she asked with great concern, “Are they all right?”

Hanna moved around to the side of the tub and knelt on the floor so she could look Selina in the eye. “Yes. We got there in the nick of time, but as I said, Izanami, Myra, Tasha, Trinity, Sakura, Jasmine, and Hitomi had been beaten severely,” Hanna reported softly, remembering the event. “Myra was dying when we got there. Had I not laid hands on her and prayed, rebuking the spirit of death that was on her, she would have been lost. The Lord brought her back and I asked Amelia give her a quick touch to stabilize her, which she did. Izanami, Trinity, Sakura, Jasmine, Hitomi, and Tasha were beaten severely too but they weren’t as close to death as Myra. Tasha was running a high fever, which I also rebuked. All seven of them went immediately to the healing chamber where you have been for over the last three days. But they will be all right. We got to them in time.”

A weary smile crossed Selina’s face upon hearing Hanna’s report. “That’s terrific news,” she purred. “I was afraid the Emperor would kill them before you came to get us.”

“Well, he almost did,” Hanna declared. “But he didn’t. Not only did I get them out, we raided the sex floor, Kitchen, the Cadre Labs, and the dungeons in the process. We brought out at least five hundred prisoners like you. Heck, I even got Josephine out of her mechanized hell.”

“What?” Selina replied. “How’d you do that? Does that mean your mutation can be reversed?”

Hanna smiled wryly. “Yes, it does,” she answered. “How I did it isn’t important right now. You’re not strong enough yet to see how the Lord performed this miracle extraction. When the time is right, I’ll let you see how it happened. Just know that we had a lot more help than we anticipated.”

Selina tried to see what happened through her telepathic link to Hanna, but Hanna blocked her probe. “You’re so much stronger now,” Selina commented, “It’s amazing. It’s like you’re a different person now. I see the change, and it’s for the better. Not only are you much stronger telepathically, you’re much more confident and at ease with yourself. You’re letting your emotions out rather than bottling them up as you used to do. I’d like to understand what’s caused this change in you.”

Hanna touched Selina on her wet cheek with her hand. “You’re right,” she admitted. “Everything you said is correct. I am a changed being because of what’s happened to me. It’s a change that’s far from being complete too. I will share everything with you when you’ve regained some of your strength. To hit you with it right now would cause you trouble you don’t need. You must trust me, princess, and be patient. All the answers you want will come. Now, if you will shut your eyes, we’ll rinse your hair out, okay?” Selina nodded and Hanna carefully rinsed out her hair, cleaning it thoroughly. After the rinse, Hanna pushed Selina’s hair out of her eyes and said with great love, “I said it once and I’ll say it again. My god you are beautiful when you’re wet.”

Selina actually laughed and tried to raise her hand futilely. Hanna saw her attempt and immediately reached out, grabbing her hand out of the water. She placed it to her cheek and held it there. It was the exact move that Selina wanted to do and Hanna knew it. “How did you know I wanted to do that?” Selina asked with some amazement.

“This is why I’m holding back: your mental fatigue, which is obvious now. Surely, you didn’t forget our link,” Hanna said as she kissed Selina’s knuckles. “I remember our first telepathic encounter. Don’t you?”

Selina smiled, saying, “Yes, my love. I do.”

Hanna looked deep into her eyes and said, “You were the strong one. I was the weak one. Do you remember when I made contact with you after you were taken to the Tower?”

Selina nodded, with anticipation on her face as she said, “How could I forget it? You were dead to me, our link all but seemingly extinguished and me loosing hope. You came to me with such power, might, and love that I was overwhelmed. You were like the phoenix rising from the ashes. Not only did you initiate contact, you hid things from me, just as you are doing now. I didn’t understand, but somehow knew with that one act something had changed.”

Hanna clasped her hands around Selina’s hand, holding it gently. Looking Selina in the eye, Hanna said, “Yes, I told you that there were things I couldn’t tell you then, amazing things. Do you know what has happened to me since our capture?” Selina shook her head no and Hanna said, “The Lord has amplified the telepathic gift He gave me fifty fold. I have become so powerful that even the Emperor is afraid of me. Like I said, there is so much to tell you but I don’t think it would be wise to dump it all on you now. You are still weak from your experience. But for now, just be content with the fact that we are finally together again. I will show it all to you in time.”

Hanna’s comments puzzled Selina deeply. She tried futilely to search Hanna’s memories but her mind was so weak from the experience in the Black Fortress that she finally gave up, finding only Hanna’s absolute and unconditional love for her there. “You’ve done it, haven’t you? You’ve mastered the gift,” Selina asked.

Hanna nodded, saying, “You might say that. I have mastered it and many other things as well.” She reached out and caressed Selina’s face, smiling warmly as she did it. A few seconds later, she shifted position and began to massage Selina’s shoulders gently. Selina let out a pleasured moan as Hanna gave her a deep massage on her shoulders. “You like?” Hanna asked, noticing that Selina was really soaking it up.

“Yes, oh yes. That feels so good. Don’t stop,” Selina replied in a soft tone that reflected her pleasure in the massage. Hanna was getting as much pleasure out of giving the massage as Selina was getting it. “Oh, the Lord has done so much in your absence. I have been places, and seen and done things that cannot be imagined. I have learned so much and am still learning,” Hanna said with great sincerity.

“What have you learned, my love?” Selina asked with a yawn. The warm bath and Hanna’s gentleness in her massage was making her sleepy again.

“Well, I learned that I am nothing without you,” Hanna replied bluntly. Selina smiled as Hanna continued, saying, “I also learned that the Lord is truly a wonderful and merciful God. Things happen for a reason and sometimes we do not understand why until after the fact. I have encountered some wonderful people since my escape from the Arena and they have been so good to us. They have been such good friends, and helped me rescue you from the Emperor.”

Selina was slipping back into slumber as she nodded sleepily saying, “I would like to meet these friends of yours.”

“You will,” Hanna replied happily as she stopped her massage of Selina’s shoulders. “But first, let’s get you out of that tub and into a soft bed.” Selina was rapidly falling back to sleep as Hanna gently put her arms around Selina, lifting her out of the tub.

Selina had fallen into the twilight zone between sleep and being coherent when a voice called out, “Hanna, where are you?” The voice called out as Hanna lifted Selina out of the tub.

“We’re in here, Kida,” Hanna replied. Selina’s vision was a hazy blur and she couldn’t tell whether she was asleep or awake when she caught a glimpse of a giantess coming in the bathroom. The fact Hanna had called the giantess Kida didn’t register on Selina. “You’re timing is impeccable,” Hanna said as she stood there with Selina, dripping all over the floor. “Did you find something for her to wear?”

“Yes, I did,” Kida answered as she came in. She suddenly flushed in embarrassment when she saw Selina’s nudity. She quickly turned away, saying, “Oh, I’m so sorry! I didn’t know!”

“It’s all right,” Hanna answered. “In fact, your help is actually needed. Besides, she’s your sister. She’s still too weak to move on her own. I need you to help me dry and dress her.” Kida turned back to them hesitantly, quickly closing the bathroom door in case anyone else thought to intrude. “It’s not like you haven’t seen it before,” Hanna said as she gently sat Selina in a chair, holding on to her to be sure that she didn’t fall.

Kida came forward and sat the nightgown aside she had brought. Grabbing a towel, she knelt down beside Selina and began drying her. Hanna quickly went and got another towel and began drying Selina’s hair. Kida was still embarrassed, but did as Hanna asked her. As she had her first active physical contact with Selina in two hundred and fifty years, Kida’s emotions boiled. Hanna noticed it and said, “It’s all right, Kida. You’re doing well.” Kida gently dried her sister from the neck down. Selina was so sleepy that she didn’t know what was really going on. Her head just wobbled back and forth slowly as Hannibal dried her hair. By time Kida got to Selina’s feet, Hanna was done with her hair saying, “Let me pick her up so you can get her back.” Kida watched with wonder as Hanna gently wrapped her arms around Selina and picked her up, giving her a gentle bear hug. Selina’s head flopped onto Hanna’s shoulder as she held onto her. Kida immediately moved in and dried her back and once done, Hanna sat Selina back in the chair and Kida picked up the nightgown. By time Hanna had sat Selina back down, she was sound asleep with a purr rumbling out of her chest. Hanna put her ear to Selina’s chest and smiled warmly. “She’s purring again,” she told Kida as she looked at them. Kida smiled warmly, no longer embarrassed at Selina’s nudity. The love of her sister and her desire to help in any way possible caused her embarrassment to disappear. They gently dressed her in the velvety soft nightgown. It was gray in color and just a little big on her, easily reaching to her feet.

“It’s a little big,” Hanna commented as she picked up Selina’s sleeping form. “Where did you get it?”

“It’s one of momma’s nightgowns,” Kida responded. “When she found out that Selina was in need of something to wear, she gave it to her.”

Hanna walked toward the door and Kida intercepted him, opening the door for them. They went into the bedroom where a large bed was waiting with the blankets pulled down and the pillows waiting. Hanna gently laid Selina on the bed and covered her with the blankets up to the neck. She kissed her gently on the cheek as Kida watched, saying, “Sleep, my beloved princess. Be at peace. It has been a long time coming.” She stroked Selina’s hair, briefly forgetting that Kida was there. Kida watched for several moments as Hanna gazed at Selina’s sleeping form. She began to sob softly.

“What is wrong?” Kida asked, sitting on the bed next to Hanna, putting a friendly hand on her shoulder.

“Nothing,” Hanna replied softly. “Nothing’s wrong now.”

“Come on, you can tell me, little sister,” Kida purred in her ear.

“It has been so long, and she’s suffered so much. I still can’t believe that we really got her out of that hell,” Hanna whispered emotionally as she looked Kida in the eye. “Can you imagine the nightmare she endured there? She will never be the same.”

Kida looked at Hanna seriously, saying, “Of course she’ll never be the same. And neither will you. You both have a terrible trauma from what you experienced. But you both are survivors. You have shown extraordinary strength in the face of such a terrible ordeal and so has she. Give it time. You healed each other once. Let it happen again.”

Hanna sighed emotionally. She knew Kida was right. As she looked over at her, Kida said, “I will leave you two alone for now.” She rose and left without another word, leaving Hanna alone with Selina. She watched her for a few moments, and then went to the bathroom to clean up in there, stowing Selina’s old clothes in a basket with the used towels and washcloths. Hanna finished by cleaning the tub, and then went back into the bedroom. She looked at Selina lying sound asleep in peace for the first time since their capture. The fatigue was beginning to hit Hanna hard.

The still small voice whispered in Hanna’s ear, “Go to her.” This was an order Hanna didn’t have any problem obeying. She changed into a regular T-shirt and gray sweat pants before climbing in the bed with Selina, cuddling close and slipping and arm around her. Hanna began to doze as Selina shifted position, rolling toward her, letting her arm slide over her chest. It was only then that Hanna finally knew that Selina was home. Selina’s soft purr rumbled out of her chest, making Hanna even sleepier. Happiness gathered in Hanna’s soul as she drifted off to sleep with her soul mate sleeping next to her.
