Selina felt someone nudging her gently, calling out, “Selina...wake up, Selina.” The sound of the voice was filled with urgency, which dragged Selina into consciousness. She grabbed her head as it throbbed painfully, seeing Sakura, Jasmine, Hitomi, Myra, and Izanami circled around her. “Selina, where’s Hanna?” Myra asked with urgency.

Selina looked around and saw Hanna missing with her chains lying empty. A deep growl arose from Selina as she remembered the gassing. “They took her,” she answered angrily. “They gassed us and obviously snatched her away while we were unconscious. The bastard obviously lied about letting her have three days before the Arena.”

Izanami plopped down beside Selina and sighed. “We cannot give up hope,” she said. “Hanna is still alive.”

“How do you know?” Sakura asked.

“Because Selina is still here,” Izanami replied, “Remember what Hanna said? She said that the Emperor wants Selina to watch her be killed in the Arena, so she’s still alive for the moment.”

“That’s right,” Selina stated. “Besides, I can still sense her, but I can’t tell where.”

“She’s probably been taken to the dungeons near the Arena,” Myra suggested. “We must pray for her.”

“That’s a good idea,” Selina agreed, “Prayer is about the only thing we have left.” With that, Selina and the women of the Harem began praying for Hanna’s survival.
