KMA: Kickass Man A Is Back

Chapter 31 Cut the Rough Stone

The host walked to the edge of the stage. The waitress in a red dress held the rough stone and followed him with a smile. "Sir, congratulations on buying this stone. Would you like to cut it open on the spot?" Asked the host with a smile.

Joseph's face darkened. "Yes!"

On the other side, Ruben chuckled, "Don't bother! It's just a trash!"

"Shut up!" Joseph glared angrily at him.

Ruben spat out a smoke ring at him like a rogue and said, "Trash, Trash, It's a trash!"

Joseph was at his wit's end!

"Forget it, Joseph. Don't lower yourself to his level. Let's see whether you lose or earn." Shelly was eager to know if there was any top-grade gem in the rough stone.

The waitress had already brought the rough stone to the corner of the stage, where there was a professional in charge of cutting stones.

The host shouted, "The first rough stone is cutting right now. I hope this gentleman can make a huge earning!"

The man began to polish carefully. With the polishing, the level inside became more and more green.

"This is a sign of a top-class gem!" Bill couldn't help but stand up, staring at the stone excitedly.

Joseph, Gavin, and the others also stood up excitedly with expectation.

Only Tobias could keep calmness and still sit on the seat, staring at Atlas.

Ruben looked sullen. He asked Atlas in a low voice, "Atlas, it seems that the price of this stone is about to soar! Are you mistaken?"

Atlas said indifferently, "Keep watching."

Ruben immediately fell silent.

The host shouted, "Oh, congratulations, sir. This is a prelude to a great price increase. Last time, a gentleman got an Imperial Geen Emerald from a rough stone which was exactly the same as this one." Joseph became even more confident. He couldn't help but look at Ruben and Atlas. "Mr. Kimmerly, thank you for giving this rough stone to me!"

Ruben snorted. "You're welcome!"

However, soon, the smile on the host's face froze, as the polished green color began to fade again.

"It's over, it's over!" The sharp-eyed Ruben immediately burst into laughter and gloated.

The other people also stretched their necks and watched as the green color continued to fade. They all shook their heads.

"I thought it would be a treasure, but it turns out to be a trash!"

"It's all over. In this case, its final value won't exceed 200,000!"

"Yes, we suffered a great loss. Fortunately, we gave up!"

Some people looked at Joseph with gloating eyes.

In the end, the entire piece of rough stone was cut out. It was only a gemstone that could still be considered of high class, but worth 200,000 at most.

The host said embarrassedly, "Winning and losing are common. Sir, don't be discouraged. Maybe next time, you can earn it back by double!"

Ruben immediately jumped out and said, "Joseph, had your head been kicked by a donkey? 800,000 to buy such a trash!"

It was as if Joseph hadn't heard the sarcasm from Ruben at all. He wanted to cry. "How could this be? Didn't you just say that there might be an Imperial Green Emerald?"

"I lost 500,000 for a trash! If my father knows about this, he will beat me to death!"

Tobias kicked the stunned Joseph behind him to wake up him.

He looked at Ruben and Atlas viciously, hissed, "Humph, it's nothing. I can afford it!"

"Well, everyone, please be quiet. Let's see the next rough stone!" The host smiled and threw off the red cloth on the rough stone.

It was basketball-sized, larger than the previous one. However, the surface of this one was similarly green, even darker than the previous one.

As soon as the stone appeared, there was an uproar below.

"What a big and fine rough stone! The probability of producing gem is at least 80%!"

"If that previous stone can be regarded as high grade, then this stone can definitely be called the top!"

"I reckon the price of this stone is much higher than the previous one!"

The host announced loudly, "Everyone, the starting price of this stone is one million, and the bid increment is one hundred thousand!" "The auction begins now!"

Someone sighed and said, "Every time the price increases by one hundred thousand... This stone will be sold at a sky-high price!"

Ruben immediately looked at Atlas beside him and asked in a low voice, "How is it? Is this all right?"

After Atlas succeeded in judging the first rough stone, Ruben completely admired him. Now he was sure that Atlas must be an expert in stone gambling.

Atlas glanced at it and said, "It's a bit better than the previous one. I don't know the specific value. You decide it yourself."

"I see!" Ruben knew what to do.

Sherlock and Bill began to praise the rough stone loudly again and then began to raise the price.

Soon the two of them had raised the price from one million to three million.

Looking at the rough stone, Joseph was very tempted. But with the lesson from the last time, he became much more cautious.

"Gavin, Mr. Morrison, what do you think?" Joseph asked.

Although Gavin was not professional, he often came to play and knew a bit about stone gambling.

He touched his chin and looked at it carefully for a while, and said, "From the color of it, it is indeed a top one. However, it is too big. If what is exposed is the best part of it, then you'll get another lose if you buy it!"

Tobias nodded, "Gavin's is right. I don't think highly of this rough stone either."

"Then let's give up this one." Joseph said.

After hearing Atlas' words, Ruben lost his interest in bidding this rough stone. Moreover, seeing that Joseph and his friends had also given up, he was no more interested in it.

In the end, this rough stone was bought by a real estate tycoon at a price of six million dollars.

However, after being cut at the spot, it turned out to be an ordinary fine-quality gem. The market price was about 2 million, so he lost about 4 million.

Then, the third rough stone was carried onto the stage.

The host continued to smile. "I'm sorry, no top-class gemstones had been extracted from the precious two rough stones. I hope the third one will be different!" When the red cloth was lifted, a palm-sized rough stone appeared in front of everyone.

However, the color on the surface of it was even better than that of the second one which had been extracted.

Someone stood up and exclaimed, "It's not a rough stone. It's obviously a finished gemstone!"

"Yes, the price of this rough stone alone is probably an enormous figure!"

The host chuckled and said, "The minimum price is five million, and each bid is at least five hundred thousand more. Let's start the bidding!"

The base price was five million, which was not low. And each raise was at least five hundred thousand, jeez.

Although everyone complained, they were very optimistic about this rough stone.

Joseph had ants in his pants. This was the last one of the auction. If he missed it, he had to go to search for treasures in the pile of rough stones outside.

"Mr. Morrison, Gavin, how about this one?"

Tobias said, "No hurry. Let's wait and see how others will react."

Gavin nodded. "Mr. Morrison is right. Be patient."

"Okay!" Joseph forced himself to calm down.

Ruben was also impatient and excitedly asked Atlas, "How is this one?"

Atlas said something to him in a low voice, and Ruben immediately smiled evilly.00000000
