Chapter king 28
DARLENE.
My husband and I woke up earlier that morning. We needed to get back

to the kids, leaving them all alone, in this situation wasn’t safe at all.
In a few hours, we landed, as our driver
was waiting to take us back home from the airport.
“Hello Clinton,” I greeted our driver.
“Good day Madam, I hope you enjoyed your flight?” He asked.

“It was fantastic,” I turned to Cullian who was looking out the window, a wide smile on his lips. I bet the memories from last night would be tough to get out of each other’s head, it was bloody dangerous, yet I could still feel the pleasure in each memory.
We were stuck in traffic for hours and I was sure the kids must have returned from school, coming home to not find us, despite me
promising them that I would be back as early as possible, I hope they wouldn’t be mad at me.
Minutes had passed, yet the traffic hadn’t cleared up, it was so frustrating.
“Shit, we left Paris earlier, and now look, it’s past noon, yet we aren’t home yet,” I complained.
“Look, I think it’s clearing up, we will be home in no time,” Cullian said.
And truly, in minutes the traffic cleared up. We drove into our compound, everything looked so cool! and quiet.
“Mummy, daddy,” the moment I stepped down from the car, Drake, Blake and Aurora ran towards me, welcoming me with a hug. Then they ran towards Cullian.
“Whoa!! It seems like you guys grew overnight, did you miss us?” Cullian asked.
“Like crazy!” Drake responded. I turned to Cullian and Cullian did the same, we both stared at each other dumbfounded.
“Where did you learn that?” I lifted a brow.

“Our new teacher,” Drake mumbled.
“Mrs Olivia died from an accident, that is what our new teacher said,” Aurora added.
I squatted in front of Drake, drawing him close to me.
“D–do you know your new teacher’s name?” I questioned. He nodded
his head in a yes.
“W–who is he?” I stuttered.

“son of a bitch!”
“W–who is he?” I stuttered
“His name is Mr Alex,” they all said in unison.
“Mr Alex? Are you sure?” Cullian asked.
“Yes,” they nodded in unison.
“Alright sweeties, let’s go inside,” I said, and they all ran inside, then I and Cullian followed behind.
The fact that Drake would come up with such words was disturbing, and
I knew Cullian was also disturbed. I needed to find out, I needed to be
sure.
