Chapter 13: New Home
He was also a brunette with grey eyes.
"Nice to meet you. My name is Damien," he said as Marina was nodding at him before Caleb was growling at him. Then, he shut up until Caleb's parents came into the living room.
"Is this her?" the older woman in her 40s was coming at her before she was taking Marina's hands into her as she was smiling at her.
"How do you do? My name is Marina," she said before the old woman was hugging her. She was stunned before she was looking at Caleb. He just smirked at her.
"You don't need to be formal dear. You can call me Mum. You're our family now," she said before she turned to look at her husband.
"And you can call me Dad. Welcome, Marina, to our humble home," he said as Marina was looking at his black hair and yellow eyes. So that's where Caleb got his eyes from, she mused before she was smiling politely at him.
"So, when is the wedding?" Mum asked Caleb before he cleared his throat.
"As soon as possible," he said that made Marina whipped her head to him. He smirked before someone was snickering behind them.
Xavier, she thinks.
"Well, we cannot delay any longer. I can smell your scent all over her. We will have the wedding immediately, no more delays," Mum said before she was being pulled by her to get inside the house. Marina turned to look at Caleb but he was focused on his father and they were talking about something.
"Do not worry, Marina, Mum will take care of everything for you. It just a matter of time for him to bring you home. You're getting married tomorrow," the old woman said before Marina whipped her head to her.
"Tomorrow?"
"Yes, everything has been done and we will have the best ceremony ever," Mum said before Marina was gulping.
What did I get myself into? She mused before she was getting inside the room and everything was history.

Caleb was sweating hard. Don't freak out. Just breathe, he reminded himself as they were standing in front of the wedding arch that he has no idea about. This must be mother's doing, Caleb mused before Xavier was whistling to him.
"I cannot actually believe that you are getting married and right now, I am so happy that you are sweating profusely in that suit, " his best friend said before Caleb was glaring at him.
"Shut up, Xavier. Next time, it will be your turn," he said before his Beta laughed.
"If my mate still exists, I took my chances," he said before the Wedding March started to play. Everyone was turning to look at the future Luna as Marina was walking down the altar with her white gown and a bouquet of flowers in her hands.
Caleb was blinking his eyes as she was a magnificent look right now. The dress was hugging her figure perfectly with her tendrils of hair was flowing behind her back. She was smiling when she was approaching Caleb and his heart gave a little squeeze at the sight.
"You're beautiful," he whispered before she smiled shyly at him, and then, Sebastian was clearing his throat. Sebastian has many responsibilities in the pack as he was the Ultima, the only male Ultima in the pack, that he was very precious and important in every event.
Be it a mating ceremony, baptism, or funeral. He's the man for all those.
"Dearly pack, we gather here today to celebrate two souls who have found each other in the mating ceremony to join them together for eternity under the watchful eyes of the Moon Goddess," Sebastian said as they were staring at each other, waiting for the union to begin.
"The rings, please," Sebastian said before the rings were represented to them.
Caleb took the wedding ring and took a deep breath before he was looking at Marina. She was smiling at him as he took her hand and slid the ring into it as he was saying his vows.
"I, Caleb Cavier Andino, promise to be with you, Marina Kasun, for the rest of our lives together, in sickness and health, in rich and poor, in good and bad, to cherish and honor our love for one another until death does us apart," he said before Marina was biting her lower lips to keep the tears at bay.
Then it was her turn. Marina took the ring for his hand and slid it on as she said her vow/
"I, Marina Kasun, promise to cherish and honor our love as I promise to be with you for the rest of my life, in good and bad, in rich and poor, in sickness and health until death does us apart," she finished it as they were holding their hands together. Sebastian cleared his throat before saying:
"I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride,"
Caleb took her face into his hands before claiming her mouth in the passionate, demanding, and rough kiss that Marina seemed to like. They smiled in their kiss as they broke apart before Sebastian turned to the crowd.
"I gave you, future Alpha Caleb and Luna Marina. Shadow Pack lives on!" he said before the crowd followed.
"Shadow Pack lives on!"
Then, they were off to their reception.

Marina was taking in the breathtaking view of the new house that she will be staying in after she married. This has not been something in mind when she was looking forward as she will be here forever in her life.
No more going out in the world to exact my revenge, I suppose, she mused before she sighed, a champagne flute in one hand. She has escaped the party early when Caleb asked her to come with him.
Now they were alone and she was getting nervous like a virgin on their wedding night.
They just spent the night together 2 nights ago when she practically begging him to ravish her. she blushed before sipping on the wine again as the breeze was hitting her face.
"Taking the sight, I see," Caleb said before Marina was smirking against the glass. She knew that he wasn't talking about the magical view of the mountains and the forests. No, he was talking about her backside on his view right now.
Marina turned as she was leaning against the railing, making sure that her breasts were thrust upward as Caleb was focusing on them. His golden eyes were darkened. She loved it when she was able to gain an upper hand against him.
"Do you want to come inside now?" he asked her as she was rolling the liquid in the glass before sipping it in one go. Then, Marina was focusing on his handsome face again.
"Hmm, I don't know. Should I?" she taunted him as Caleb was growling at her right now. She laughed before Caleb was striding toward her, making sure that his eyes were locking with hers.
He picked her up as Marina was wrapping her legs around his torso as she was carried into their bedroom before Caleb put her on the bed gently and taking her glass to put it aside.
"You're sad. What's wrong?" he asked her before Marina was shaking her head.
"Nothing. it was nothing," she said but Caleb was not buying.
"Nothing always means something. You know you can tell me right?" he said as Marina was looking at him. She smiled before she was pulling his head closer to hers.
"Kiss me," she said and her husband obliged. Husband, what a strange word but it was making her heart fluttered inside her tainted chest.
"Are you mad about something?" he asked her before Marina was smiling at him. Then, she leaned forward before whispered to his lips.
"I know that you kill my grandfather, but I forgave you for you are my redemption, Caleb Andino," she said and before she can kiss him, Caleb jerked back, blinking his eyes at her.
"You...knew?" he asked her before she sighed. Then, she nodded.
"How long?"
"Since you show up at the cottage. I don't even give you the location but somehow you knew," she said before she smirked.
"And I am an assassin. It is my job to take care if anything like that happened," she said but she pulled him closer, getting on top of her as Marina was smiling wickedly at him.
"You're not mad?" Caleb asked as his golden eyes were staring at her. She sighed before she shook her head.
"I was angry at first but then, I started to think why my grandpa was getting murdered. There must be something in the past that made his fate like this. So I started digging the family history. Apparently, my grandpa did not store the family secret very well," Marina said as she was looking at her husband. Caleb arched his eyebrow.
"It was behind the paintings of my ancestors and I read on how he wanted to get the Alpha of the Shadow Pack to be dead. So I put two and two together," she pulled Caleb closer, "and I found out that you must be planning to get revenge for your father," Marina said before she was coddling his face.
"And with that, I know how it felt to get vengeance for justice cause I felt it once too. Do you regret it?" she asked him before Caleb gulped.
"I don't but somehow I just wished I don't do it," he said softly before Marina pulled his face closer to her.
"Maybe this time, I will be your redemption, my love, for you have been mine," she said and they kissed before the night was ending, they showed each other how much they loved and will always be with them no matter what happened in the past.
Sometimes, it was easier to let go than to take revenge for the heart will be free of burden and life will have more meaning in it.
