Chapter The Beginning
“An outbreak that began in China has spread rapidly, with cases now confirmed in multiple countries.” -
On December 31, 2019, China reported a cluster of cases of pneumonia. On January 7, 2020, Chinese health authorities confirmed that this cluster was associated with a novel coronavirus. Although cases were originally reported to be associated with exposure at the seafood market, current data indicates that person-to-person transmission is occurring. As of January 30, 2020, a total of 9976 cases had been reported in at least 21 countries, including the first confirmed case in the United States, reported on January 20, 2020.
The extent of human-to-human transmission was not yet known, but transmission was assumed based on previous outbreaks of other similar respiratory illnesses. It wasn't until much later that scientists learned that there were many undetected cases. People were carrying the virus but showing no symptoms at all. An unnamed man from Seattle returned from China and began exhibiting symptoms. Upon realizing this, he visited an urgent care clinic where he was swabbed. The results came back the next day, and he was, indeed, infected.
Medical staff erected a pop-up biohazard tent with a mobile isolation unit. In five days his condition worsened and he was placed on oxygen. By day 9 he had pneumonia. Luckily, an experimental drug meant he was granted a second shot at life.
Our illustrious President referred to the case as "one person coming in from China, and we have it under control. It's -- going to be just fine". What he didn't know is that there were numerous cases in the United States, and across the globe, and this “control” that he referred to was nonexistent. A National State of Emergency was declared in March and the Global Pandemic began in earnest.
This is what the media reported.
The truth is far more sinister and unbelievable.
